“They had a special menu advertised for Mother's Day. However, for such a special occasion, they did not plan for staff/server absences. Many tables were not being used on the patio area, because they were short of servers. This was poor planning. To take your Mother or anyone for such an occasion and endure a 3+ hour wait is unacceptable.”

“The oyster bar on the banks of Bayou Sarah, near the Mississippi River just outside the town of St. Francisville is one of my favorite places to socialize and have a drink, or food. The food varies between food trucks or different dishes prepared by the bar. The staff is wonderful and prices aren't outside the usual for the area. They have a wonderful outdoor patio overlooking Bayou Sarah. They normally have live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Wednesday they normally do bingo which always has a good turn out! They also babe a pool table inside.”

“The best burger in the whole town is right here at the Myrtles Plantation - The Carriage House! The restaurant is nice and a lil ghostly encounter is always a slight possibility. Additionally, the villas are designed for a special get away weekend. You will love it!”

“Strongly recommend this place. Walked in with a friendly smile from Nakiya and was seated promptly. Maribel brought chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. First night Emily served us and the second night Amber served us . Both of them had a great personality. The food was excellent and served quickly. Oh and the margaritas are great also.”
