The only reason this was not 5 stars was that we felt it could use more seasoning. The food was impeccable, the service was top tier, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy.Plenty of menu options to choose from, with multiple chef specials to boot. I chose a special the day we went - Pasta Davina. Generous portions, and priced fairly. “Thought the waiter was top notch, we had 14 people in our party, a few provided feedback on what they ordered. The fish tacos were underwhelming, lacked flavor as did the chicken Marcello which was very bland. The fish and chips were a big surprise, large portion of fish, rather than the typical large portion of fries! My seafood with angle hair pasta was good, but a bit too much oil, and scollops were slightly over cooked, but I would order it again.“

“I visited here for the first time while visiting my great aunt. She brought me here, saying that this is one of her favorite restaurants in the area. She's been coming for over 10 years! I can definitely see why she's such a loyal customer.To start, we shared a bowl of their Seafood Chowder. I had to try it after seeing that it had won awards in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2016. It was hands down the best chowder I've ever had. The broth was incredibly creamy, but not too heavy, with a perfect balance of savory flavors.For my main course, I ordered the Prime Rib Wrap. The prime rib was piled high, juicy, and had just the right amount of spice. It was paired with melted Swiss cheese, peppercorn mayo all wrapped in a warm, crispy tortilla dusted with Cajun seasoning. The combination of textures and flavors was absolutely delicious.My great aunt opted for her usual, the Baked Scrod, and as always, she raved about it. It's clear that the quality and consistency of the food here keeps her coming back.The service was also excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. “After a nightmare experience with Doordash. I recieved the someone else's order. I went there to get it fixed in person and they were so nice. Remade on the spot. The food never disappoints here! Fresh food and great service! Maybe I'll skip the doordash next time.“

“Had lunch with family here. Heard the fish and chips were good. Brother and SIL order it and raved about it. Looked good. I had a chopped salad with a scoop of chicken salad on top. It was OK. “Small but mighty. Unassuming little spot that serves fresh, delicious food. Service was great with our large group. The guacamole was the best I have ever had in a restaurant that wasn't in California or Texas. Margaritas are large and strong!“

I would highly recommend you if you can have some gluten-free or lactose intolerant items for those who need that like some kind of lactose, ice cream or sherbet and the ambience is always clean. I have to give that one more group, 100 out of 100 stars keep up the good work and to the owner. Definitely try to have two windows open one for food and one for ice cream. It'll make it much easier for those who are looking for the food and who don't have to be standing behind the ones for the ice cream. “Typical Chinese American fare. Decent portions. Clean restaurant. My only complaint is that the Crab Rangoon is on the sweet side, and I prefer them more savory. Since that's a personal preference, though, I don't think it fair to take points off for it.“

“I have been going here since I was a little girl. After about a ten year gap due to moving we came back near home and George’s was one of my first stops last summer. My husband and I faithfully drive one hour weekly to get a lobster roll and some clam cakes and strips. This place does not disappoint and I am counting down the weeks until they reopen in March.“

“The first time I went to visit the Redwood was the early 80s; it's now known as George's Surf and Turf. I had never had an eastern fried whole clam and scallop basket before. Now it's all I can think about, I have not found anywhere in the United States, Europe or Mexico that can compare itself to the Redwood, George's Surf and Turf.I have since settled in Texas but I want to go back to Mendon's Redwood, George's Surf and Turf just for a Combination calm and scallop basket and lots of their tarter sauce... no fries, although tasty is not my interest.I might just go back next summer, 2024.To bad Redwood, George's Surf and Turf doesn't ship to Texas.Parking: Great parking, if anyone complains it is because they're too bitter and want to share it with strangers.“

Delicious chowders, especially the seafood chowder that has lobster, shrimp, fish, clam and is soooo good! They have daily lunch specials and food for the non seafood loving population. Awesome chili cheese dogs! Huge ice cream selection. Classic drinks like a raspberry lime rickey or root beer floats. Restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly. You can pay with a card but bring cash to tip. Those behind the counter work hard. Especially the ice cream scooping, multitasking, order taking and grabbing counter staff.
