“I use the mobile app which avoids customer service so this review can be misleading for customer service which is terrible at most fast food these days. In the past 3 months while working in the area I have gone to this site every morning except the few times I made the mistake of going to the site Plaqemine. Its usually pretty quick to get my order. the site in Plaqemine needs new management.“

“I love this place I’m there everyday the staff and service is wonderful the only thing i suggest is turn the music down a little the lady was trying to take my order I could barely hear her and she could hardly hear me just a little turn it down a notch“

“Can't say enough good things about this place! We came here today for my nieces 1st birthday party. Michelle & Michael were BEYOND accommodating. They helped us set up as we were running behind on time, let us borrow a million things without hesitation, and kept the party flowing! Besides the AC not being able to keep up with the Louisiana August heat, the environment was perfect for children and adults. I also did not expect to have such a GREAT cup of coffee from a children's play yard! As we were leaving the party, we were having some car trouble in the parking lot. Before they closed up, they came out to offer us cold waters & assistance! I could go on and on about Michelle & Michael's hospitality, but I recommend visiting for yourself!“

“Stopped by yesterday for the first time and was surprised at how great my Brown Sugar Boba was. I have been looking for another boba shop that is as good as the one I usually go to and now I can add this one onto my list. I usually order extra boba but they gave me PLENTY. I think adding extra would have been too much. The staff was also very nice. I will definitely be back!“

“Excellent strength and flavor latte. I came specifically to this coffee shop for their cozy outdoor patio as it was a perfect day for being outside. Wish they’d offer more savory bites - wraps, bowls, sandwiches. All the food offerings I saw were mostly sweet - biscottis, cookies, cakes, and muffins.“

“I was on the road so I looked for a new place or something local, I ended up here at City Roots and I dig the vibes.
Seems great for remote work, quiet music, low noise when the roaster isn’t on.

I was greeted promptly and I ordered the Espresso Cielo. Drink was hand crafted and really tasty.

There’s inside and outside seating. Inside holds about 30 people. Free WiFi , food, and craft beer round out the menu.

The only gripe was not finding it. From the road there is a lot for the electric depot. The facade of the building just looks like an office. You have to walk around the back.“

“Spaced nicely all over the area. I’m at one of the locations 2 times a week. Too bad only 1 in 6 can give me what I ask for. A super grande vanilla latte with foam is like maybe getting a grande coffee. If you ask for no foam or froth only 1-6 can understand what that means. Not sure how else to order no froth or foam and get a super grande cup of vanilla latte.“

“PJ’s is an inviting coffee shop just down the street from our hotel. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I came here every day during my stay in Baton Rouge for my morning vanilla latte and scone or muffin. The latte was hot and delicious with a the right amount of vanilla flavoring. The blueberry scone was excellent; I did find the muffin a bit dry. Wish there was a wider selection on the pastries. My friends and I found the café a bit chilly so we enjoyed our breakfast outside.“

“We were under the weather, and it was cold out, so we ordered delivery through Door Dash. Almost shocking how quickly the order arrived. The doughnuts and Apple fritters were amazing and the presentation (see pictures) should have give that away. Order was not only quick, but done with care, 100% accurate. They are #1 on the list the next time the grands are over!“

“Fine service but please get rid of asking people for tips. This is a drive through, not a restaurant. I'm not tipping at Burger King or Wendy's or CVS. It's already a $6 cup of coffee halfway filled with ice. Why would I tip here? It seems as if they don't pay their workers enough so I have to make up the gap. And it's bad enough that it's like that at restaurants. Pay people enough that I don't have to be begged for more money than this place demands.“

“Been a long time customer of this place , never once they failed as a biz . Customer service and drinks are a plus . Shoutout to the guy Terry and Ovid who are exceptional when it comes to making drinks or handling customers . My fav place since 2017 💚💚💚“

“The person who takes the orders is very friendly. The food came out quick. The sandwich has tofu eggs, some kind of sausage and then a cream cheese sauce on really tasty bread. They also have vegan grits but I didn’t try those. They have a vegan and gf cookie, a non gf vegan cookie, and a brownie. The atmosphere is great #Veganuary“

Lex and Nya absolutely crushed it today! 🙌 From the warm smiles to the flawless drink skills, these two made my Starbucks stop way better than expected. Lex was super quick with the order and made sure everything was just right. Nya's vibe? Chill, upbeat, and totally on point. If you're lucky enough to catch them both on shift, you're in for a solid start to your day. Major props to the dream team! 👍🏻“

“Would be five stars except they don't offer their usual iced coffees or granitas like other locations. Otherwise very friendly staff, ample seating, good hot coffees, hot New Orleans style beignets, breakfast sandwiches. Basically a five star coffee spot, just have to dock them a star on gp for not being able to serve cold or blended drinks.“

“I only ever go through the drive through but they do an espresso 22 like no other and there’s two workers who are super pleasant all the time. One is a girl with cool hair and one is a guy who calls me “love” when I pick up my coffee and really picks my mood up. Keep slaying, you two. Hope you get a raise from this or something“

“Honestly they are not the quickest but they are very polite and I like how they actually utilize calling out the numbers to give your order out. However, every time I get coffee from here it’s so strong and tastes drastically different from the same coffee that I get from the CCs in the library. I still drink it though because I’m not about to waste money lol“

“Stopped at the Rouge Rabbit for a quick bite to eat on our way home from Alabama to St Louis. Excellent food, great atmosphere and super friendly people.“

“The staff members are hit or miss, but the coffee is overall good... I say that because I ran into one lady who had little knowledge about different blends of coffee, then a nice young guy that knew exactly what I was talking about when I said blended cold brew, but without the mochasippi slime. Thanks for the guy willing to interpret my needs! It turned out to be a delicious frozen coffee.“

“So there’s this lady there by the name of Cat I believe. And let me just tell you, sis is a BARISTA for real!! Some people just work at Starbucks but she’s GOT IT! I work across the street and every time I come in she greets me with a smile and gives exceptional service. & Why is everything that she recommends so good???? I hope she stays here forever. I hope she gets moved all the way up and gets to teach people her ways! & yes adding the vanilla bean was amazing!!!! Thanks again. Be back probably tomorrow!“
