“Great location. The service was friendly but way too fast. We were served all of our food within 5 minutes of ordering. That made the table very crowded and we had to eat out hot food first instead of the appetizers. It was ridiculously expensive. We didn’t order the raw oysters as they were $37 for 6 with mignonette sauce. We couldn’t believe they charge an extra $5 for sauce. The sushi was good. We loved being on the marina and able to look at the boats.“

Let the amazing waitress earn her tips! She deserved them!“

“The pizza was so great that even our small (pizza picky) daughters approved! We loved sitting outside and watching the drawbridge go up and down for the friendly boaters who gave a wave on their way by. The staff were sweet and obliged with our family photo request. Service was fast so we had plenty of time to make the ferry without rushing. We come to the area every summer and will be back for pizza again next time!“

“I got the blackened mahi mahi baja bowl - it is absolutely incredible. Have had a lot of tacos in my life on the east and west coasts & in Mexico, this has to be at the top of the list as one of the best Ive had. The service was friendly and kind, felt like a place where locals are regulars, staff call you by name and ask how youre doing. Plus the place is super clean and has restrooms and local art on display.“

It's a bit pricy but good. We were a bit disappointed that the protein add cost to the drunken noodle makes it very expensive and more than it is worth. It might have received PR-magazine accolades but when steak was added it was over 35+$$$. Sorry but just too much for what it is. A small bowl of noodles. The fresh rolls were amazing. The flat bread is just ok... $24 for half a pizza. We've eaten all over the world so we are a good judge of both food quality and value. We are also willing to pay more for experience views ambiance but this just really doesn't add up.“

Amy had Chicken Milanese which was cooked to perfection , fresh and served just right. Then we shared Crème Brûlée which was heavenly. Our waitress was attentive and professional. She made the evening warm and festive and it was a wonderful experience all around. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!“

“A real hidden gem!
After 4 hours of cycling around the area, my wife and I were looking for refreshments. In the UK we'd have passed numerous pubs in that time, but less so here in New England. Quite by chance we happened across Grumpy's and couldn't have asked for a better watering hole.
The venue itself is brimming with character and history, and there's definitely something for everyone! Pool, darts, pinball, arcade games and a wonderful host in Kevin.
The drinks seemed really reasonably priced, and I would have happily stayed all day if I could have!
There are t many places to choose from around here that have the vibe and soul of Grumpy's, and so if that's what your looking for, this is the place to be!
If we are ever in the area again, we'll definitely be stopping by!“

Every bartender there always remembers my husband and I's order but more importantly they are all extremely personable and make the entire experience more enjoyable every time! I recently got married and because of my many great experiences at Sandwich Taverna, we immediately thought of them to host our after party and my expectations were exceeded! “We had an exceptional experience at Villaggio last Wednesday evening. Our waiter, Tim, was helpful, humorous and attentive (without being too attentive!). The food was delicious and plentiful. We ate in one of the small intimate rooms where we were the only diners. I would highly recommend!“
