“This BEST ice cream on the Cape! You can tell it is actual homemade ice cream because of how rich and creamy it is. This is how real, high quality ice cream is supposed to taste! Their waffle cones are freshly made too, with square bottoms so the ice cream doesn’t melt through. Very clever. My favorite flavors are their Blueberry Pie, Cherry Chocolate Chunk, Banana Cream Pie (seasonal) and Coffee Oreo. Their black raspberry was a little disappointing because of how “basic” it tasted- couldn’t taste real fruit or anything in there to help it stand out.“

“The other night, we went on a peak time 8:30pm ice cream run and every single ice cream spot had huge lines! We just kept driving… LOL. Eventually, we found ourselves all the way in Mashpee at Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlour. They had a long line too, but at that point, if I kept driving, we would’ve run out of gas So we waited in line and let me tell you, it was SO worth it. They make the waffle cones to order, and the smell alone was enough to pull you in. Not only were the prices surprisingly reasonable, but what really stood out was the service. The gentleman taking our order had the kind of smile you don’t see often anymore—genuine, warm, and welcoming. The whole place had these nostalgic Coca-Cola throwback vibes, and it just felt like a full-on experience, not just a quick dessert stop. My daughter said, “I hope customers feel this way when I serve them.” 🩷 And my husband got a banana split that was absolutely to die for and only $11! 🐻❄️“

“We love their ice cream and how many options are available! We come to Onset each year and go to Guido’s multiple days. So many flavor options, everyone is very nice, and always enjoy what we buy. Used to walk with my nieces and nephews there and now they are adults, bringing their children!“
“Richardson 's ice cream ,multiple flavors, yogurt and sugar free.Served by 2 patient and very efficient, confident teens .Last Saturday it was one long line after another ,but they handled it all successfully. But their tip jar didn't reflect their hard work.“

“I'm celiac and went to Smitty's last night - I was really impressed with their protocol and the staff all knew how to prevent contamination! They gloved up, used a sanitized scoop and got the ice cream from the back. They went above and beyond - thank you!“

“I travel from Providence to this particular store in Wareham to buy their Boston Creme cupcakes. They did not have them available for sale today, but the shop assistant offered to make them for me. This store has always provided great service and I appreciate them going above and beyond today, I highly recommend them.“
