“Slightly delayed review but who cares. While I no longer live in New Orleans, this is one of my favorite places I’d been to. I still dream of my dinner from NYE 2022 🤤 I believe it was a rabbit mole, which was absolutely 🔥 and the huitlacoche quesadilla. The mole is forever imprinted on my soul!“

“Some of the best Mexican and Tex-Mex I’ve ever had! I’m from NWA, and we have a large Hispanic population with tons of Mexican restaurants. There’s some truly great food up there, especially from the food trucks, and this place definitely rivaled it.

My wife and I ordered six different items to go, and the total was about $65. Every single dish was good, so I’d honestly recommend trying anything from the menu. Personally, I’d suggest the Build Your Own Bowl. I customized mine exactly how I wanted, and for only $14 it ended up being enough for two meals.

One quick note about online ordering: if you plan to get food to go, make your order online but screenshot it before checking out. Then, go to the restaurant, show the guy who takes the orders, and wait for your food. Online, my total showed over $70, but ordering in person saved me about $7.“

“We never knew this place even existed. Last time we looked it was an abandoned home. The menu was diverse with Mexican, po boys, and some Mediterranean. We all had tacos, birria and fish and they were all great with generous servings. The home made salsa was a nice treat. Give this place a try and don't overlook it. Note that there is off-street parking in the back.“

“These tacos are so good, I had to bring my husband. The very next day, because he is a show-off, he had to bring me back again with his cousin. Then she said she will bring two of her good friends as soon as she gets a chance. Needless to say, these tacos are the best!! 5 out of 5 stars.“

“I had an event for 50 High School students catered by Felipes and it was perfect. I ordered the Taco Bar and they hit a homerun. There was plenty of food - it arrived on time and still hot. The delivery person helped me get the food inside which I appreciated. Everything that we ordered was there and there was enough food for some leftovers. The students all raved about how great the food was and how excited they were about the cheese dip and chicken tacos. The ordering process on the front end was easy - and the employee Samantha was able to help me adjust the order the day of the event. Outstanding service! A+ FOR FELIPES!“

“Staying nearby and drove by a few times and saw it was always busy. Walked up for an early dinner and couldn’t have been more impressed. Great people, great atmosphere and unbelievably delicious food made with fresh ingredients. Also found everything reasonably priced. Very happy that we trusted in our rule of eating where the locals go. How have they not been featured on the Food Network???“

“It's hard to believe as many times as have been to New Orleans that I have never been to this restaurant. The food was really really good. So good that when I started eating I wanted to keep eating. I had to slow down! I had the pulled pork fajitas which were very very good. This included freshly made corn tortillas which were delicious. Portion was extremely generous and I could only finish half of it. Took the rest back to the hotel and had it the following day. The orange lime margarita was very good as well. Very tasty with just enough tequila in it. Very generous portions. Very delicious food. Great service. What more could you ask for? Definitely give them a try!“

“Very long wait time on Taco Tuesday (dine in $1 tacos) even though there were several empty tables. Staff were seen huddling around trying to figure out table rotation/sections.
Hostess did not seem to seat quickly once tables were turned over.
Tacos were great! Worth the long wait.
A local told us about this place. Well worth stopping in when we finished our walk around the Garden District. Would be worth taking the St Charles Street car to get out side of the French quarter to try restaurants on that side of town.“

“I have been coming here for 20 years or close to it. I love the hamburgers, garbage can nachos, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, spinach and shrimp quesadillas, ribs, and recently discovered the Baja taco with salmon this summer. That’s my favorite go to meal now!!! I usually got a margarita on the rocks with dinner. But changed it up with a watermelon daiquiri with tajin on the rim. Delicious! This was one of my mom’s favorite places too. I sure miss going there with her sharing a hamburger together and having margaritas. Great neighborhood restaurant.“

“Let me get by saying this is one of the cutest little restaurants I’ve ever seen. It was really cozy. I started with the carrot and orange juice while I waited on my food and it was so delicious. The staff was super friendly and kept me company while I waited on my order. I’m at Maria the owners daughters who are super sweet, Angelica helped me with figuring out what I wanted to order, Irbiana brought the food out to me, well, Natalie and Beberlin cashed me out. “Ana amazing spot tucked away just off of Filmore. We had a super rad time. The bar happened to be celebrating a customers birthday, so there were a good amount of folks right when the bar opened. But, I have a reason to go back.“

Ordered no sour cream but it looked like it was put on food & then scraped to remove it. Flavors r very good, portions r good & food is very filling.“
