“This place was such an unexpected gem! We had originally planned to eat at another restaurant, but they didn't have any availability, so we decided to walk over to Phat Thaiger instead. It ended up being the best surprise of the night.

The atmosphere was a 10/10! The place is cute, cozy, and perfect for a fun night out. The menu had so many great food and drink options that it was hard to choose. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and by the end of the meal we were already talking about what we wanted to come back and try next. “Went here for date night recently! We got the shrimp lettuce wraps (GF), the Wagyu Roll (contains gluten), Paradise Roll (GF), and the Singapore noodles (GF). “My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!“

Don't know if Angel is still the GM but he is great, popular among staff and always conscientious toward all and it shows in his people and their enthusiasm.Ali executive chef and co-founder is probably the most patient, thorough and engaged restaurateur I have ever met. I drove for Boston Laundry picking up and delivering linens for Bon Me for over 15 years. I overheard her training people many, many times. Her delivery never changed or wavered during that entire time. Methodical engaged and gentle. Don't know how she does it. (I lose my mind if I have to repeat something to myself once).

Always striving for authenticity. Phenomenal. True dedication. And it pretty much runs through the entire organization.

One note of caution: the brown sugar bubble tea is inexplicably bad! The plain milk tea is good though :)“

“Got lunch here for the first time while working on the field in the Harvard IT department. I work around the West Campus a lot so I'm looking for more lunch spots. The kiosk is easy to use and navigate, the wait time was short. The pho was great and made for a nice warm bowl of broth and noodles in this cold weather. The noodles are well cooked. The broth was hot and had good seasoning. Lots of toppings and meat. My note of no lime and ginger was fulfilled.

However, my only complaint is that I also ordered a Brown Sugar boba milk tea and had to immediately spit it out as the taste of spoiled milk hit. I had my colleague at the office try it and he too also noticed it didn't taste like Brown Sugar boba milk tea and compared it to spoiled milk. I'm not going to give a 1 star because the review doesn't deserve that, but just a -1 for my drink. Might try again another day...but thanks for reading my review!“

“I recently visited Viet-Thai Restaurant and had a great experience. I ordered the 27. Dặc Biệt (Special Beef Noodle Soup), and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the combination of thinly sliced rare eye round, well-done flank, brisket, tripe, and beef balls made every bite satisfying.

The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. You can really tell they put care into their food. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend if you’re in the Lowell area and craving authentic Vietnamese flavors!“

I always look forward to going because of the consistency of the flavor, atmosphere, and the great customer service that is provided amongst the entire staff.

I would like to single out three ladies that always go above and beyond to make sure that everything is up to the best standards. These ladies are Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna. They always have a smile on their face, are extremely kind and attentive. They make the experience always enjoyable for myself and my friends/family. It's always a wonderful restaurant experience and with them it feels like I'm visiting family for dinner with their warm welcoming back.

I really appreciate that level of service that Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna always provide. I always look forward to seeing them, and they are a great asset to Happy Lamb in Cambridge.

“It was the first bite I had in the city of Boston! Very clean, healthy, and delicious food. I had the Basil Lemonade and the Korean-style chicken bahn mi. The bread had a very nice crust and the fresh (or pickled, I'm not sure) vegetables gave a nice tang. You can tell that Bon Me uses high quality ingredients and that they understand flavor!“

I went on a busy night, and the server with short hair was quick and friendly. She handled both dine-in and takeout efficiently and kept everything clean, which I appreciated. The only downside for me was the atmosphere, since the lack of natural light made it less enjoyable.“

“This restaurant is dope. The interior is warm and inviting. It’s modern and chic. Definitely an elevated hipster vibe. A chill spot to hang out after work or nice date night. The food is bomb! For apps, I’ve never had a Chinese-inspired arancini. These crispy delights are addicting with their crack sauce. The sauce is a must have on the arancini. The salad is light and refreshing. The Kokoda is a well made dish. I never had blue fin tuna until I came here. The combo with the fresh fish with the acidity from the lemon juice and smooth finish of coconut sauce - oof, worth a try. There’s also another surprise about the Kokoda - there’s something called sea grapes 🍇 and were bursting of flavor and freshness. A nice addition to the dish. I could go for seconds with the Kokoda because it’s a bit small for me. I wish they made it 2x bigger so it could be more shareable with a date or with company. The Maine Uni was surprisingly delicious 😋. I honestly thought it was too expensive but after having it, it was an amazing amuse bouche (the perfect bite). I couldn’t believe that small bite packed so much flavor and complexity. It was balanced and left me feeling happy. Totally worth it. For mains, the pork belly adobo melts in your mouth. So good! The mushroom raviolis are my favorite out of this menu. The salted duck egg sauce is what makes this dish memorable. I would definitely eat this again. The bitter melon ratatouille is not my favorite because it wasn’t seasoned enough for me. It felt as though it was missing salt. The veggies were perfectly roasted though, but it didn’t quite smack like the other dishes. The ribeye is good, but not my favorite. I might be biased because I’ve had better at other places. For desserts, the pandan sorbet is tasty. I’m not a fan of the pandan taste. It’s definitely an acquired taste, but I enjoyed it because I love avocados and bananas and in ice cream form? No brainer. I wished they had a version without the pandan flavoring. I’m curious as to how it would taste then. The matcha cheesecake is surprisingly well-balanced. Not too matcha where it’s overbearing. The matcha is subtle while the richness of the cheesecake smacks just right and not overly sugary. The late night menu - I only tried the Chicharrón taco 🌮. The combo of crispy pork belly and the acidity from the lime is perf. Nothing else to say. Surprisingly really filling. I probably can’t have more than 2 of these tacos and I’m a pretty big guy. The drinks - I love the names and how they have a play on words. The blood orange and the banana espresso are my favorite. These drinks have enough booze and not too much where it’s offensive. Blood orange is enjoyable to drink and the banana espresso is complex with a chocolate finish. Their nice, clean cocktails. Service was awesome! The servers were friendly and quick. They regularly checked in with my wife and me. I don’t think I even had to do the awkward “please help us” lean at all. They were there when you needed them! Amazing 5 star service! You want a culinary experience. This place won’t disappoint.“

“Great jazz atmosphere, the quartet definitely was the highlight of the night.

The food here is a cool fusion of Asian dishes. We got the Udon Gone Thai and the Tom Yum spaghetti. The spaghetti was delicious, with great flavor and spice profile. Fried seafood (shrimp, mussels, and calamari) were decent.
The udon dish was average. We were able to swap out the shrimp for fried chicken instead, but the dish came out quite underwhelming. First of all, we expected a Thai green curry dish to have a respectable amount of curry sauce to go with the noodles. What came out was almost a dry dish, with the udon noodles so lightly coated, it was like they had run out of sauce.. we asked if they could provide extra sauce, to which it would’ve costed another $5.. which blew our minds as it felt like they almost didn’t put any in the first place. The fried chicken didn’t have much seasoning or flavor either so the dish kind of felt lackluster.

We did get Gaga’s monster sushi roll which was quite good. The ingredients meshed well together and were overall a great experience to eat. The only downside is that the soy paper fell apart pretty easily when picking up with chopsticks.“

I had stopped going there when I had started eating gluten free food, however, I just realized that they now have great gluten free options including my favorite, General Gau's chicken! Family members who don't eat gluten free loved the hot & sour soup, the spring rolls, the boneless honey ribs, and the beef and broccoli. Also the menu selection is wide ranging so there will be something for everyone. This is also conveniently located on a stretch of highland where there are not many other restaurants, which is great.
