“This Cafe experience is not your normal Friendly's trip. Order at the counter and go find a seat for your food to be brought to the table. We didn't get a menu, just ordered familiar sundaes from the board on the wall. I will say the 2 girls behind the counter were hustling to make all the sundaes, cones and shakes non stop the whole time we were there. We were on vacation and there are no longer any near us so this was a welcomed visit.“

Probably not a common comment, but my view of the kitchen from the register it’s a very clean and neat setup. “We ended up here due to our intended restaurant being closed. It was the BEST mistake ever. The food was amazing! Everything came out hot and fresh. Julie (the owner) answered all our questions about the restaurant, shared her and her husband's story and it truly felt like we were dining with family. We had the brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, potatoes, yams and garlic chicken. And then Julie brought us churros for Cinco de Mayo! It was hard to pick just one meal off this menu. I wish my conference was longer so I had another night to come back and try more. “I had a surprise 40th for my husband at the Grill at Cooper Hill and they did a wonderful job! I was able to get in earlier in the day to decorate how I wanted, and create a space that accommodated a large group of people. Joe and Deanna were so great at the bar! They were fun and friendly and great at keeping up with the busy bar action! The food was delicious. The kitchen staff was able to keep pace with refilling trays as they became low. Kristin was always available if I had questions prior to the party. She was so helpful in weeks leading up. It’s such a great, laid back atmosphere for a party. I would highly recommend using their space to host your next event!“

“Krispy Krunchy Chicken, 190 E. Eau Gallie Blvd., Indian Harbor Beach, FL 32937 You 4 Stars (chain restaurant review) Instead of going for a quick Burger or Taco, why not mix it up a bit and head over to your local KKC and change up the routine? Yes, I said KKC, not KFC. The one my random name generator directed me to in Indian Harbor Beach, FL, is 1 of over 2,700 locations across 47 of these United States and some in Malaysia and American Samoa, mainly in convenience stores and gas stations. This one beachside is super clean and, well, beachside. As I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted by Ryan. He is the counter specialist and cook as well. Ryan has a fetching personality and was exceedingly helpful as we placed our order. I ordered some Honey Biscuits, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish and some Cajun Chicken Tenders. Ryan excused himself to the kitchen while we sat and snapped a few pictures of the place. As I said, it is clean enough to pass any white glove test. I thought it would be nice if the tables had a virginal to pass the time when Ryan indicated our order was up. If a place is advertising hand-breaded chicken, their biscuits better not be the Sysco plug-n-play variety and these weren't. They were obviously made to order and outstanding on the palate. Baked to a perfect golden brown, these were warm, flaky and drizzled in honey. I would rate the biscuits at 4.5 Stars and these are worth the trip all by themselves. They would also make a great after-school/work/errand snack. Next, I took a sampling of the Fried Shrimp. This was nothing to write home about but nothing to scoff at either. The shrimp were of a good size and deep fried to a pleasing color, just missing a little "oomph" to push them over a slightly above-average rating of 3 Stars. Moving on, I set my peepers on the Fried Fish. If the Fried Shrimp was slightly above average, the Fried Fish was slightly below. The Fish had an ever so light fishy taste and as we all know, it shouldn't. The Fried Fish, by itself, would have a meager 2-star rating. This brings me to the final item in my order, the Cajun Chicken Tenders. I went with the 6 PCs, which is a good thing I did as they weren't long for the table! How could you go wrong with hand-breaded breast tenders in a savory coating with tasty dipping sauces? The Tenders were deep fried to a model color and doneness that would make Gordon Ramsay say, "Now, that's an Effin' chicken tender!" If I were just rating the Tenders, this would be a 4.5 Star review all day, every day. As it is, I'm sticking with the 4 Star until they get fresher fish. The Big Boy says, "You know you want some, so just give in and go."“

“I used to go here years ago for lunch all the time, haven't been in for a visit in many years. Stopped in June of 2025, WOW! Waitress provided FAST, POLITE and GREAT service. FOOD WAS AMAZING! “Picks did an outstanding job on dinner last night for Valentines. The steak was cooked perfectly and they accommodated a gluten and dairy allergy with advance notice nicely. The salmon was also great! Service was outstanding and this place is like a hidden gem steps away from MGM Springfield. We even returned for breakfast. They had a great fritta for breakfast. Nothing but the gravy was made with milk or butter.“
