“Great little hole in the wall with some of the best bahn mi in the area. There’s way more filling than other places and they’re packed with more flavor. The pickled veggies in the sandwiches also cut through the richness really well. Pair it with the salty lemonade or fresh sugar cane juice!“

“100% RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!I LOVE BANH MI!!!!! It was almost closing, but the employees there were soo nice to make me a sandwich. At first I bought one and finished it in store. But it was so delicious that I HAD to get another to-go!!!!!!!It’s also in a great location! Being within a mall allows for you to shop while enjoying the best sandwich in the world (source: me)“

“Only started coming here recently after living in Quincy my whole life. Wish I started coming sooner. The food is very good and homey. I usually get any of the banh mi for lunch or to go but the noodle soups are all delicious. They have a lot of variety as well. I'm here at least once a week. The service is extremely friendly as well“

“I seriously miss this place and would come here every week if it was down the street from me! This spot is such a hidden gem, we loved every item we ordered from here! This is the first Vietnamese Restaurant I've seen in Boston to serve Mi Quang and DAMN was it FRICKEN GOOD! The egg noodles were just chewy enough and the sauce and broth were such a good complement to one another that this may just be my favorite Viet dishWe also ordered the Pho Dac Biet (Pho Special) and the broth tasted so pure, it was just simply fantastic. In addition, we also ordered beef summer rolls which were pretty great too. The restaurant itself seems family owned since it seemed like many locals were walking in and also chatting with the owner. It's about small-medium sized inside, but definitely can still fit a good number of tables. Waiter was very kind and made sure our table felt cared for despite all the tables he had to take care of himself! Can't wait to come back again! What we ordered:- Mi Quang (A MUST)- Pho Dac Biet (Pho Special)- Beef Summer Rolls“

“I've been craving Canh Bun and this cozy restaurant has that noodle soup. They weren't cheap with Morning Glory (rau muong). Broth was mild, I like to put fermented fish paste in the broth. I always have to order another order to bring home since it's a hike to get there from where I live. The staff were nice and prompt. It wasn't pack during lunch time on a Tuesday so I got very attentive staff. I will give other dishes a try next time I'm in town again.“

“I have been here a half a dozen times and I have only got takeout. When I do pick up the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is clean. I am addicted to their pork bahn mi. The baguette is crusty and soft, the honey roasted pork is delicious and the pickled vegetables have the crunch that you want. All in all a perfect bite.Thank you!“

“Outstanding service and superb Pho. Both the staff and the owner were incredibly welcoming. As a family of three, we felt highly appreciated during our first dinner visit to the restaurant. Despite living a bit far and having numerous options nearby, we will definitely re-visit.“

“Very small, local spot for tasty Banh Mi sandwiches, eggrolls, Pho, and other familiar Vietnamese food. I’ve ordered here multiple times and the sandwiches are very good as well as the egg rolls and drinks. Glad to have a close spot when you get a craving for Banh Mi!“

“After Plaster Funtime with the kids, I was searching for somewhere easy to eat with my kiddos but wanted to expose them to something they hadn't had before and that I loved. Pho!!! ?28 Bistro has a low key vibe, great music in the background, and the owner who works the register and tables(at least that Sunday) was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious! I had to order an 18yo, a 14yo, and a 7 yo. 29 Bistro didn't disappoint.Apps: Seaweed Salad, Short Ribs, and CalamariEntree options: Beef Pho, 2 x Seafood Pho, and Duck Pho (these aren't the names of the dishes, but the main ingredients within). My kids were loving the flavor, enjoying every moment of the experience, and had a bunch left over for lunch the next day despite being super full.I enjoyed it all. The Dutch Pho was absolutely amazing and while I over did it a bit in the apps, flavorwise, it was all amazing.Oh, we capped it off with various flavors of boaba tea! You've gotta check out 29 Bistro. I'll sure be back!!“

“Great little eatery! Staff was extremely pleasant and made sure I was comfortable and well accommodated. I tried their Classic Cold Cuts Banh Mii and it was yummy. The baguette was warm and flakey and extremely fresh! It made for a delicious lunch. Also got a Blood Moon Refresher to accompany the Banh Mii and it paired perfectly. The slight tartness and freshness of the lychee and berries meshed well with the toasted baguette.“

“I love this spot!! Such an underwhelming location with truly some of the best Viet food in Boston. I've been sleeping on this spot for so long, but my sister has been telling me about Dot Cafe and I finally made some time. This spot offers affordable and quick Vietnamese food and American breakfast. I actually only came for the Bánh Bột Chiên, Vietnamese fried rice flour cakes, but then I saw that they had Mì Quảng (it's new!!). It's a noodle dish from Central Vietnam that uses wide flat tumeric noodles, and the broth is a mix of pork and shrimp flavors. It was a little sweet, rich in flavor, and the pork was soooo tender. Not any, if very little places make this dish. My Sister's Crawfish used to make the best dry version of these noodles, but they sort of rebranded + relocated and don't have it anymore SO if you want some Mì Quảng, go to Dot Cafe!!!!“

“Like similar, family-run Vietnamese delis, this is a simple, casual venue offering sandwiches and light dishes, with plenty of room to sit inside and enjoy your goodies after you order them at the counter. Think banh mi, pho, rice dishes, and bubble tea drinks. A cold cut banh mi, for example, featured a generously sized baguette that was reasonably filled with meats and veggies - a solid, delicious deal at $6. There are also ready-made appetizers and rolls, if I remember correctly, that you can grab to go. So if you're traveling along busy Main Street and are looking for a decent, healthier alternative to, say, American fast food at prices that are the same or even cheaper, then this is an excellent choice.“

“Love the pho noodle bowls here. Takeout from this location is also excellent. The broth, noodles, veggie and meat are all packaged separately to be easily combined once home. It makes for the perfect meal on a cold winter night, which I love! Service is always very friendly and prompt. The spring rolls are also excellent, as well as the alcohol mixed drinks. Love that this location has a full bar and excellent mai tais.“

“It's very good, solid and I would dine here anytime. It's not too far and my Pho was an easy 5 star. Really big menu, a big dining room and good service. Please be sure to lock your car and don't talk to anyone approaching you. We saw a couple of unsavory's walking the lot and looking for an opportunity. (Pretty much a point off for that.) I had friends from Randolph, it was a great, safe town back in the day. Now it's a suburban hood like all the satellite towns around the city. With that change comes good, cheap and culturally diverse food. SilverLinings.org My seafood Pho was a huge bowl chock full of fish a few scallops and shrimp. I like it when they have 2 or 3 sizes for Pho. Of course, I get the largest size and why not for only another couple bucks. The broth was on the expected bland side and in need of enhancement. I'll get the beef next time. The summer roll looked good, the wrap was a bit thick and caused the roll to be chewy. I need to try it again. The peanut sauce while plentiful was loose and also not strong enough of a flavor. Overall: Price was good Food was good Service was good = 4“

“I ordered lunch here today... TRY THIS PLACE! The food was amazing, so flavorful, so tasty, cooked to perfection! I got the chicken pad Thai and fried egg rolls.I was in Asia recently, and honestly, this place was better than a few meals that I had there. Service was seamless, the place was nice inside, good prices and portions. Pho... You will see me again soon!! Side Note: The order was a bit heavy and they put a cardboard piece at the bottom of the bag, common sense, just an added extra for me ????“

“We are a group of 4. Three of us ordered beef Pho ( rice noodles) soup, and we all loved it! The big bowl of soup with fresh bean sprouts/basil/lime cubes quenched my thirst for a good hearty Vietnamese noodle soup. It’s family owned small place, but neat and clean. My friend ordered stir fried ToFu with rice noodles and Napa cabbage. He said it’s delicious. We also ordered summer rolls, spring rolls and crispy wantons as appetizers, all turned out great! Especially enjoyed the peanut sauce for spring rolls. My friend left her purse behind, and owner nicely reminded us! We will come back for sure.Vegetarian options: They do offer vegetarian meals. Not sure about options though.Kid-friendliness: Located in nice and safe residential neighborhood of Canton town center.“
