“Omg, by far the best ice cream place around. Tons of choices and has a nice play area for kiddos. They have coffee vanilla twist soft serve, which is what I always get. Delicious!! The service is always pleasant and helpful if you can't decide. Sometimes there's a lot of kids, but even then it's not bad at all since they have so many toys/games. A relaxing and always satisfying experience. Plenty of parking. I keep coming back for more. Disclaimer: highly addictive and not the best for diets LOL.“

“Hidden GEM! Very Yummy Food. My partner got the fish and chips each time and I tried a few others throughout our week. The owner worked their butt off each and every time. “Only in New England would there be a line out the door for ice cream on a 20 degree day in February! I can't imagine how busy this place would get in the summer. Acushnet Creamery seems to be super popular and for good reason! I had a delicious large ice cream sundae with hot fudge, whipped cream, sprinkles, and two scoops of peanut butter oreo ice cream! I also got a hand-packed pint of strawberry cheesecake ice cream to take home. The prices are totally reasonable, my total was less than $17 with tip for the super friendly and efficient kids working here! The ice cream is somewhere in the middle of the spectrum from dense/creamy to light/fluffy.Would definitely recommend no matter the weather!“

“Flying Banana is a 10/10! We had an issue with DoorDash and Barry went above & beyond to make it right. Not only did he remake the 4 cheesecakes for us, but he also gave us an additional 4 cheesecakes to make up for it. Will definitely be back & recommend to everyone! “A nice little place right at the end of the rail trail. They serve Acushnet Creamery ice cream and homemade hot fudge, both of which are fantastic. Suprisingly though, my attention was drawn most to the whipped cream. It is thick and rich, and very tasty too. The service was phenominal as well. The young man at the counter was very friendly and accomodating, and all of the ice creams for my group were made and handed out quickly.“

“This is a little walk up to the window take out. It is on a very busy corner. But it has been in business for decades. The steamed dogs are always hot and fresh . The deal is 2 hot dogs, choice of chips and canned soda. The price can't be beat.“

They have my favorite ice cream “cake batter” & although I’m use to the plain yellow version. Tom & Jimmys cake batter with swirls of fudge hits the spot that I didn’t know I needed. Super generous with toppings. Only gripe I have is that there aren’t a lot of shaded areas to sit for those who wish to sit but since it’s open all year round I can do without it. Staff was super friendly & I can’t wait to try other flavors !“

“At 7:45 last night my husband and I decided we wanted some ice cream. We looked online and found Gone Country Creamery was open till 9. We arrived close to 8 and got really delicious creamy ice cream. I commented that we appreciated her being open (so many already closed for the season) and she said oh I was just about to close (open till 9 in summer). She was lovely and stayed a bit longer to accommodate us! And she’s open all winter!!!!“

“Dorothy Cox chocolates are a SouthCoast institution. Any chocolate lover won’t regret a visit. My mom’s perennial request was chocolate covered ginger. I didn’t learn until later in life that she lived those “because most people didn’t like ginger” so there was more for her! “

“I love, love, love Dairy Queen and always have, since I was a small child and that was over 30 years ago! They had an imposter Dairy Queen in my town too, called Dairy Kreme, but nothing beats Dairy Queen. They have the best soft serve ice cream and the ones with a restaurant have good food - burgers, fries, etc. However, I was thoroughly disappointed to find out, at a recent visit, that they no longer do the cherry dip ice cream!! This is a travesty! I've been getting a vanilla cone with cherry so since I was a kid! Why would they ever do this?? They need to BRING BACK THE CHERRY DIP!“

“I was out and about last night and was really hungry so I decided to go grab a bite to eat. I thought I haven't been to Kool Kone since I was a teenager and I haven't lived in the area in over 25 years . I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh the food was and how fresh the Cole Slaw was too. I ordered the Seafood Platter with a Large drink ( market value prices ) 37.00 I will say it's very well worth the money. The only thing I didn't like was there was no obvious trash receptacle but luckily a few nice customers said they go outside. Other than that everything was amazing. You do get your monies worth with the prices they charge“

“Love this place... I have a sweet tooth and the pastries here are ultra sweet and rich (My favorite is the gooey pecan butter bars). They use real buttercream on their cupcakes which is the best. And, the staff is friendly and always willing to answer questions.I even ordered a Funfetti cake from here for my brother’s birthday this past summer, and while on the pricier side, it was bigger than I expected and looked absolutely flawless.
