Kid-friendliness: My kids have grown up with Georgios. The staff is so friendly to them and often ask how they are doing/what's new with them. When we ask if they want pizza, they demand Georgios 100% of the time!“

It came with angel hair pasta( my fault bc maybe they gave the choice of angel hair or penne.) The chicken was shredded. Almost like from a can. The brocoli seemed shredded as well. The "garlic cream" sauce was non- existent. The dish was bland. That's putting it lightly. It was like they forgot to season it. The "creamy garlic sauce?" There was nothing creamy about it. “I got the super beef on The Onion Roll with barbecue sauce, provolone and onions. It has exceeded my expectations! I didn't eat it for a little while so that's why I wrapped it in my own foil to heat it back up. I also got jalapeno poppers and they are good for an appetizer! The star of the show is the Roast Beef though! My delivery was quick I ordered at 5:00 p.m. and it was here by like 5:30!“

“Tonight, we spontaneously explored Ella’s Wood Fired Kitchen in Wareham, and I'm thrilled we did. Despite having no reservation, we were promptly seated in a cozy corner near the bar. Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. The entire meal was a delight, and our server's kindness and excellent recommendations enhanced the experience. “Picked up a large cheese pizza, meatballs, and salad for a 5 person family (1 kiddo). All were very good, and I agree that the thin crust is outstanding. The meatballs were very tasty and although we ate them all by themselves, they would be wonderful on some pasta as long as you're not looking for a thick sauce. Best of all, they came through with our order at the exact time they gave us even though it was a weekend night before the holidays!“

I took my 4-year-old to Alley Kat Lane on March 25th for a much-needed break and some fun. We’ve had a little health scare recently, so we’re making it a priority to keep him active and out of the house. I hadn’t been to Alley Kat in years, so stepping back inside and seeing the updated arcade was exciting—especially because they have some of the coolest and most unique games around. And trust me, we’ve been to a lot of arcades in the area, so we know our games.

We checked the hours beforehand—open until 10 PM. The parking lot was hopping, and you could hear the bowling balls crashing into pins from outside. But when we walked in, disappointment hit fast—the entire arcade was shut down. Just as I was about to give my best “are you kidding me?” face, I asked an employee about their usual closing time. And here’s where the magic happened…

They turned the entire arcade back on. Just. For. Us.

If that isn’t top-tier customer service, I don’t know what is!

Huge shout-out to Lucas, who went above and beyond. Not only did he get everything up and running, but he also took the time to chat with my son about his Venom shirt and favorite superheroes. The prize selection was another major win—no cheap Dollar Tree trinkets here. My son had his heart set on a giant gumball machine (2,000ish tickets), but after going all-in on the claw machines, we came up short. Luckily, they had a smaller but still awesome gumball machine for under 1,000 tickets, complete with gumballs.

Honestly, I can’t wait to go back. Part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem, but places that prioritize real customer experiences over money grabs deserve the recognition. Plus, the candlepin bowling and arcade are separate from the busier lanes, making it a perfect spot for families.

So, if you’re looking for a local spot that’s not just another overpriced, overhyped entertainment center, Alley Kat Lane is it. And to Lucas and the rest of the amazing staff—my son said you made not just his day, but his entire life.

“I’ve never physically dined at Charlie’s but have gotten delivery a couple of times. My kids and I love their pizza.

I’m sure their other dishes are amazing. Their pizza is certainly delicious. I will say that I had an experience tonight with an unfamiliar delivery driver. I guess he knocked on my door several times before I finally heard him and when I opened the door to greet him he was seemingly agitated. I apologized for not having heard him as I was tending to my kids and he then plainly said “40 bucks”. I handed him the money, already knowing what it costed from prior orders- he rounded up, I digress. As I was shutting the door I heard him say “wow, that’s it?”

I was going to say something but chose to just let it go. Charlie’s is literally a two minute drive to where I live. I understand it’s the holidays however a lot of us are struggling financially and don’t necessarily have the means to be tipping big on a delivery (that was two minutes up the road). I just found it very inappropriate to make a remark like that quite loudly where he knew my door was still open. Like dude I’m just trying to feed my kids while I have some sort of stomach virus.

I did give a call in to let management know, call me a Karen, I don’t care. They were very apologetic and I appreciated that, I knew it wasn’t their fault and I usually would have just let it go but to be that bold about it was uncalled for.“
