“Maggy was our server and she was SO welcoming and gave us exceptional service! She offered GREAT suggestions from food to beer and even gave my little ones some duck food to feed the ducks. The food was amazing and the beer selection was great! The atmosphere was very laid back and personable! It was super busy but that didn't stop the food coming out hot and quick and the service being speedy! Well done and we can't wait to come back and enjoy ourselves again. “I'll start by saying I don't frivolously throw around 5 star reviews. I just use Yelp and take the advice of friends. Our friends are hosting a big event this October at Don's and we decided to check it out early since we were in town. So thankful we did! This place does seafood right! For appetizers hubby had the gator tail half fried and half grilled. We also shared the spinach dip with crabmeat. It came with tortilla chips but our waitress recommended we try it with their bread and it was delicious. Hubby loved the gator both fried and grilled equally. For our entrees we both had the fried catfish and red beans & rice! Everything was seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of kick.. no additional seasoning required.. near the end of the meal we took bread pudding to go and enjoyed it over the next few days. The portion sizes were abundant and we ate so much we almost had to be rolled out of there! Looking forward to our next visit! Our waitress was bubbly and accommodating! She checked on us frequently and made great recommendations! You'll love the interior booths surrounding the bar where we could see oysters set afire on the grill. It gave the place such a pleasant aroma! We live in Florida but we're making plans to stop by before the event in October! “I'm a BBQ guy.its what I do when I'm not driving my trk.this place may look like a little shack but the food is amazing.i got the Friday special that included 2 meats,two sides.i went chicken leg quarter with 3 ribs.it came with two sides which I opted for Cole slaw,and Mac and cheese.everything was flavorful and delicious. Didn't even need to add salt,or pepper to the sides.worth every penny.“

“We went on a Thursday and my wife got the special. She said the chicken was dry but the sides were amazing. I got the Boudin Balls with pepper jack cheese. They were great. 10/10 We split an order of mini crawfish pies 8/10. The crawfish eggroll was ok. 7/10 but wouldn't get again. My daughter got the pulled pork poboy and it was 9/10. She enjoyed it.“

“We had a great time here! It was pretty busy for a Saturday night but our server was awesome. We got smoked chicken egg rolls for an app. Loved them. Shrimp quesadilla, Wings, French onion soup and brisket po boy for dinner. Wings are smoked on the grill. Loved them. Soup was good. We wish the po boy had more meat and the quesadilla was a a little salty but other than that all good. Salty girl drink was refreshing as well as their michelda. We will be back!“

“Waffle house is a staple. How can one say they've lived if they've never had some waffle house cuisine. The staff are always a breed of folks you just can't find elsewhere. To this day, I am amazed at how the cook manages to understand and remember all the things called out! I can't say I have ever had a bad experience at any waffle house I have ever been to, no matter where it was located, but I can say I have always been completely full and satisfied. I usually always get the All Star. Rarely have I ever been able to finish it all.“

Will definitely be back to try some of the other brunch menu items, opted for the Kickin' Chicken Biscuit with the poached egg this time. “I love this restaurant. My family and I had the best server. She worked the bar, made drinks and also took care of multiple tables. I had the pork ribeye. Absolutely the best I had ever tasted in any country. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Casual dress, but it looks like it should be semi-formal. The prices are a little higher than normal but worth the dining experience.“
