“We went to the restaurant for the first time. The service was excellent along with the drinks. Enjoyed the food and would plan on returning except for one issue. There was a processing fee added to the bill. When I asked the waitress to explain this she stated that this is added when you use a credit card. Paying with cash will obviate this. There was no notice that the restaurant would add this fee and I thought that adding such a fee without notice is not legal. There are many restaurants that do not charge this exorbitant and inappropriate fee and we will dine there until this restaurant removes it.“

We were able to quickly get seats at the counter which provided us with front row seats to watch the short-order cook work his magic. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. The menu is fantastic and the food...we all had the best French toast and homemade corned beef hash we've ever had. My son had the blueberry ricotta stuffed French toast. My husband had the King Kong French toast and I had the World Famous Crunchy French toast. We added two sides of homemade corned beef hash and one side of bacon. All. Of. It. Was. Ridiculously. Good. Including the coffee. If you feel nostalgic for a true old school diner experience, this is the place. This is an authentic Worcester Lunch Cart Mfg. Co. diner car with crazy stickers covering every square inch of exposed interior surfaces. An overall stellar experience! If you're in the Worcester area, DO NOT miss this place. “OMG! We just left a love fest of service and food! We loved the staff and chef, each so warm and accommodating! And it’s hard to know where to start with the food! The crème brûlée french toast was incredible, the bacon, smoky, and my chai was silky and had a perfect combo of spices. I had a spinach pie with a flaky pastry top, and others ordered a Brazilian couscous dish, a humongous omelete and a yummy veggie combo. Oh, and the smoothies? One Soursop and a mixed berry. On and on, but all to say we were very happy❣️“

“First time at this place and in the area I love how they have designated parking for us as the area seemed to be very limited. Upon walking in I was pleasantly greeted, assigned a sitting area and given a moment to look over the menu. XL beef PHO is huge!! “Went for lunch on one day and it was insanely fabulous went for breakfast another day and it was also great! Portions are HUGE definitely can split with someone or for another meal. Prices very reasonable. The only meh thing was that there was a musician at breakfast making it a bit difficult to hear. Music was great just a bit loud for breakfast. Highly recommend going. We'll have to go back sometime to try dinner.“

Not sure when I will get to Worcester, MA again but I will definitely visit La Cuchina. As a bonus, my server was a gentle soul, Michael. On multiple occasions, when opting for an alternative side instead of a salad, the selected side has been omitted from the order. Following the most recent occurrence, we contacted the establishment and were informed that a manager would be notified and a return call would be initiated. Regrettably, no follow-up communication was received. It is concerning when customer service issues are not adequately addressed, potentially due to the perception that individual concerns are inconsequential amidst high volume. While we continue to enjoy the food, we hope for an improvement in accountability and customer satisfaction. While human error is understandable, repeated errors warrant a review of operational procedures.“

“We hosted a gathering of a dozen friends and ordered take out from Anh Thu II. Our $300 order was ready and hot or cold as promised. Everyone loved the food. As examples, the eggrolls with pork were very good, the spring rolls with shrimp were very good, and the stir-fried vegetables were cooked just right. My personal favorite was the Vietnamese cabbage salad with chicken and shrimp. Excellent! We will order from them again.“

I decided to give alley CAT a chance after a BAD experience at Mama's kitchen. So I went to Mama'sKitchen. I ordered bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin with an extra slice of bacon and an OJ. She asked if I wanted a side of bacon and I said no just an extra slice on the sandwich. So she rings it up and it came to $15.45. I questioned it and asked for a refund. She explained the bill and that a side of bacon was $4.50 and I told her I didn't ask for a side. she started being rude to me telling me well thats how it goes, extra bacon comes on the side. What's sad is that a customer sitting at the counter even questioned her and why if I was asking for 1 slice of bacon that she would charge me for a whole side. Since the food wasn't cooked I asked her for a refund and she said they wouldn't do it, that "they are a small business and don't have the capability to do it" that is an absolute BS All "card swipe" machines have the ability to offer a refund. And before people start running their mouths it's only $15. It's the damn point.“

“I just got some takeout from El Buen Sanor on Chandler St in Worcester, which was delivered in about 30 minutes. Everything was still hot, and each dish was seasoned perfectly. I had the mangu with a fried egg, fried cheese, and salami. I also ordered the pernil plate with yellow rice, which came with some nice crispy pieces. The Beef empanada is one of the best I've ever had. Last but not least, the kidney beans. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to in the future, prices reasonable, all-around some great Dominican food.“

It seems like more of a take out establishment when we went to the Millbury location. But my coworker had the chicken tenders and she said her meal was equally delicious.
