“Taco Bell in general and this location in particular are one of the few still doing justice to the promise of fast food. It's fast, cheap, of decent quality, and consistently so. Open late, even.

Two Bean and cheese burritos for about $5 is hard to beat - slices cost about the same, but don't keep me going as long, and most places I could go, ignoring price, wouldn't have it ready fast enough for it to be a good before work meal.

Dining area and bathroom are consistently clean, though not always spotless, and all the basic consumables like sauces, lids, and napkins are well-stocked every time I've gone.

It's a Taco Bell, at the end of the day. Don't expect luxury dining or mind-blowing culinary experiences, but do expect the exact right set of trade-offs to keep hungry working people fed well at a price they can afford.“

Went around late lunch so the venue was mostly empty and service was fast.
My chips and guacamole were the highlight. I could the beef birria taco to be dry (it shouldn’t be at $6.99).
Everything was slightly overpriced but one of those situations where it’s because of the decor and not so much the food you’re eating.“

WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.“

“It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! 🌮✨ We had enchiladas and horchata, and everything was delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is beyond amazing. The staff is so kind, friendly, and attentive.

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“It's definitely on the more expensive side of Mexican food throughout the Boston area. Nevertheless service had no faults, and the food was incredible. The Birria Tacos and Nachos are a must-try. Also, there wasn't a wait for my table but if you come at six or seven, there will probably be a wait.“

“Landed in Boston around breakfast time. Searched for a spot to have breakfast before heading out of town. This place was nice and cozy. Staff were very friendly. I had the Huevos Rancheros with Chorizo with spicy green sauce. I enjoyed the meal.

“Great experience this past weekend. It was a busy Saturday night. We ate at the bar which it seems like lots of locals do that. Plenty of space at the bar to eat. Bartender was great. Drinks were epic. Food was so good! Will definitely come back. Thank you to the hostess for fitting us in. She was a doll.“

“La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy! “Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

Great service here and we had a fabulous evening. Five stars!“

The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.“
