“I'm not going to fault them for never having an open table... they're busy, it is what it is. However, I don't like how pushy and demanding they are the minute you come in to take your order. Chill a minute, it's a big menu! We need a couple seconds to decide. The food is always tasty but sometimes the execution is wrong, sloppy, or lacking (I've ordered a rueban that had 1 slice of pastrami and nothing but sauerkraut... :( ).“

“Amazing gluten free cafe and bakery. We had the peach grilled cheese, pancakes, and a breakfast sandwich and all 3 were amazing. My fiancé was diagnosed with celiac 15 years ago and she said it’s the best pancake she’s had since she was diagnosed. We also got iced coffees, both were delicious. The sweets we brought home all look and taste amazing. Very allergen friendly.“

“Cafe Nero never disappoints. The food and their cafe stores always deliver amazing coffee, lattes and sandwiches. Love this store location with its huge large viewing windows. Also, it’s so nice to be served by actual baristas that know really how to make a good latte and cappuccino. So much more exquisite than Starbucks and Dunkin Doughnuts. Just make sure to get in early and find a seat because it does get very busy and popular with the locals.“

“The person serving us on a line was impressively adept and efficient, while being quite friendly to everyone He turned out to be the manager. I was looking for dessert, but on the kiosk, under bakeries Nero wasn’t listed, in fact, hardly a thing was, so I planned to go without until I stumbled upon Nero on my way out. They bake fresh every day. It’s a very comfortable and relaxingenvironment and as noted above excellent service. He was serving an outrageous range of coffee, specialties, and the bakery goods looked carefully crafted. The chocolate cake was quite delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.“

“I don't usually review, but I've had such good experiences here. Despite the fact that I'm usually rushing in about ten minutes before closing, the staff is always so kind and helpful every time. I've liked pretty much everything I've tried here, but the Thai Tea Latte and Choco-Oreo Balls tend to be my go-to (with things like the Banoffee Cake or the Strawberry Shortcake when I'm feeling fancy). I routinely get to my 7:00 pm events an hour early because if I'm going to Union Square, I want to make it to Maprang before they close at 6:00 pm. A true neighborhood gem!“

The family that owns it, are so nice. The food is incredible. I tried the toasted butter bread, crispy chicken egg rolls, and stir fried flat noodles with chicken.

A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. Watch for example the use of za'atar or sesame seeds. If you can, get some of the nut cake which is remarkable. Their coffee is also third wave level“

“Excellent, delicious food. Gluten free options available for pizzas and sandwiches. The cauliflower crust is thin and ideal. Soup is in a pot and slightly salty. Sandwiches have lots of meat, caramelized onion and are filling. Build your own option also turned out great.“

“I order sandwiches for pickup from their website frequently. Everything is made fresh to order with excellent/simple to choose customization options so it does take them 10-15 mins to prepare. If you walk in and wait around that can be annoying but if you order ahead and give them a few extra minutes you're going to have a great quality lunch. Try the BLT and add pickles, onions, hot relish, ketchup, and mayo. Its divine.“
