We sat and ordered, and it all seemed rushed as if it were timed. The food came really fast and wasn't as good as the lunches. “We ate lunch at Himalaya Curry House for the first time this afternoon. We highly recommend. The food was phenomenal-excellent Northern Indian cuisine. (I don’t like Southern Indian cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very generous and we both went home with enough left over for another entire meal. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice spiced with Cumin. My daughter had the Black Pepper chicken, same rice and we shared a side of Aloo Gobi cauliflower florets in a spicy, creamy sauce. There was complimentary chutneys (3 different flavors served with pita crackers. My patient’s family is from Northern India and the mom cooks exquisite Indian food. Fed me home made dinner every work night. That is how I was introduced to spectacular Northern Indian food , so I have a good palate for high quality. The atmosphere is average. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful assisting us with our choices. We will definitely go back again to try different entrees. The menu is extensive!“

The cakes are lovely, the frosting was perfect. We tried this almond tart that was delightful. The owners and the staff are all delightful, helpful, and friendly. “Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

“Have always enjoyed the food, eating in or take out. During covid when open we enjoyed many a meal and always felt our business was appreciated. Tonight my wife called to place an order ( of roughly 200.00 to 250.00) for our family. Understandably it took a while for the phone to be answered and when it was and my wife said " hello I would like to place a take out order" received " we are not taking take out orders this eve" and was abruptly hung up on. We have been loyal supporters of this establishment pretty since it opened. Never spending another penny here. Our money was great when things were lean, sadly unappreciated. Thanks.“

“Tonight was the best dining experience we have had in two years! The drinks were awesome, the food was piping hot and came out on the hot plates, even the last bite was hot! My daughter’s plate from the kids menu even looked delicious, and she enjoyed every bite. Most impressive was the service- Yanina was terrific, she was so happy the entire time, we never needed anything during our entire visit, she was one step ahead of us every time! “Sometimes they forget one or two complementary food items (e.g. bag of chips) via drive through but it's usually a quick fix if you speak with them. There has also been times when I'd pay for the baked goods (also via drive through), but it turns out they don't have them in stock. Food is great. Wish they brought back their double chocolate chip muffins though!“

“Love it when the coffee truck is at Brox Farm on Sundays. The lattes are incredibly smooth and delicious and recently we stopped by the shop on Market Street and the food was fresh and great! My only regret is we didn't find it sooner.“
