“This place has the BEST roast beef! I had ordered from Pomodori not long ago and took two bites and threw it out. It was thick, tough, had tons of fat all over it. It was so unpleasant. Then I found this place, Nicks, and am so excited I did because this is what a real roast beef sandwich should taste like!“

“03/07/24 Passing through a town I've never been in and stopped for a bite. Think "local pub" with much more warmth & better menu. Saw sushi on the menu & laughed a little until I looked up reviews. I tried the wicked tuna roll & was so awesomely surprised & satisfied. They have Maine Lunch IPA on draft which made my day. Their specials included Portuguese Stew & Short Rib Tacos. Friendly staff & spoke to an even friendlier manager. It'd be my local if I lived there. Give them a try!“

“We hosted my daughter's bridal shower on February 3rd. My daughter told me that it was even better than she dreamed it could be! Dayna and her team were amazing! “We LOVE Loretta Restaurant. It is our favorite go to for a girl's luncheon, a romantic dinner, or a dinner out with friends. The food is superb, we have never had anything but delicious mouth watering lunches and dinners. The meals are made to order and you can ask for special care for allergies. We have never been rushed so the table can turn over! The wait staff is personable and a pleasure. I highly recommend a visit and a meal, if you do you will come back! And the owner is always there to make sure things run smoothly and all leave happy!“

“Love Keon's. The food is so yummy. They take ordinary meals that you might make at home but their spin on it is hard to compete with. Really tasty. Cozy ambiance. Plan ahead. Limited seating so be sure to try to get a reservation or get there early. Downtown Haverhill so parking can be a challenge. But worth the effort.“

She was attentive to all her tables ... it was very busy but she never made you feel like she didn't have time. It is a bit loud when the entire place is full but we were sat closer to the kitchen & it was a the perfect table. I was surprised the sounds were not overwhelming. We did have to wait for about 40 minutes for a table ... but it was Saturday @ dinner time. We chose to wait instead of sitting at the bar. We took our favorite pizza home with us .. fig & prosciutto... they did change the recipe but it was still amazing! Stop by if you're looking for great dishes or an outstanding pizza!“

“Five stars. I really enjoyed this place. First of all clean. I like the local pictures. The halloween decorations nicely done.I ordered French toast stuffed with raspberry jam and cream cheese. It's four slices. With butter, powder sugar, and cinnamon. Had to have it with New Hampshire syrup and oj. You'll hope it tastes as good as it sounds well it does. Also had blueberry muffin. It is moist fresh and flavorful. It has blueberrys threw out not just in cap. She ask if I wanted it warmed up with butter. After the French toast I decided to take it to go. They gave me butter and silverware with it. Couldn't ask for better service. I recommendation this place hole heartedly. You will enjoy you meal.“

“We just tried something different from our favorite Pizza & Sub shop. I usually get a pizza or steak and cheese, this time I got the steak bomb. OMG it was so delicious it was ridiculous. Hot, and bursting with flavor! My Wife got the Greek chicken wrap and it was equally delicious. According to Yelp this Restaurant gets only 3 stars. I have no idea why.“

“The food was unbelievable I got a 3 way roast beef and I can honestly say it was one of the best roast beef's in the Northshore. Service was good it was quick and the workers were nice. The only thing was it was expensive and they didn't give me as much beef as I would of liked.“

We really enjoyed our time in Ipswich; some of the nicest and friendliest people we have ever met.We arrived at the Inn around lunch time and asked for suggestions for lunch; we tried them all during our stay and loved them all. Oh, and the breakfast at the Inn is great; we are missing walking downstairs to a great breakfast every morning.Love the location of the Inn. Basically, overlooks the town and everything is within walking distance. The Choate Bridge Pub and Brown Dog Restaurant are an easy walk straight down the hill from the Inn; we tried them both and enjoyed them both. I believe the Brown Dog was our favorite; ate there three time during the week and met some very nice people there.Also, the Ipswich Ale Brewery is worth a visit with good food and beer. While in town, if you want to try something different, check out the 1634 Meadery. Very cool.We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return some day; hopefully bring the grandkids next time. You will not be disappointed with the Ipswich Inn Bed and Breakfast.“

“We were in the area this week to visit family and ate at the Village Pancake House for three meals. Each one was perfect, the servers are friendly and efficient, and we left very happy!I got the same breakfast each day: scrambled eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes. I have spoken to the employee's and to the owner on several different occasions & always receive timely, honest responses. “Just moved to the Boston area and celebrated our anniversary here. The clam chowder was excellent NE, and the French Onion soup was classic. I had the baked oysters, which was a first for me and I'd return for them as well as the mussels! We had the special Sea Bass and the Seafood Risotto, both large portions and excellent! Their special Old Fashion was made the same way as my all time favorite of bourbon on the rocks with an orange slice or twist but made perfect muddled with sugar and cherries. The Old Fashioned and wine were huge free pours. Reservations are difficult to get, so plan early and let them respond with availability. The large private parking lot is not large enough!! Cars were overflowing to the side street! Will return for sure!“

“This charming old school diner/cafe is my go-to place when I am in town. Well prepared, vast choice of traditional breakfasts, with outstanding home made corned beef hash. Lunch specials are usually good as well. His fish chowder on Fridays only Are worth travelling far for. I reccimmend.“

The new one which I was not aware had been changed over from the old location was absolutely fantastic. We went at 2 pm for an Easter reservation ! The food was absolutely wonderful ! The service was as good as the food ! We are on the second level ! The place is spotless ! Clean and new ! Our waitress was amazing ! She was right there from beginning to end making sure we had enough water and drinks were full etc ! The kitchen helpers who assisted with the food delivery were fantastic ! They helped the waitress out perfectly! It was very busy as it was Easter ! The food was ordered, muscles. Sushi, which is excellent ! And steak tips and apple filled raviolis and a had a Caesar with chicken tips ! Calamari my son had was excellent ! There was not one thing to complain about. All the other guests around us were getting great service and their food was served very quickly I noticed! The Host and Hostess at the front door greeted us promptly and on our leaving were greeted and thanked for coming. Al I will say is , we will be back ! The new roof top deck looks awesome! It overlooks Newburyport while also being private from onlookers walking below. ! The place gets 5 stars hands down ! Great job Black cow and all the workers on a busy Easter holiday ! Thank you !“

“Hadn't been here since pandemic, and they had completely re modeled, atmosphere was more cozy, bar added in and appealed too young and old. I sat on on new dining side. The food was delicious as always and all the servers were very friendly.“

“I have continually gone there with friends for lunch. We usually order the platter for one at lunchtime is plenty of food for two people I have done this at least 20 times. Nothing changes everything is perfect. We get the combination onion rings and french fries with it. It comes with haddock clams scallops shrimp just amazing wonderful seafood, the best on the North Shore. I've been going there since they open four years ago and I've never had anything bad. All their luncheon specials are really a deal , the seafood is fantastic clam chowder, perfect coleslaw, perfect and their steak tips and steaks are probably the best in the area. I give them five stars and would give them them more if I could.“

“No glitz and glam, simple place, good food. Plenty of parking, inside and outside is a little outdated. But the food did not disappoint, the steak was cooked to my liking and flavorful. It was my first time there and everyone seemed like regulars, so customers and servers were super friendly. Very chill vibe and great place to grab a drink after work.“

“The small burger chain, Lexie's, should not be missed. They have a handful of locations in Massachusetts and NH. The one in Newburyport is on the main drag and is easy to get to. The dining room is small but clean and bright with neat artwork on the walls. Piped in music was not too loud. The staff is friendly and engaging. Their burgers are just the right size, never too big and not too small. Delightfully messy and tasty! Their fries are perfect and can be ordered in a few different ways. Definitely stop for lunch or dinner!“

We got a glazed which was delicious, a sea salt chocolate that was really good, a maple which was probably my favorite, and a glazed chocolate cake donut which is the reason for the 4 stars. The cake donut was dry. I don't know if their cake donuts are supposed to be as dry as this donut was but we didn't finish it. Their regular brioche donuts are fantastic but I can't recommend skipping the cake donuts enough.“
