“This is a top notch brunch buffet. They have tables set up for: fruit, salad, breakfast, entrees, bread, and dessert. Everything I tried was tasty and fresh. They had pork loin, prime rib and chicken for meat choices. The staff was warm, friendly and quick to top off our water and coffee. There is also a pay as you go bar. “Ok, you want a great burger? Be prepared to take a bath afterwards. And that's not a bad thing. I had the juiciest, most tasteful burger I've had in ages. I regret I didn't take a picture, but when I took the first bite, I didn't stop. Had the special maple bacon cheese burger. Our waiter was great, upbeat and personable, and the place is clean! The only thing I have a problem with is the loudness, but it's a bar and grille. It's what you'd expect. Won't stop me from visiting again!“

“My wife and I stopped here on the way home from an errand and were glad we did. We loved everything about this restaurant. My wife had the Corsair Grilled Quesadillas with bacon which she loved. I had the Loaded Piper Cub roast beef sandwich and it was awesome. Large servings and the home made onion rings are well worth the couple extra bucks for a side. The only problem for us is that this place is a little too far away from our house to visit too regularly, but we will definitely be back.“

“Great spot to grab some Polish food while also staying true to its Fall River roots. Has a bar and a large seating area with a homey vibe. Their menu is focused on pierogi (some authentic and some more Americanized), but also features other Polish dishes like golabki, kielbasa, and kapusta. They have several sample plates on the menu where you can mix and match. I got an international pierogi sampler, most of them were fantastic and while I was less impressed with some, particularly the French one, they were all good. We also had their cookie dough pierogi for dessert, they were very rich and delicious. In addition to the food, they also have some Polish beers along with the usual options you'll find in the area. Service was great, Patti came out to check on how our meal was. Prices are also reasonable, and they allow mixing and matching with the pierogi so you can sample a lot for a reasonable price. Definitely a unique spot that's worth a try!“

“Oh yeah, I recommend the Grove Street Tavern. The two bar pizzas we ordered were incredible. Came out of the oven piping hot. Talking about anticipation, eh? The steam coming off the pizza brought a cacophony of scents to my head. Ground chourice and red pepper. Nice crust that held up well to the toppings. My bud ordered a mushroom and green pepper pie. We reluctantly shared. The veggies and cheese combo with that crust was insane. The sauce was just enough for my liking. The beverage list was a hit when I saw one of my top brews, a Fiddlehead IPA brewed in Vermont. Ordered one up. I also tried a local brew, but this essay is not a beverage review, but i know what satisfies me. Can this joint get any better? Friendly and efficient hosts answering your questions, taking your orders, getting your drinks. Small business where the customer is both treated well and fed well. I know that I only had a pizza, but that is what I came here for. Maybe I'll try another menu item on my next visit, maybe not. Looks small from the parking lot but very qwell laid out inside. Clean and comfortable bar. Adequate space to move around. I suggest that you check it out for yourself. I might see you there because I will be back to GST. “Some of the best comfort food you will ever find. My dad knew about the Dog House when it was in Weld Square in the 60’s and our family has been loyal customers ever since. Do yourself a favor and get a grilled steak sandwich with cheese and onions when they have them because they run out, they run out. While their burgers are fresh ( and not frozen ) and a million times better than the fast food places, don’t look past their full blown dinners like fresh scallop plates, French meat pie and fish and chips. Lunch counters like this are few and far between with plenty of free parking across the street.“

“Our first time trying this restaurant and we were not disappointed. It was early in the morning so not crowded at all but even if it was the dining room is spacious and inviting. Our server was friendly and helpful explaining the menu. My wife chose the traditional eggs Benedict which she never had before and loved it. I went with the 3 eggs, home fries, and toast with a side of chourico. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. To top it off the price was great.“

However, when we went in just yesterday, we saw that they accepted cards as well. The server was friendly, and the service was quick, which was exactly what we were looking for. The other picture is of the Portuguese hash omelette, which was well enjoyed by my partner. They have a drive thru which is surprising but incredibly convenient because I'm usually just picking up food for me and my husband after work or something. “Went here on a Thursday for dinner and a beer after work and the place was amazing. Everyone was so nice and I felt like Ive been going here forever. The food came out quick and was so flavorful! The chicken mozambique plate was so good and had a little kick of spice to it. They also had music bingo night at the bar side and everyone was singing along it was such a vibe. They have music bingo every other Thursday. I absolutely recommend here if youre looking for somethkng casual and trying to chill. “I can't say I've ever eaten any food at Frates so please take this review as a review of the ice cream and setting only. As I am new to the area, this was my first visit to Frates and it was charming in a way that walk-up New England ice cream shops are. There is an Elvis statue inside and fun music playing. The ice cream is well-priced and deeee-licious! I got an M&M Nor'easter which was great. The ice cream is very creamy and the amount of M&Ms was perfect. Others in my party got ice cream cones, sundaes, and a cup of ice cream. Not a single complaint and not a drop of ice cream left before we headed home. Since it is still chilly out there is a nice heated tent area with tables to sit and enjoy. As the weather warms I imagine sitting outside with that ice cream dripping will bring the nostalgia of long past summer days in New England come rushing back. I can't wait to return back to Frates again and again! (And next time take pics before we gobble our ice cream up! )“
