“I thought the Turkish coffee and tea here was quite good, and we enjoyed the baklava as well. I got an iced chocolate, which was decent.

There are several board games, including a Rummikub table (fully occupied by a group during our visit) and backgammon.

It's an interesting place, and seems like a fun place to hang out and play games.“

I recommend their lattes, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches (the cheddar cheese is SHARP), and chia pudding. Their lunch sandwiches are also great. 10/10 for staff, vibes, food, and coffee.“

“This is a great little coffee shop with good coffee and great vibes. There is a good amount of seating available despite the small space with a few bar stools. Both baristas were very friendly and helpful to myself and another international customer. They gave both of different ideas for places to visit and see while we were in town. Thai Tea Cake: The Thai milk tea flavor is balanced and delicate. The cake itself is soft yet slightly coarse, and the cream is smooth and creamy. It's very pleasant to eat.

Ube Latte: It tastes like the ube milk tea or ube ice cream cones I used to eat as a child, but it's not as sweet, and you can taste the good quality milk.“

Just a hop in from right off the main streets, they had a really nice selection of coffee, teas, pastries, soups, salads, etc. It’s very cozy inside with tables, chairs and low lighting. It was decently quiet inside, and the staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. We got two pistachio lattes and they were incredibly good. Not too heavy on flavoring and they didn’t taste artificial. Overall, a nice stop for a bite and drink.“

It’s totally a neighborhood favorite but I don’t hear enough non-Somerville people talking about Basma!!!! “Here from Chicago on a rainy Sunday morning. Looking for a breakfast place near our hotel. Saw this online and was 5 minute walk so we headed over. Surprisingly great coffee is always a good start. The food was delicious! Pancakes were thick, light and fluffy. Good sausage and eggs. Service was very attentive- seemed to be a family run place. Highly recommend!“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“

“We were on a trip and found this Cafe during our walk through the historic places in Boston. It offers delicious pastries, various breakfast sandwiches and lots of options for coffee and tea. Their orange juice is spectacular and the closest one to a real orange juice I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining area is a little small for the number of the customers but there are also chairs and tables outside. The Croissant breakfast sandwich and the Honey Halva Latte we had were so delicious. I like the fact that I saw the coffee being percolated for the iced coffee. The sandwiches are the winner. The crunchy bread, the peppers, the cheese and meat, it’s overall a well made sandwich that rings true to the name of the cafe, rustic French vibes. The staff have always been friendly when I’ve visited. It’s a cute cafe and the sandwiches and iced cafe are great at a good price.“

They have a large selection of fresh bagels that you can customize however you like, whether you want a simple spread or a full sandwich. They also have muffins, cookies, chips, bottled drinks, and a great selection of hot or iced coffee with different flavors.

I ordered an onion bagel with lox cream cheese, and it was absolutely delicious and so fresh! The bagel had the perfect crunch on the outside while still being soft and chewy on the inside, and there was just the right amount of cream cheese.

Whether you want to sit down and enjoy your breakfast or grab something quick to take on the go, Cafe Fresh is a great choice. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!“
