“Excellent strength and flavor latte. I came specifically to this coffee shop for their cozy outdoor patio as it was a perfect day for being outside. Wish they’d offer more savory bites - wraps, bowls, sandwiches. All the food offerings I saw were mostly sweet - biscottis, cookies, cakes, and muffins.“

Got a mocha and it was so good, it changed my wife's mind and she wanted her own. This is the only place I have tasted a Macha that I liked.

“The guy and his wife that are always up in the front are super nice. My wife and I get this place every Saturday morning and the breakfast croissants sandwiches are our absolute favorite. I’m from originally from Lafayette and the donuts are the closest to Meche’s taste that I have ever had.“

“Can't say enough good things about this place! We came here today for my nieces 1st birthday party. Michelle & Michael were BEYOND accommodating. They helped us set up as we were running behind on time, let us borrow a million things without hesitation, and kept the party flowing! Besides the AC not being able to keep up with the Louisiana August heat, the environment was perfect for children and adults. I also did not expect to have such a GREAT cup of coffee from a children's play yard! As we were leaving the party, we were having some car trouble in the parking lot. Before they closed up, they came out to offer us cold waters & assistance! I could go on and on about Michelle & Michael's hospitality, but I recommend visiting for yourself!“

“I've been here countless times for remote work. Both the inside and outside have been newly remodeled, and the atmosphere and style is cozy and very nicely designed. They have a sick outdoor courtyard that is freshly remodeled. They also have two big communal tables inside, so if you bring a big group when it's not too busy, you may be able to get one of them. The workers here are the sweetest people, and the service has always been great. As far as coffee shop pastries go, the pastries here are some of the best, if not the best, in Baton Rouge. Their homemade pop-tarts are a MUST-ORDER ITEM.. they will change the trajectory of your life!!! Their savory food items are also homemade, but they need some tweaking. All of the savory sandwiches/panini I've tried have an element of sweetness, which is weird. I wish they were saltier and less sweet, especially for anything that has egg. The grits bowl is VERY good, but I am personally freaked out by the amount of butter they put in the grits. We all know that butter makes grits taste great, but the grits at Magpie take this way way too far. I think it would be awesome if they made them with less butter, but then add the option to get more butter on the side for people who want more.

Unfortunately it would be unfair for me to comment on their coffee because I don't even like coffee. Anyway, this place is AMAZING and I highly recommend it.“

“Spaced nicely all over the area. I’m at one of the locations 2 times a week. Too bad only 1 in 6 can give me what I ask for. A super grande vanilla latte with foam is like maybe getting a grande coffee. If you ask for no foam or froth only 1-6 can understand what that means. Not sure how else to order no froth or foam and get a super grande cup of vanilla latte.“

“Been here three times. Always get a large iced coffee and everytime the sweetness level is lower that requested. My daughter gets medium size and it's perfect. “The Cajun Burger is fantastic! Great flavor and they made it quickly. Very friendly service as well. Will definitely be back for lunch as they have a lot of things on the menu. They also many coffee options and fresh bread for sale that looked good. Highly recommend for downtown lunch/breakfast.“

“PJ’s is an inviting coffee shop just down the street from our hotel. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I came here every day during my stay in Baton Rouge for my morning vanilla latte and scone or muffin. The latte was hot and delicious with a the right amount of vanilla flavoring. The blueberry scone was excellent; I did find the muffin a bit dry. Wish there was a wider selection on the pastries. My friends and I found the café a bit chilly so we enjoyed our breakfast outside.“

They really go above and beyond and I can tell they’re working hard. This Starbucks gets really busy and they’re always working with a smile on their face. “I only ever go through the drive through but they do an espresso 22 like no other and there’s two workers who are super pleasant all the time. One is a girl with cool hair and one is a guy who calls me “love” when I pick up my coffee and really picks my mood up. Keep slaying, you two. Hope you get a raise from this or something“

“Would be five stars except they don't offer their usual iced coffees or granitas like other locations. Otherwise very friendly staff, ample seating, good hot coffees, hot New Orleans style beignets, breakfast sandwiches. Basically a five star coffee spot, just have to dock them a star on gp for not being able to serve cold or blended drinks.“

“I chose the College Drive Starbucks because it was close to a restaurant I was going to for lunch. I needed coffee real bad and wanted a nice comfortable and quiet place to work. I ordered a grande dark coffee of the day and added oat milk and one sugar in the raw. Stirred it up and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this Starbucks location for a quick stop and a great place to study, do work, or meet friends. Enjoy!“
