“Glazed Bytes Coffee is selling itself short by being tucked inside a tiny, painfully forgettable mall in Brookline. The coffee itself? Not forgettable at all.

We ordered two Cloud Foam Lattes (I think that was the name), and that foam was ridiculous in the best way possible. It sits somewhere between an absurdly fluffy marshmallow and canned whipped cream, except smoother, creamier, and somehow lighter at the same time. I genuinely have no idea how they made foam feel “luxurious”, but there we are.

The coffee underneath actually held its own too. Strong flavour, unique profile, not just another Instagram café trying to survive off aesthetics and oat milk. Properly good coffee.

Honestly, the mall needs them more than they need the mall. Places like this drive foot traffic way harder than another random clothing shop nobody remembers walking into. More food spots. More cafés. More reasons for people to actually stay there.

“The donuts are amazing but this review is for Ruben, the manager at the Rt 1 location. I had to travel for business today and it happens to also be my son’s 15th birthday. Because my son has celiac disease, options for baked goods is limited, especially when your plane lands at 6:30pm on the big day and gluten free options aren’t known to last long once baked. Unfortunately, living in Southern New Hampshire, delivery via UberEats or GrubHub wasn’t an option But, being a father himself, Ruben kindly offered to deliver them personally after work. This man went above and beyond, first driving home to pick up his kids. You see, his wife needed to get to her job so he brought his kids along for the adventure. In addition, he refused all forms of tipping despite my repeated insistence. He explained that he hopes someone would do the same for his kids if he was in my position and, as the manager, he felt compelled to make it happen. Ruben, you’re an angel, one in a million, an amazing human! I hope you receive back the blessing you bestowed on me and my son 10-fold! Thank you isn’t enough. “I went back — and although my first time around ordering an ube matcha was very mediocre, i loved ther banana saigonese latte, banana matcha, and bbq chicken banh mi.

the latte was decadent, creamy, and had the right amount of banana flavor. the banana matcha had that deep matcha taste while complementing well with the banana cream. the banh mi came in a large portion, and was flavorful with clean flavors.

i will say, two years ago i got the ube matcha latte, and although it looked pretty, it was relatively bland and I didn’t get much of a matcha or ube flavor. the drink then also wasn’t smooth, with lots of little chunky bits inside. perhaps they fired that barista, or got a better hold of quality control.

We got the coffee cream and salted caramel both topped with chocolate. Safe to say we inhaled both. The coffee cream was so smooth and tasty I should’ve got a cup of it too. We ordered specialty lattes. The vanilla chocolate cream puff with an actual chocolate covered cream puff inside & the cannoli latte. The cannoli latte was topped with chocolate chip cannoli cream and a piece of cannoli shell. Both lattes were incredibly good. The fun part about this place is you can choose your espresso as well! The kicco blend was great inside the cannoli latte tons of flavor yet strong and bold espresso. Staff was super friendly. Would recommend“

“I can't recommend Korean Momma enough! We ordered an OG Burnt Basque Cheesecake for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was honestly the best Basque cheesecake we've ever had. The texture was perfectly creamy and custardy with that beautifully caramelized top, and the flavor was incredible, not overly sweet and just absolutely delicious.

What made the experience even more special was how kind and accommodating Su Jean and Duly were. They were able to make a special order for us outside of their regular drop schedule, which completely surprised my boyfriend and made his birthday so memorable. They even included an extra slice of their chocolate Basque cheesecake, which was such a thoughtful surprise.
