“I am so pleased that I can go right down the street from my house and am able to buy a really good apple pie, filled with lots of apples just the right amount of sugar, I almost ate the whole pie myself, another great pie which is my favorite is the Key Lime pie, Lemon squares and blueberry muffins are a must try them. “The best coffee and bagels around. Bagels are legit, chewy but not hurt your teeth chewy and good flavors. Every sandwich is good but chicken salad is the best. The sweets are good too, not overly sweet like some other coffee shops...

“I have taken several friends there to try their delicious vegan donuts, but they keep running out. Today was the third time that I made the trip there, only to find that they had sold out of vegan donuts. I love this place and look forward to updating my review to 5 stars when they are more consistently stocked.“

“favorite cafe in the area! the ambiance is conducive for studying so i come pretty often- it's quiet, sunny, with a fixed playlist that is very jazzy compliments the interior decor well.
their green tea is bright in color and is super smooth. it's not bitter after seeped in water for a while compared to the higher grade green teas i own. the matcha tea and latte are great as well- both vibrant green and a perfect level of sweetness. the matcha used is very good quality & remind me of the matcha i had in japan :,)
as for food- i haven't tried much of the options yet but the spicy salmon, tuna, shiitake onigiri is yummy and rice usually fresh and soft. also the taiyaki and other deserts are light, not too sweet
overall, i'd definitely recommend! the workers are kind and super attentive. there's a very detailed list of allergens which was so helpful for me, and my sibling who has allergies to wheat (no soy sauce), among other restrictions“

“Great bakery and coffee shop to visit on a morning alone or with friends. Both the line and seating is deceiving because it looks quite busy and like seating or ordering me take a while but both move very quickly! The pistachio lattes to die for!“

“This place is adorable and so cozy! I managed to snag a seat indoors after a bit of waiting and would love to spend a good rainy WFH day here. There are very limited seats so plan accordingly if you’re hoping to stay. I was a bit disappointed by my drink - their specialty lemonade ran around $7 and was not memorable. But, I was able to get work done and enjoyed the playlist and company.“

“I would suggest maybe all the negative reviewers on here turn the mirror on themselves. Since I moved to Boston two years ago Cafe Fixe has been nothing but a community focal point. I bring my profoundly autistic non-verbal son here and he’s treated with nothing but kindness and compassion. He loves it there. I’m a NY coffee snob and the coffee is top tier. If you go to a Michelin star restaurant its ok for the chef to have a certain decorum about their craft but not ok for people who are passionate about coffee to feel the same way? If you want an iced mocha frappe, a hug and a coupon go to Dunkin. If you want real coffee, made by real people in a real community then come here.“

“Had a breakfast date here and it was quiet and cozy. The owner was very kind in serving us and answering all our questions. It was our first time trying Turkish coffee. We were worried it was so small😅 but it was really strong and was sufficient to get the early morning kick we needed for work. If you are ordering a sandwich, you also have the option of deciding which bread you want- bagel or croissant. We got both and they were nice and filling.
If you are looking for a cozy, budget-friendly place with great coffee, I highly recommend MeetPoint.“
