“There are endless lists that recommend “the best lobster roll” you need to try. There is no better lobster roll than the one at 5 South Main - nice pillowy roll with a generous serving of lobster meat coated (but not soaked) in mayo. Also recommend the chicken Caesar wrap. The staff is always really pleasant. Have primarily gone for the takeout, but also have enjoyed dining in. Very cozy in here (4 to 6 tables). Perfect place to come when looking for a very small and quiet atmosphere. Menu is just the right size - everything is freshly prepared. Very generous pours of wine for anyone dining in for dinner.“

The steak tips are to die for, the mashed potatoes are the best we have every had, the chicken tenders, chicken ziti and broccoli and the lasagna were delicious...these are the comments I heard all night. “Where do I start!? I am from upstate New York and visiting my dad and wife and made it a point to go to E/2 and enjoy the amazing food and atmosphere. Charlie, the owner made one mean expresso martini. Our waiter, Eric was exceptional and was attentive. The Chef, George did not disappoint! Best scallops I've ever had! Pan seared monk fish with risotto was absolutely divine. My boyfriend the carnivore, enjoyed the succulent and savory tasting ribs that fell right off the bone. Thank you yet again for the amazing meal and great service. We shall be back soon!“

“Very good. I chose the smoked pork belly burger with upgrade to side salad. The burger was delish with just enough heat to give it a kick. Salad was fresh and ample portion. My dining companion chose the short rib toastie with side of fries. He deemed it very good. Nice beverage selection. Beverages properly chilled. Very good service. I will be back. Highly recommend.“

“Petra our server was truly exceptional, as were the other members of the staff. Clearly someone has done a good training job. Atmosphere, upbeat and enjoyable, beautiful views, not crowded, could be a bit loud when really busy. The food was very, very good. I recommend the beet salad with the salmon, which had an unusually crispy exterior without being overcooked. The grilled shrimp on the same beet salad were also perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. . Eggs Benedict were good although we were not fond of the Portuguese bread, but OK. The ruby red mock cocktail was outstanding.
Other than the super service the espresso was best of all!!

“I like this place. Food and service are great. Their Hall of Fame reuben is awesome. But the high top tables in the bar are perpetually sticky, for years now. Your paper drink napkins literally stick to the table. The waiter told us a long time ago it was a problem with the stain on the tables. But come on... I could fix that in an afternoon. It's a gross feeling. What are you waiting for??? Otherwise, this place is great.“

Parking can be challenging during dinner hours, so it's recommended to arrive a bit early. It is definitely recommended.“
