“They had a special menu advertised for Mother's Day. However, for such a special occasion, they did not plan for staff/server absences. Many tables were not being used on the patio area, because they were short of servers. This was poor planning. To take your Mother or anyone for such an occasion and endure a 3+ hour wait is unacceptable.”

“**review update. Changing atmosphere from 5 to 4-- last few times I have been, they served food on styrofoam. I do not like eating on styrofoam. Please use regular plates. At least they gave me real utensils. ** Wonderful locally owned, home-cooking cafe, and open on Mondays when some places are closed. Weekly specials. Love the meatloaf, but the mashed potatoes taste like instant, bleh but edible. Breakfast all day is great. Staff are so nice and welcoming. I've been about 3 or 4 times. Just wish mashed potatoes were from scratch.”

“I was surprised that there Google reviews were not better. We chose mainly for convenience, but the food was delicious and large portions. Chips and salsa were excellent. grilled chicken tacos al carbon i would highly recommend.”

“The oyster bar on the banks of Bayou Sarah, near the Mississippi River just outside the town of St. Francisville is one of my favorite places to socialize and have a drink, or food. The food varies between food trucks or different dishes prepared by the bar. The staff is wonderful and prices aren't outside the usual for the area. They have a wonderful outdoor patio overlooking Bayou Sarah. They normally have live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Wednesday they normally do bingo which always has a good turn out! They also babe a pool table inside.”
