The husband said the cookies were great and had several every night for a bedtime snack. They had peanut butter chocolate chip and traditional chocolate chip. Both were winners! “My wife and I took our 3 year old daughter to check out this new coffee shop after it came up in a Google search. Let me say I had not met the couple that owns the shop before today, and yet I have never felt so invested in wanting to see a new shop succeed as much as I did this one! The owners are a lovely young couple, extremely friendly, and accommodating. They love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. I ordered the Pi (egg sandwich) and a cold brew coffee. Both were excellent. They roast their own coffee beans and it had just the right amount of roasted coffee flavor. There were a dozen other things I wanted to try, including the creme brulee cheescake, the baklava cheese cake, and the Greek pies. My wife got a hot coffee with almond milk, mocha and peppermint. I like my coffee creamy, and this was the first coffee with almond milk that tasted good to me. I have found my new favorite coffee shop in the area. Whatever you're doing, drop it and visit Coffee & Pi now!“

They dont have espresso, which I thought was odd but its only a small gripe.

“Acoustic is a first class coffee roaster and coffee spot. The coffee is excellent, try the co-ferment, it is unbelievably smooth. They serve fresh pastry and everyone is very patient and helpful if you have a question about the coffee. It's an interesting space and the owner and staff are passionate about coffee. Also, try the iced Chai latte.“

“Sending email with payment due 3 days before its due... Does bursar or anyone in that office have thousands of $ in their account to be able to make that kind of payment on such a short notice? Why do they expect an average parent to be able to have it? I find it disrespectful and straigh up abuse. How is a student supposed to concentrate on learning with this kind of surprises? He registered few months ago!!! And you had to wait for the last 3 days to notify? if you want horrible communication about financial part - that's your school. Teachers are great. Bursar's office is a constant source of stress and will not volunteer any information - should be working as spies.“

“Denise and her team just catered my wedding this past Saturday. We are so beyond pleased with everything. Presentation was splendid. Our guests loved the food (especially the crab cakes!) and there was plenty of food to ensure everyone was full. And then the dessert was utterly over-the-top. My grandmother, who hardly ever indulges in sweets, ate about 10 blueberry tarts. The macarons (my #1 request) were all delicious. Beyond everything, the reason to work with Elm’s Cafe is because of Denise. She was a delight to work with- relaxed, attentive, detail-oriented. “Located in a used to be residential building with high ceiling and wooden floor. Spacious and plenty of natural lighting. This restaurant offers a combination of rustic, homie and romance vibes. Food tasted good, service was good, the price is on the higher side. Outdoor seating area during the summer time is quite enjoyable. I’d recommend it.“
