“Best Burger I've had in a long time, you know that mouth watery feeling when you take bite and all the flavor hits your tongue and you just lean your head back and go ummmm, thats what that burger did to me and i just got an original single add bacon and was delicious. When i travel i like to find the best burger joint in town and I think i found my favorite! “I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.“

“The strawberry milkshake was good! I was a little worried I wasn’t going to like the Brussels sprouts, but I actually ended up really enjoying them!

We originally wanted to dine in, but we walked in around 10:10 thinking we’d still be able to sit and eat and we had just come in from out of town. Most of the tables were already put up and the lights were dimmed, so it felt like they were closing, and we kind of felt like we had to take it to go.

The cookie was good, but it wasn’t warm—we had to go back in and ask about a fork for the Brussel Sprouts. The queso on the fries was AMAZING though! Burger was amazing too!! The fries themselves were decent, but the queso really made them stand out. Wait time was very short and service was great!

Overall, Definitely coming back to try more stuff!“

“The waiter who served us was an older gentleman, and he was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. He talked with us, shared his story, and made the experience truly enjoyable. The food is excellent, one dish is enough for two people because the portions are very large. Everything was outstanding. The atmosphere is very calm, with music and a pool table. I give it a 100/10. “Phenomenal food and even better service. The food is like the rich comfort food of old school hunting club restaurants but elevated/updated and more chic. The beef Wellington was excellent. The hostess, bartender and Chris, our server were all wonderful- we felt so taken care of and both the bartender and our server had a very extensive knowledge of the drink and food menu and helped us find exactly what we were in the mood for. Atmosphere was really fun and cozy too. Be sure to stop by the lux totally mirrored bathroom in the back. HIGHLY recommend.“

The chili fries were an amazing touch, and the Fries Sauce was fantastic on the monstrous burger. The bacon slices and patty meat were each grilled to perfection. The fries were the perfect balance of crispy, thin, and chewable; absolutely beyond fantastic on that part. The chicken nuggets were quality over quantity, which is something that is VERY important. We mentioned it was our first time there, and we were given a nice surprise: a paper boat full of their famous Funnel Cake Fries! These were absolutely delicious, and a very welcoming bonus for an already great first-impression of the restaurant. I would like to additionally add that sometimes food from a restaurant or takeout place will make me feel awful or that greasy-feeling inside your intestines after digestion. This place I still feel great after eating the food, and I don’t feel that awful after-effect. That’s how you know the food is made with LOVE and not all of the processed garbages that most would prefer to use. Ben’s stands out from the rest. “Today is my son's 13th birthday and he's been a hothead/heat seeker for as long as I can remember. For perspective, he finally convinced Santa after 2 years to gift him the One Chip Challenge when he was 7. Today, his special request was to eat the hottest wings we could find, so my hubby found this place online last night. It's a short drive from Metairie, so although he wanted to do the Bayou Beast Challenge, we only had time to get a to-go order with all the other birthday errands we were running. We got a 6 piece of the Bayou Beast flavored wings. The gentleman checking us out was an absolute stand up guy who was equal parts concerned and impressed when he realized the order wasn't for me, but for the short kid standing next to me who told him he didn't want or need a dipping sauce. He even offered him a birthday coke (probably as a piece offering to the gods as an apology for what was going to transpire in my bathroom later🤣). Now to the fun part. I normally do these challenges with him, but today he wanted to fly solo. So I prepped the counter for him as usual with milk, yogurt, wipes etc. When I opened the box? YALL! The smell burned my eyes and instantly gave me PTSD from when I ate Da Bomb wing in the Hot Wings Challenge last year. My newly minted teenager the proceeded to smash all 6 in 5 minutes and did it like a pro without even a sip of water. I managed to get a single bite before they disappeared and I can guarantee you, the bathroom will be your sanctuary. I would not survive more than 2 as a grown adult. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment. Maybe he's a mutant. But what I do know is my dude is determined to beat that challenge and get that shirt and picture on the wall, so we'll be back very soon!“

It was such a memorable experience. I just remember having some beers and eating some delicious chicken wings and always coming here on a regular basis. I’m 69 years old.
