“I love that this is one of the few remaining Starbucks in Boston with the true coffee shop vibes like they used to have, even one of the last in the US! Lots of people drinking out of real mugs, getting coffee & tea refills, lounging, and listening to the great playlist. It’s really nostalgic and well-maintained. And my drink is always made well here.

I go out of my way to go to this Starbucks for all the reasons. But finally decided to write a review bc today the manager (i believe?) was just kicking butt and hustling but also bantering with all the other baristas. She was so lovely and contributing to the great atmosphere at this location!“

“Was amazed how many of these are available in Boston area. That said, service quick, and friendly. Despite fact we were travelers in town for just a couple days , barrista remembered order from previous day! Muffins were a generous size, and quite delicious. Had donuts on previous visit that were par for bakery donuts. Overall, nice quick breakfast!“

“Coffee Turco has great coffee with rich, authentic flavor and a cozy atmosphere. The pastries and snacks are a nice bonus, and the service is warm and welcoming. A wonderful place to relax or catch up with friends. Just a little room for improvement, but overall a very enjoyable spot!“

“Let there be…space! Most dunks in Brighton or any Bostonian neighbor/suburb are unable to fit my left leg never mind my hyperactive children! This dunks was a little different and allows space to breathe! Imagine that, people aren’t breathing directly on your donut or breakfast sandwich! Plus it was clean and the staff were all they need to be. While it’s nice to have that overly nice cashier at times, there are other times that you just want your damn coffee! Lol“

“I come 2-3x a week and generally have a good experience except when this employee is on desk (didn't catch her name tag but has dark hair, working on June 4 @ 9:30 AM).

Twice now (in May & June), she's refused to make Lavender Matcha, saying the store didn't have it. But everytime I come, everyone else has always been able to. I know it's a seasonal drink, but she could've offered regular matcha or something else.

The main issue is the unprofessionalism. She rolled her eyes and scoffed at me when she replied. The tone and attitude were combative and rude. Someone needs to retrain her and hold her accountable.

First time? No problem, bad day probably.

Second time? It's a pattern and it's worse this time. It needs to be addressed.“

“I usually get there near closing time (wish they had longer hours) they are the best Dunkin in the area. The guy and the women that work at that time are the best, they always make sure everything is correct and always made perfect, even when its a big order for multiple people and I get there last minute, If anyone ever deserved a raise for representing the business they work as the best of all locations for customers its the late evening crew at this location.“

“Starbucks of Tea. Essentially the undisputed S-tier royalty of the boba world.

When this Allston location first opened last year, the hype was unreal. I had to wait a couple of weeks before I even dared to get in line. While the waits on weekend evenings are still pretty rough, the crowds have definitely thinned out a bit now that they’ve opened more outposts around Boston.

I've loved almost every drink I’ve tried here. I love that they use real dairy, fresh fruit, and absolutely no powders. They essentially pioneered the premium tea market in China (and actually invented the cheese cloud foam), and they manage to keep that high quality incredibly consistent across a massive menu. Even the drinks that look like heavy fruit smoothies are infused with premium bases like jasmine green tea, which gives them a much lighter, floral aftertaste. The OG cheese cloud cap also adds a really sophisticated layer of savoriness. My favorites so far were the Cloud Coconut Blue, the Coconut Mango Boom, and the Cloud Mango.

This isn’t the most convenient HeyTea location for me, but it’s in the perfect spot to hang out and grab a drink after a heavy Chinese or Korean dinner in the neighborhood. Will definitely keep coming back to try their new flavors.“
