“My husband and I just had our wedding at J. Anthony's. For such a large and lovely space, they could not be more reasonably priced and easy to work with. The high ceilings and that wall of windows are really a wow factor. They are currently making updates to the event space, so I can only imagine that future events will be even more fabulous. Any time I interacted with staff leading up to the event, they were so upbeat and enthusiastic. Being pleasant is obviously a part of working in the restaurant industry, but everyone always felt genuinely excited for us, which made us even more excited as the big day drew near.

We live nearby, so we already knew that they had wonderful food. We got compliments from guests on all of it, but the most talked-about items were the beef and the stuffed shells. So many people told me they regretted not requesting more stuffed shells. They really were amazing; I could have eaten an entire plate of them! A dessert was included in our package -- we chose apple crisp and it was delicious. But we also brought in apple cider donuts from a local orchard. Abbey (the event manager) was super accommodating. We just dropped them off in the morning and then arrangements of donuts on beautiful gold chargers were placed at each table during the evening.

One other point of note was how lovely the event staff was! My husband and I had multiple guests comment to us throughout the evening about the wonderful service staff. I can't imagine that is something typically noticed or commented upon at a large event, so it just highlights how personable and accommodating they all were. I was able to chat with some of the servers toward the end of the evening and they were all so kind and complimentary, it made my night even more special.“

“My first visit was today. I ordered the veal parm pasta dinner and a side of toasted ravioli. Omg! Delicious. Called in the order for pick up. The place was hopping, service excellent and great vibe. I definitely will be coming back“

“Dinner on Wednesday, chicken special was amazing. Dinner Thursday was the antipasto and pizza special! Best pizza I have had in awhile. The cheese was delicious and we ordered the Mama pizza, ricotta, eggplant, cheese, and meatball. We asked they add red sauce and they did. Both of us enjoyed it. Waitstaff both night were there every time you finished something, polite, attentive and it was a pleasure to see quick service. After COVID most restaurants don’t have enough help, not here, no waiting at all. Food was a 10 out of 10!!“

“We've been going to Via since they opened. The recent menu changes were disappointing. Our favorite menu items were gone. The Fonduta of Italian cheeses and the veal scallopine are no longer offered and the short ribs, although still very good, are served with tortellini now, which I don't think is an improvement. Also notable is the servers at the Worcester restaurant group restaurants all seem to be new and the team serving dynamic is not as it used to be, either. We were told that there is a new head Chef, but rather than adding new menu items, they seem to have just removed some of the best ones.“

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner/welcome party upstairs at Nuovo in August of 2022 which included almost 100 people. We could not be happier with our choice!!! The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are so hard-working and friendly. The owners are phenomenal and genuinely care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We discussed our vision for the evening with Loreta in advance and she sure did help us achieve it. We had our own bar and servers, as well as a solo live singer we hired who they were easily able to accommodate. Loreta was incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, and patient. My family and I have also had dinner here and we just can’t say enough about how wonderful our several experiences have been. We will absolutely make the trip to Worcester to go back. Huge thanks to Loreta and all the other amazing staff for helping us create beautiful memories. We would HIGHLY recommend Nuovo to anyone!!“

“I visited here December 4, 2023. I had a delicious scallop and haddock mix over fettacchini with a spicy sauce that was to rave about. Not sure when I will get to Worcester, MA again but I will definitely visit La Cuchina. As a bonus, my server was a gentle soul, Michael. Extremely attentive and generous with his time and suggestions. “We always love going there. Some of the reviews I have read seem biased. I do not want my server to be engaging. That’s not professional. I want my server to serve me in a professional manner there’s a big difference. Also someone wrote it’s dark and dingy. That’s what we love. But we call it atmospheric and romantic. Bartenders are always excellent. Service never has been poor. The food was always tasty. Portions are large. They run 3 course specials that are fun if you have an appetite. It’s not a kid friendly place. Although they are not rude to kids the kids probably wouldn’t enjoy it. It’s small and tables are close together. We sat at the bar once because we didn’t have a reservation and the place was packed. We had a great time. Like the Italians say “Try it, You’ll like it” 😄 going there tonight“

“Absolutely blown away by the quality. Canned Amazin delivers with natural ingredients and incredible flavor. Everything tastes fresh, like it was cooked right there in the kitchen. I had the pizza with no pepperoni — instead, it came with two kinds of spicy, sliced, dried cured meats that were SO much better. Truly the most flavorful pizza I’ve ever had. Mine had cherry tomatoes, red onion, and a bunch of other amazing toppings that came together perfectly. And the summer salad? 10/10. Fresh, crisp, delicious. Highly recommend!“

He told me he gets the best of the best meat and it was frozen. OH MY GAWD 🤩 amazing wings and their mango spicy sauce is delicious! 2. Kids sizing Holy smokes! That is the biggest kids cheese burger I have ever seen. 3. Sea food platter hubby loved and I was able to have some Haddock and it was so good. 4. “We were out of town and it was our 51st wedding anniversary. Finding a restaurant that was open on a Monday wasn't easy but Leo's turned out to be close to our hotel and the food was very good. We shared a special antipasto, he had fettuccine alfredo with chicken and I had eggplant stuffed with ricotta with linguine. Portions were large so we only finished half but took the leftovers to go. Service was slow but friendly. Most of the room was a bar and nearly all the tables were high tops because they had a large party coming in that used all the low tables, but they found a regular table and chairs for us (climbing onto a tall chair would have been difficult). The waitstaff wore shirts that said the restaurant has been there since 1910 so that's pretty impressive.“

“If you LOVE a good diner you must try Boulevard!! We've been driving all day from SC and wanted something that wasn't fast food. Boulevard didn't disappoint!! We ordered the pasta fagioli, baked meatloaf, manicotti with meatball and sausage, and the GIANT Italian club. Everything was delicious just like Nonna would've made. “Absolutely NOT !!! We ordered our food before 3 other customers who came in to eat in like us . I ordered a chicken salad my husband ordered a cheeseburger sub waited 20 mins still no food but the other 3 customers got their food one had a pizza one had chicken finger dinner and one had a steak and cheese. All of which were as quick as our order but i believe a pizza and fried chicken wings should of taken longer then a cheeseburger 🍔“

“For the price for one container is $22 is pretty expensive plus it’s extra charge if you want garlic naan. Personally, I would go buy Indian food elsewhere where it’s not as expensive for the portion size. Though the butter chicken was really good. We got the mild, which was the perfect creaminess and flavor. The chicken was tender as well. The goat curry was also delicious and definitely had a more meater fatty taste. The garlic naan is a good size and it was cooked not too dough or not too dry. The samosas were crispy on the outside, but still soft on the inside filling and the sauce went well perfectly“

There are a lot of various types of foods like pizzas, kababs, salads or deserts. The prices are not expensive. They also have delivery service which very convenient if you are away.

Very tasty, tender, seasoned steak and the crust was almost to good to give any piece to my begging dog (ultimately giving in and he approved). Price was right, called in and ready in the correct given time (20 minutes). This will now be our regular pizza place!“
