“We're from Wisconsin and had breakfast March 31 in your restaurant. I wish I could remember our waitress' name, but she was delightful. I had the (canned)corned beef hash omelet and loved it. I've never seen an omelet shaped the way you serve it, but again it was terrific on looks alone! You folks do a marvelous job.“

My bacon egg and cheese bagel I felt was definitely overpriced at $8.50 and unfortunately the cheese was bland, I think they used a white cheddar that just didnt have much flavor, and the bacon, while flavorful when taken out of the sandwich and eaten by itself, it didn’t really give enough flavor to the sandwich as a whole. It tasted better when it was taken apart and ate as separate components. The egg part of it also looked like it was premade or it was synthetic eggs… it didnt look like it came off a griddle from fresh cracked eggs. Overall it was unfortunately a bland BEC. I did appreciate the thick cut bacon that they used although they only put one slice it seemed. If I go back, I’ll ask for American cheese and maybe it’ll taste better next time.“

“My daughter and I had to get dinner and not many places were open on a Monday at 8:30. My daughter found Johnnys and we called to verify we could order and eat there as kitchen closes at 9:00. This was our first time there and it will not be the last time. The waiter was very informative when it came to the food. Told us a lot of the favorites and description of it. We had a hard time deciding and he (Gabriel) brought us a sample of a sauce to taste. Glad he did, it was too spicy for us…. We’re whimps. We ended up ordering the potstickers, sticky ribs and the beef tips with broccoli and garlic noodles. All were outstanding! Yes we brought home left overs (mine were gone when I got home not reheated. OMG!). If you choose not to try them (more for us) but big mistake. It’s our new favorite restaurant and we live at least 30 minutes away.“

“What can I say? This restaurant is an institution. There is no Indian food like it in the United States. Truly authentic and delicious, extremely reasonable prices, perfect ambiance, and wonderfully hospitable. The staff are very kind, personal, and professional. Whether it be Kerala fish curry, puri bhaji from Mumbai, or tandoori chicken, the food covers a vast array of Indian dishes from many regions of the country, with the dinner and lunch buffet alike being plentifully tasty and fulfilling. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is full of community, with many people, from college students to retirees, coming together to enjoy a feast under its roof. As someone who has a deep appreciation of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say that this is some of the best Indian food you will ever find. “this is one of my favorite places to go for Gluten-free food. I love their East West burrito bowl with extra veggies and my boyfriend always gets the beef brisket burrito with bacon (he adds it.) One time he got the burrito and he realized he didn't like the thick grilled onions in it. I wrote in explaining the onions were cut very thick (I know that writing in to complain is a bit dramatic but I also praised how much we love their food.) well, they edited their online ordering to include an option to select "no onions." we eat there at least once a week because the prices are so reasonable with quality of food top notch. 5 stars!“

“Food was delicious. My sister in law was visiting from Iowa and she wanted a good mofongo. And this is the place we chose. We had it with arroz con gandules and pernil. We also tried the alcapurrias and my son went for an empanadilla de pizza. I can say that everything exceeded our expectations. Mofongo was soft and moist not dry like other places, and the right amount of crunchy. The alcapurrias were not hot but was still good. We are definitely coming back!! Definitely recommend!!“

It has been a year since I’ve been here and I came back today for brunch and I’m pleased to say that my experience was not good, it was outstanding. The food was tremendous, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and under control, and it was really great to observe the productive flow of the team members & management, and the satisfaction of every other customer in the establishment during my time in Johnny’s. For a popular local establishment that serves a diverse variety of communities and college students, I couldn’t have been more impressed. Always check your order while there. 3 times they put the wrong ingredients on. Make them repeat your order. They are very busy. I can see why they sometimes write down the wrong toppings.“

“Really impressed with Omi Omy! Was visiting the area for work. It's super conveniently located in the Big Y plaza. Got chicken vermicelli noodle bowl, fresh spring rolls, and a pork banh mi. I live in Boston and always get my banh mi in Chinatown and omg, this was BETTER! The bread is something special. Crispy, yet chewy, fresh, impeccable. Their ratio of toppings to meat to sauce was spot on. It was truly perfect. I will dream about it forever. Fresh spring rolls were huge, the peanut sauce was a little watery but they were still good. Vermicelli w/ fish vinegar sauce was great as well. Really fair prices and delicious food. Absolutely worth a stop!“
