“We had whole manor to ourselves. Chef came to cook our breakfast. Room was awesome. Had separate living room/ coffee microwave area. We choose because rated a 10 and it was an 11. Three french doors from our room to veranda. Elevator, dining room , restaurant all from early 1900's.“

“So overall I love the food here. Never had a problem until today (unfortunately today was the wrong day to set me off). There are 2 condiments/toppings I can not stand and will ruin anything I eat because you can’t just wipe it off and that Sour cream and MUSTARD!!!!! I can not figure out how “Mayo, Lettuce and Ketchup ONLY” translates to MUSTARD, Lettuce and Ketchup!!!! The words Mustard and Mayo don’t even begin to sound the same except for the M. And it wasn’t a little mustard. The bun was SOAKED with it. Call them and wanted me to come back in so they could remake it while the rest of my family’s can eat theirs. I’m glad they didn’t put it on my 6yrs olds burger!!!!“

“If you're nearby, especially at the Destrehan Plantation or on the way back to New Orleans from Whitney Plantation, you must stop by and visit Amanda to get a roast beef po'boy! She is so hospitable and the sandwich was just fantastic. She, along with her patrons, are a model for southern hospitality.“

“Absolutely incredible! The staff made us feel like we were family and that we were the most important people in the world. I'm not kidding about that last statement... they were awesome! The Chef, Joe Boudreaux, was extremely personable and truly enjoyed talking about his passion, cooking. The food was fantastic... boudin egg rolls, the spicy fried oyster appetizer, the Montecristo, and the pork belly wedge were all so delicious. My advice is to take a little road trip to St. Rose and eat some of the best food and meet some incredible folks.“

“I had eaten out of this plate twice already. I always forget to take pictures before I start eating.Super delicious and affordable.My only con is they are super busy & in high demand; and my lunch I only 30 minutes so I'm always late going back even if I call in.I take my lick for this food! ? So worth it. Delicious. And I've tried multiple dishes.I'll try to add more pictures but I always forget to take them before I start eating.This is my seafood potato from Friday. I've eaten out of it twice already.it comes with shrimp or steak, potato, corn, salad. cake, and a roll @ about $14“

“I usually don't leave reviews for places, but as an outsider to Louisiana food and vibes, I was genuinely satisfied with my meal, and the cleanliness of the place. The service was real nice as well.
P.S: get Mama's Punch. You wont regret it.“
