“Stop in to get takeout from one of the pop up restaurants that I follow on social media! I was very impressed with the beer garden. Grabbed some to-go beers and a pretzel 🥨. The staff were helpful and just frickin cool! Not to mention the beer garden atmosphere was warm and welcoming! Definitely worth the stop, and I look forward to going back with the family.“

“The first thing you notice is the quirky decor & immediately feel at home. The second is the excellent customer service, southern hospitality at its finest. I ordered the crab cakes with poached eggs on top. I will never eat a crab cake anywhere BUT here. Their food was delectable and by far the BEST food I’ve had while in NOLA. Our server gave great free entertainment advice for us tourists and was highly attentive. All this to say, don’t come to NOLA & miss out on Elizabeth’s. They are a MUST experience.“

“Stella Maris is one of the best spots in the parish. They have a large menu that fuses flavors of the Mediterranean to accommodate all tastes and diets. My favorite is their gyro plate with hummus that is enough food for an entree that it can be shared or enjoyed again with leftovers. In addition to the restaurant, they have a grocery store with all sorts of tea, coffee, candies, and other items from the region plus a hookah lounge. Follow their page to learn the daily specials where some of their best entrees can be enjoyed quite cheaply!“

“We dined in and upon first entering, you can tell the place is kept extremely clean and well maintained! The employees/manager welcomed us with a genuine smile and warmth. The menu is well-designed for simplicity and ease of use. I ate the shrimp platter and my wife had the chicken platter. Both came with a salad, hummus, rice, and pita bread. Neither of us got the hummus, but we both received extra salad. The plates were delivered to our table quickly, and hot! The shrimp platter had AMAZING flavor, not overbearing and not too typical of seafood - just perfect! The rice is to die for, and was probably my favorite part of the dish, which says wonders because I absolutely love my seafood! The salad was simple, yet tasty and crisp. My wife loved the chicken platter in its entirety! All-in-all, I'd give them a 4.9, but only due to them offering drinks in 12oz cans instead of out of the fountain, but its able to be overlooked for the overall experience.“

“Found this little gem and it is now one of my favorite places! My daughter and I rarely go to one place for a full meal and opt to choose a place for apps, main course and dessert. We arrived around 12 and ordered spring rolls and brisket steamed buns… when I tell you this is the best I have had of both and we have had our share of bao and spring rolls!!!
The brisket was mouth watering tender with this sweet perfection of sauce, the buns PERFECTLY steamed and the spring rolls were rolled to perfection with the best peanut sauce. We got it to go, but it looked so amazing we didn’t make it out of the door. Their Thai tea was also some of the best I have ever had! Honestly the place was so good we came back that evening for the same thing!! Give this place a try, the service was top tier and it’s definitely my new go to!“

“The BEST BOILED CRAWFISH . Always HOT & FRESH .
If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is an absolute must-visit! It’s about 10 minutes from the city. From the moment pulling up , you can smell the seasoning from the seafood. It’s edible for everyone when it comes to spices . If you like it really spicy ask for some spicy sauce.

The shrimp boil was packed with juicy shrimp, corn, and potatoes, all cooked to perfection and I added in that mouthwatering buttery garlic sauce with some spicy sauce!! 10 out of 10. My absolute favorite, though, was the crawfish though —JUICY , SEASONED , and so fresh it practically melt in my mouth. I brag to EVERYONE about the CRAWFISH.

The service was top-notch, too. Wally at the front counter was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, even offering great recommendations for pairings.

What really impressed me was the balance between quality and value. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and every bite felt like a treat.

Wife got what she ordered and I got a drumstick 🍗 and a back, completely opposite of what I ordered. Upon going back to the register the manager asked what was wrong and I explained what was wrong and said immediately corrected the problem. Kudos to the manager.
