“My Wita (abuelita) told me about this place dozens of times, and how much she loved it there. The staff knew her by name and they welcomed us like her family was their family, these are truly amazing people. The food itself was fantastic, my dad ordered their frijoles charros (something he's been unable to find anywhere else?), and it was perfect.“

“Minden location ❤️ HUGE shout out to one of our favorite local restaurants in Minden! I placed an order for pickup this evening with the impression that Sean would be back in time with our vehicle to pick it up before closing. As luck would have it, he got held up and wasn't going to be able to make it back in time. So I called the restaurant, in a panic 🥴, 10 minutes before closing and asked if I could pay someone to bring it to our shop which is about 1 mile away. Without hesitation, they said one of their workers would! A few minutes later, Michael (one of their waiters) showed up with a HUGE smile on his face and delivered our food! I seriously CANNOT express how grateful I am for the kindness of this business and their waiter who took the time to make sure I received our food after a long busy day for everyone. Folks, THIS is one of the BEST examples of what customer service and amazing hospitality is. Instead of choosing to say "tough luck, hate it for ya", they chose to go above and beyond by saying, "don't stress, we've got you!" We need more businesses like this. We need to support LOCAL more than we do. These businesses depend on us keeping it local. I can promise you that El Jimadore will continue to have our lifelong business and I will make sure to always ask for Michael when he's available. Please support our local businesses in Minden and definitely go see Michael at El Jimadore! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“

“This was a great place to have our 50th wedding anniversary meal! The food was excellent, the owner, manager, and waiter were great. Enjoyed the experience and will plan to come back. The shrimp was my favorite, but the steak and chicken were great too! Would give it 5 stars!“
“I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s amazing from the service to the food! My husband and I went today for lunch looking for options to spend our anniversary and we decided to try a new place so we went to sky grill and it did not disappoint!! We had the loaded Mac and cheese and I think it’s one of the best we’ve ever tried, I had the patty melt and I’m still thinking about the piece I didn’t finish!! Owners are there and you can feel the great energy of their staff!!! If you have kids it’s a great spot. you get to see the planes take off and land which your kids will love. We definitely will be back!!!“
