Ruby Thai South Shore Plaza Reviews
Food is great for the money and great service good place to go and eat
Waste of money!!! Been here many times, and unfortunately frequently disappointed. Today was no exception. Ordered combo 2 with spicy shrimp, had only five pieces of small shrimp. They load up your plate with rice, and then just a little bit of the two sides. If the food court wasn’t so pathetic, I would have complained sooner
Very good dishes, had no challenges in ordering and it tasted good. It was also very affordable and filling. I enjoyed it, they will see my and my money again.

Ruby Thai, located in South Shore Plaza's food court, is known for offering food samples. The orange chicken remains a popular choice, although some customers have noted a decline in quality and portion sizes over time. While it is called a Thai restaurant, many feel it serves Americanized Chinese food, pointing out that their pad Thai resembles lo mein and that boneless spareribs are not authentic Thai. Recent reviews mention that the fried rice can be wet and the shrimp portions are very small, with only three tiny shrimp covering vegetables. Some customers find the mango chicken crispy and not too sweet, while others mention that the eggplant and tofu are tasteless. The noodles are praised for being al dente and fresh, and the spicy chicken is considered just a bit too sweet for some tastes. Despite mixed opinions, many appreciate that the food court restaurant offers a quick and satisfying meal. The owner’s chef and staff are known for friendly service, and the restaurant continues to be a place where customers can try samples and enjoy familiar dishes, even if the authenticity is sometimes questioned.
