The food comes hot, quick and is delicious. They have plenty of seating for a small place and side of road parking. I think their menu is reasonably priced and won’t break the bank.“

“I’ve been a fan of the Yellow Chicken Curry for awhile, and I was really craving it tonight. My husband decided to make the (30 minute) drive to get takeout for me and try the food himself for the first time. He chose to try the Ladna with chicken, because he wanted something he could share with our 19 month old daughter. The curry, as always, was amazing! Flavorful and delicious. The Ladna my husband raved over! He devoured the plateful he grabbed himself and had to stop himself from grabbing more when he was full. My 19 month old, who’s incredibly picky, also LOVED it. She even ate the chicken, and we can rarely get her to eat meat! She ate every bite of her plate, which is hard to get her to do lately. To add to the awesome food, the portions are also HUGE. Well worth the price, as we can typically get at least a small portion of leftovers to have for lunch the next day. I can’t recommend Thai Lemongrass enough! Definitely a must to try 😁“

The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice. We’ll definitely be back — even though it’s a two-hour drive, it’s absolutely worth it!“

“Ordered a party size pepperoni and couldn't have been more satisfied. The roni slices were thicker than average, I couldn't even see space between them. It was 3 times normal. The sauce was perfect, not too sweet, no mint which some places use. Simple and pure. As far as the dough goes, there were more air pockets than in Joe Bidens brain. I remember this type of dough from my Greek grandmother when she would sit on the floor and beat the mixture in a stainless 30 qrt bowl as she made everything with flour every Sunday to last the week. Truly amazing. The quaint dimly lit interior with few tables reminds me of my fathers small bakery he had in Boston when we came to the country from Greece in the early 70's. Ill be going back.“

However, I found Anh Thu this side of Massachusetts and can beat any pho restaurants that I’ve been to. Wow! The broth was aromatic, complex, and deeply flavorful. Generous portion for the combination pho and worth every penny. We also shared an order of beef teriyaki, and it was just a tad salty, but the cha gio eggrolls hit the spot! We love to order the salted squid entree as an appetizer for three of us to share. I decided to give alley CAT a chance after a BAD experience at Mama's kitchen. So I went to Mama'sKitchen. I ordered bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin with an extra slice of bacon and an OJ. She asked if I wanted a side of bacon and I said no just an extra slice on the sandwich. So she rings it up and it came to $15.45. I questioned it and asked for a refund. She explained the bill and that a side of bacon was $4.50 and I told her I didn't ask for a side. she started being rude to me telling me well thats how it goes, extra bacon comes on the side. What's sad is that a customer sitting at the counter even questioned her and why if I was asking for 1 slice of bacon that she would charge me for a whole side. Since the food wasn't cooked I asked her for a refund and she said they wouldn't do it, that "they are a small business and don't have the capability to do it" that is an absolute BS All "card swipe" machines have the ability to offer a refund. And before people start running their mouths it's only $15. It's the damn point.“
