I've rarely been out and about since the stay-at-home order, but today, I ventured out and after my errand, I stopped at Church's, on June 7, 2020, about 5:30 pm. I want to thank the very pleasant young man working the drive-thru window. His greeting and persona are outstanding. I regret I don't know his name, but he made our pick up a great one. Thank you!

Church's Texas Chicken is a restaurant known for its fried okra, which unfortunately, has been overcooked on two previous visits, crumbling in fingers like potato chips. Prices are decent, but the menu has changed, and the location no longer accepts coupons or survey discounts. Despite this, the friendly manager, Roy, creates a lively atmosphere, with a staff that appears to enjoy their work, making it a pleasant dining experience.
