“Taco Bell in general and this location in particular are one of the few still doing justice to the promise of fast food. It's fast, cheap, of decent quality, and consistently so. Open late, even.

Two Bean and cheese burritos for about $5 is hard to beat - slices cost about the same, but don't keep me going as long, and most places I could go, ignoring price, wouldn't have it ready fast enough for it to be a good before work meal.

Dining area and bathroom are consistently clean, though not always spotless, and all the basic consumables like sauces, lids, and napkins are well-stocked every time I've gone.

It's a Taco Bell, at the end of the day. Don't expect luxury dining or mind-blowing culinary experiences, but do expect the exact right set of trade-offs to keep hungry working people fed well at a price they can afford.“

“Rating McDonald's is squarely a measure amongst other mcdonalds. This one is definitely in the top 5th percentile of McDonald's, definitely come to this one of you're craving McDonald's! I come here for two mcdoubles with extra mustard, pickles, and onions. Never get my order wrong ever! “Very flavorful sandwiches and salads. I had the chicken pita, my family members had the vege chikn hummus dip with pita, and the falafel sandwich. All of which were delicious and full of flavor. Very friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. Will definitely be back if I come back to Boston. Very small inside with only a couple tables so be mindful of party size if trying to sit. “My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!“

“I was in Boston for a day and needed something to eat to hold me down for a few hours. I found this place inside a whole foods. It was weird. Nobody was there to take my order. I thought it was closed, but the hours stated it was open. I noticed the option of placing my order online via a QR code. So I did. 10 minutes later my food arrived. For the record, it was 1 BBQ burger. It looked like something you'd get at McDonald's. And tasted like the Rodeo Cheeseburger at Burger King. Actually brought back lots of memories from my childhood. Really good in a junk food kind of way. The menu actually had lots of options, all fast food inspired. I would love to go back and try it all. A bit pricy tho. “Had Amelia Cluck & Smash near Northeastern last week and I can confidently say I’ve entered my chicken sandwich era.

The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was easily the star of the meal. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and balanced with that sweet-and-spicy combo that just works. Honestly, no complaints there — a true 10/10 sandwich.

We also tried the smash burger, tacos, and churros. Everything was solid, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a quick comfort-food stop. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely hits the craving.

This spot really shines for what it is: a classic grab-and-go place. Quick, convenient, and great when you want something indulgent without committing to a full sit-down experience.

“Solid spot for a quick Vietnamese meal.

Been here a few times for breakfast. It’s one of the few Asian spots around that opens at 7 a.m. daily. The menu isn’t as expansive as some of the more popular Vietnamese restaurants in Dorchester, but they do offer a handful of pre-packaged items like spring rolls and sticky rice.

I usually came in around opening when the sticky rice was still warm, and the version topped with chicken sausage and pork was quite good. Portions were smaller than what you’d get at some other Vietnamese spots, but the flavor was better. I also tried the bánh khọt (shrimp pancakes) and the grilled pork combo rice plate. Both solid, but not particularly memorable.

My main issue was the pricing. Since prices aren’t listed on the overhead menu, items were rung up as “custom” at the register. Without an itemized receipt, it was hard to tell whether I was being charged correctly, and the total felt a bit high for a place like this. I’d recommend paying cash or asking for a menu with prices to avoid any surprises.“
