“My fiance and I go to the black and white at least twice a week sometimes more. All of the staff is great from Christina one of the managers to cam and Leann at the bar to all the servers we’ve had. We went in today (may 27) and they were busy as usual but our sever Kylie was fast and effective! It was also my 30th birthday and Kylie went above and beyond to make sure I felt special today. “Stopped here with my son and his friend on the way to camp. I ordered a steak and cheese and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much…Just something to fill up on for lunch. \n\nI can’t tell you how absolutely blown away I was. As a steak and cheese aficionado of many years, and having eaten them all over the US, including Philadelphia….I can actually say it is the best one I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to get back there.“

“Ordered a party size pepperoni and couldn't have been more satisfied. The roni slices were thicker than average, I couldn't even see space between them. It was 3 times normal. The sauce was perfect, not too sweet, no mint which some places use. Simple and pure. As far as the dough goes, there were more air pockets than in Joe Bidens brain. I remember this type of dough from my Greek grandmother when she would sit on the floor and beat the mixture in a stainless 30 qrt bowl as she made everything with flour every Sunday to last the week. Truly amazing. The quaint dimly lit interior with few tables reminds me of my fathers small bakery he had in Boston when we came to the country from Greece in the early 70's. Ill be going back.“

“Another stop from our travels, we took another route from Sturbridge area and we had past this months ago. This time we knew we were headed there, so we wanted to give it a go. Food was good, beverages were good, it was not super busy. The last time we passed this place the lot was pretty busy. We both had the baked stuff haddock with lobster sauce. I had a Wormtown beer and my wife had White Russian style drink.“

“Fantastic food at a truly insane price. Got the hot and spicy chicken luncheon and paid like six dollars in 2023 which is unheard of. The chicken had a nice smoky flavor, the vegetables had a nice char, and the fried rice was really tasty. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Southbridge, I might even go out of my way to come back!“

“I’ve lived in boston all my life and recently just moved to Sturbridge. I regularly visit Teddy G’s for dinner and a cocktail … and I have to say .. the food is really good and tastes fresh … but the best experience is the guys at the bar … top notch h at what they do , Tony and Fran … I’m sure they other bartenders that work there on the days I’m not able to make are amazing also … but those two guys don’t miss a beat and keep the people entertained and happy … I’ll be visiting a lot more, now that I’m living in Sturbridge . Great spot to eat and have a drink .“

Pizza had a bunch of toppings and the chicken on the salad was warm and seasoned well. Will absolutely be on the top of my list for pizza and other bites. Definitely recommend!“

“Went here for lunch on a Sunday, I had their Garlic Bread for an appetizer, along with a BBQ bacon grilled chicken sandwich and a couple of 20 oz 7 Saws Sugar Shack Porters, and I gotta say I found my new favorite beer, (It used to be the Vanilla Porter from Breckenridge Brewery out of Colorado but MAN this Sugar Shack porter was absolutely delicious) as well as my favorite place to eat in Sturbridge. I'm from Indiana and didn't really know what to expect out here on the east coast but I had a great experience overall. My only complaint is that they forgot the bacon and cheese on my sandwich and they put mayo on it which wasn't supposed to be on it, but somehow it was still delicious just like it was and I really loved the beer, it just complimented the meal so perfectly. I'm sitting outside right now letting it all settle and I couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend this joint if you're in town or a local looking for a good meal.“
