“I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.“

The food is consistently really good, and the service was very nice today, too. You can't beat the price for what I paid. The location is really good. Because you don't have to go too far from the Airport, and the parking is plentiful. I would definitely recommend this place!“

The chili fries were an amazing touch, and the Fries Sauce was fantastic on the monstrous burger. The bacon slices and patty meat were each grilled to perfection. The fries were the perfect balance of crispy, thin, and chewable; absolutely beyond fantastic on that part. The chicken nuggets were quality over quantity, which is something that is VERY important. We mentioned it was our first time there, and we were given a nice surprise: a paper boat full of their famous Funnel Cake Fries! These were absolutely delicious, and a very welcoming bonus for an already great first-impression of the restaurant. I would like to additionally add that sometimes food from a restaurant or takeout place will make me feel awful or that greasy-feeling inside your intestines after digestion. This place I still feel great after eating the food, and I don’t feel that awful after-effect. That’s how you know the food is made with LOVE and not all of the processed garbages that most would prefer to use. Ben’s stands out from the rest. I drove all the way from Houma, LA just to try the burger, and let me just say that the trip was BEYOND worth it. Ben’s Burgers are a true treat and a hole-in-the wall experience. “I showed up around midnight, fresh from the airport. I asked if they were still making food, and the gentleman running the grille said they were. I got a burger with bacon and cheese and a side of fries to go. It was around 20 bucks.

The bartender was very nice. She wasnt bothered that I just wanted a glass of water while I waited for my food. She filled my glass a few times.

It was pretty quite, clean enough, had a bathroom, and they have food. What else can you ask for? Go in with these expectations, and youre sure to have a great time.

The burger was amazing! The bacon was perfect. The bun was fresh. It was cooked exactly how I ordered it, and I devoured it. The fries could use a little love, maybe some seasoning, but the burger made up for any areas the fries lacked.

Well worth the $20. They also have a deal for 2 burgers and 2 beers for 20 bucks on Fridays.

“Today is my son's 13th birthday and he's been a hothead/heat seeker for as long as I can remember. For perspective, he finally convinced Santa after 2 years to gift him the One Chip Challenge when he was 7. Today, his special request was to eat the hottest wings we could find, so my hubby found this place online last night. It's a short drive from Metairie, so although he wanted to do the Bayou Beast Challenge, we only had time to get a to-go order with all the other birthday errands we were running. We got a 6 piece of the Bayou Beast flavored wings. The gentleman checking us out was an absolute stand up guy who was equal parts concerned and impressed when he realized the order wasn't for me, but for the short kid standing next to me who told him he didn't want or need a dipping sauce. He even offered him a birthday coke (probably as a piece offering to the gods as an apology for what was going to transpire in my bathroom later🤣). Now to the fun part. I normally do these challenges with him, but today he wanted to fly solo. So I prepped the counter for him as usual with milk, yogurt, wipes etc. When I opened the box? YALL! The smell burned my eyes and instantly gave me PTSD from when I ate Da Bomb wing in the Hot Wings Challenge last year. My newly minted teenager the proceeded to smash all 6 in 5 minutes and did it like a pro without even a sip of water. I managed to get a single bite before they disappeared and I can guarantee you, the bathroom will be your sanctuary. I would not survive more than 2 as a grown adult. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment. Maybe he's a mutant. But what I do know is my dude is determined to beat that challenge and get that shirt and picture on the wall, so we'll be back very soon!“
