Unfortunately, today the shop encountered a customer who I think she doesn't have a good day. This customer uttered offensive words and insulted the staff, making one of them cry, even though that employee tried to explain that her son had ordered the wrong drink. I wonder, as a normal person, is it necessary to verbally abuse others over a few mistakes drink orders? It's disheartening to witness such behavior in a place that otherwise offers a pleasant experience.“

“This place is simple. It sells boba, and it sells waffles. I’ve tried the waffles, next time boba! But I did really love the variety it had with waffles. Lots of fun flavors like strawberry cheesecake and apple pie (which I got). I also loved how all the employees handled the waffles with care.The place was pretty busy on a Saturday evening with not a ton of space. I got my waffle in about 10 minutes and ate it on the walk to the theater.The apple pie waffle was good. The waffle itself was hot and yummy. It wasn’t a Belgian waffle, but it wasn’t a normal waffle either. The batter must have something in it to make it taste a bit different. It was pretty fluffy and held up the toppings quite well. The cinnamon apple chunks were lightly warmed and gently sweet. The “crust” was Biscoff cookies. I think a Graham cracker crumble would have been better because the Biscoff was too sweet compared to the apples and waffle.I’ll definite come again!“

“Went for my first time the other night. My friend and I Had the spiked mango lassi with boba, hibiscus House soda, red oil dumplings, pork belly buns, and not pictured were two bowls of pho. Overall loved the experience. Server was new but did a great job. Service was quick and timely. They kept our water cups topped off the whole time which was appreciated. What's helping us not to lose our minds is finding the beautiful library, our apartment in a high rise apartment complex, and some great foodie places for me to explore. I got the Fresh Mango Coconut Jelly this last Sunday, and it was scrumptiously delicious. “We stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon and there was plenty of seating available. The space was bigger than expected with booth seats and table seating. We were seated at a booth and it was quite comfortable. We ordered the Beef hot soup and the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup. No substitutions allowed but we chose to omit a couple ingredients. The medium spicy is quite spicy so I would recommend going milder and using the chili dipping sauce on the side. Both broths were flavorful enough that you don't necessarily need the soy garlic sauce provided. I immediately turned off the flame under the hot pot because I didn't want the beef to overcook. I do wish there was an option to turn it back on without having to call someone over to light it again. Lunch meals come with a choice of iced green tea or black tea and choice of white rice or vermicelli. Tea was already sweetened, might've been a tad sweet for my liking though. Wait staff was efficient and friendly. There is a call bell on the table that alerts staff that you need something, otherwise they are not really checking up on you. Overall a solid satisfying lunch!“
“I love coming to Gong Cha in Davis. The ambience is really nice and the music creates a nice atmosphere, it's not too loud and adds to the space. I come here to study a lot and there's plenty of places to study alone or with friends. The service is quick and the drinks are really yummy, my favorite is the mango green tea with coconut jelly and boba. The drinks tend to be on the sweet side so I usually go for less sugar. Really great spot, I'll definitely be coming here more often to study and snack on boba!“

Plus, there's a fantastic bookstore nearby where you can pass the time while waiting!We all opted for ramen, and it didn't disappoint in terms of portion size and satisfaction. While the “spicy” fried chicken is not particularly spicy, it has a pleasant flavor. They also aren’t cheap on serving sizes. These are true full chicken wings, not cut in half. The serving of 8 wings is definitely enough for one adult. If you order to-go, the take out bags are surprisingly high-quality as well. They will not rip, and certainly warrant a re-use. I didn't watch them make it, but that's kind of what it looked and tasted like. I would actually order this again. It was smooth and so... different! Lol~The Strawberry Milk Tea was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. It looks exactly how I wanted it to look like, and it tasted even better!!! The whole thing was just FANTASTIC. It tasted CUTE! I came in and ordered my bubble tea and sat down to wait. 20 minutes went by and I asked when my drink would be ready and they didn’t know I had ordered, despite that I did in fact order with them. They apologized and refunded me and made my tea. After I left I realized there was no boba in the tea. I was the only one in the shop for the entire 30 minute trip. I will continue to go back here because the bubble tea is so amazing, but tonight was a disappointing and strange experience.“
