“Got there during their happy hour got margaritas for $5. The restaurant is gorgeous, they are really in tuned with their customers habits. I ordered the Big Back Burrito, and was surprised that it wasn't wrapped. I was told that most customers eat it with cutlery, but glad that staff gave me another tortilla to wrap it. Overall the burrito was sooo good hoooly, if I were to come back I would ask if they could wrap it.

“Mis Padres is easily one of my go-to spots — I probably eat here twice a week.
The fajitas are amazing and always come out sizzling and full of flavor. Their bean dip and salsa are to die for, seriously some of the best around. I also highly recommend the steak bowl — it’s absolutely delicious and super satisfying.
On top of the great food, the servers are always so nice and friendly, which makes the experience even better every time I go.
If you’re looking for great Mexican food with awesome service, Mis Padres is definitely the spot. 🌮🔥“

“OMG BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN BATON ROUGE!!! the restaurant was very clean and the service was FAST, helpful, and attentive. please consider changing your life and coming eat the tacos here. i ordered the steak, pastor and barbacoa tacos and they were so flavorful and the meats juicy. i found God in el limon. I LOVE EL LIMON MEXICAN RESTAURANT!!

“What a little treasure!! The cafe is small, well designed, warm and welcoming. A large coffee bar is complimented by two bakery cases and an ice cream case. The menu has photos for those who aren't familiar with the language. Our waiter was super kind and helpful in helping us decide what to order. Everything was very fresh and delicious. I finished the meal with a piece of pineapple upside down cake!! Delicious!!!“

It was really slow arpund 1pm during heavy rain. I dont know why, place is reslly good. Parking could be an issue i guess, but ill definitely be back in the near future. So far its the best mexican restaurant ive been to around here, and I the location is cool with the downtown vibes. Maybe ill try something else like a fajitas or something with a bit more food in the plate. But I ate 3 chip baskets and like 3 or 4 salsa. So good“

“The BEST Izzo’s location hands down. I travel amongst New Orleans to new Baton Rouge often and make this stop frequently. The evening staff, and management is top tier. They go above and beyond and the food always tastes fantastic. I recommend every time! (Shout out to the team on 8/19!!)“

“Great food, cold beer and nice atmosphere. Birria tacos are top notch. New owner is nice and will make sure you are taken care of.6/9/23Ordered 2 carne asada tacos and 2 shrimp tacos. Asada was great as usual but shrimp was not. I questioned if shrimp was cooked and they felt cheap and flavorless. I’ve had much better from here in the past. Still a great place to eat though.“

“First off, I would like to say it is amazing they are open on Mondays; some Mondays while at work I crave tacos and the 2 I'd go to are closed Mondays. I swear it's always the food trucks in the most random spots that taste SO GOOOOD. I got the barbacoa burrito and it was so tender and juicy and ohmygoodness I can't wait for work next Monday just to go to this truck hahaha. GIVE THIS SPOT A SHOT !!! the lady in the truck was so sweet and I'm so glad it's nearby my job !!! Wish I found this gem sooner.“

“I have personally been waited on by manual several times and never was I treated anyway like this also many of my friends ask for him when they go and all rave about him. “I really like this place the atmosphere that reminds me of any Firehouse subs or Subway you know it's just kind of normal but they have a rewards program actually is probably one of the better ones because I spend quite a bit there and and you get rewarded points regardless of where you purchased your food like if you purchase it there or online“

“Great food and efficient service.However, the sink in the men’s restroom is maddening. The sensor often fails to detect that you have placed your hands under the faucet and require water to be released from the spigot. Instead, you have to play a game of waving and flailing your hands under the faucet and all around the sink to be granted water. Once you become successfully awarded with water, you’re sprayed a fast, furious rush of only 2 seconds’ worth of water. The sink in the men’s restroom in the adjoining Lit Pizza has the same problematic faucet.“
