“I think I finally found a local business I can support instead of going to Starbucks! The iced lattes here are delicious and the baked goods are FRESH. My friend said her nitro brew was on point. We’re both lactose intolerant and were glad they had all the alternative milk options. The cappuccino are true cappuccino (not lattes being mislabeled as cappuccinos).My neighbor and I enjoy meeting here to practice each other’s first language (she’s learning English; I’m learning Portuguese). There’s Wifi for when we need Google Translate and it’s quiet enough to hear each other (but loud enough that we aren’t uncomfortable chatting the entire time). “Suzette offers excellent, fresh, and authentic French crepes and macarons at very affordable prices. The staff is friendly and offers amazing service. I have been many times, and have recently ordered macarons for an event. Over the many instances my friends, family and I have eaten there, I have had nothing short of a flawless experience. “Last night before the Judds concert, we were looking for a place to have dinner. Most places right around the venue were at least an hour wait. We ended up a couple blocks from away at a place called deadhorse hill . It was a small place, not a huge menu but a decent selection of options. The greeter was prompt and polite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and funny with a quick wit. While we waited for our meal, I observed the bartender expertly measuring, stirring and shaking drinks while engaged in friendly chatting with other staff and people at the bar. Our food was great. We each got burgers and fries and they were delicious. When the bill came, there was a 20% tip already factored in. I've seen this done for large parties before but it was just three of us. Apparently it was stated on the menu, I hadn't seen it. I'm paraphrasing here because I don't recall the exact wording but basically they said the reason they do it is so that all staff is paid equally and they earn enough to make a livable wage. I thought that was pretty cool and then it dawned on me, our waitress was truly one of the best I've ever had. In truth, she didnt have to be. Technically, she was already getting her 20% guaranteed. She didnt have to put in any extra effort. The same goes for the rest of the staff. To me, this made it all the more impressive. The backs of the shirts they all wore said, "Don't be a Pickle kicker". Couldn't figure out what that meant so we asked our waitress. She told us that some time ago back they first opened, a young man worked there and when it got busy and he was building the sandwiches and a pickle fell to the floor, he would just kick it under the fridge. When other staff would clean they would find piles of pickles under there. So its a message to everyone on staff to think of each other, take pride in their work and don't be lazy. I thought that was pretty amazing. All in all, if you ever find yourself in Worcester, MA for a concert or event at the DCU Center, go early and have dinner at Deadhorse Hill. Well worth it and a wonderful experience.“

The variety and customization is next level and Maddie has created a safe space for people to connect, relax and be themselves. “Picked up soup and sandwiches to go on a whim and they were all delicious. All together we had the grilled cheese and tomato soup, Italian, and roast beef - everyone was happy. The food was ready quickly, and the salads, cookies, and drinks in the coolers when I went to pick up the order looked really colorful and are reason enough to go back and try something new. Also maybe worth noting - I'm not really a pickle person, but the sandwiches came with sides of sliced pickles. Best I have ever had and I was wishing there were more. I think I like pickles now. “I got the Angry Italian sandwich, which was delicious only they forgot the provolone. I asked for no mayo or mortadella so thats also why it looks a bit thin in the picture. I only wish I had asked for extra lettuce! My boyfriend got the Firehouse Smoked Turkey, his had provolone on it. Cashier was kind and let me know they were out of a couple things right away, which helped me choose my sandwich. “This place it's cute, casual, like you are walking into Grandma's house through the back door (the kitchen) Service it's great, very friendly staff, they serve your first cup of tea, loved that. The food was to die for, everything was amazing. We got to try some new things and the scones were the best I ever had, so much so that I didn't even miss the clotted cream (they make their own, it's different but still good)Lovely atmosphere with a bunch of friendly people.The only thing is that it took an hour and a half for us to get our food. “Very beautiful bistro. It took approximately 30 minutes for us to get a table on weekend.While we waited we started with coffee and macaroons. Coffee was really good and macaroons were perfect. Staff were very friendly. Ask for quiche of the day if you are non- vegetarian, they are delicious. Babettes’ feast was scrumptious. We did not find many vegetarian savoury options. I have visited this place twice before and I absolutely love coming here for brunch.“

My personal favorites are the lavender latte (it sounds weird but it's incredible, I promise), the caramel latte (basic, I know, but it's so rich and flavorful), and for a quick bite, I absolutely slam back the avocado toast. I'm going to fall into a deep depression when I graduate, and won't be in the area anymore, but I'm enjoying it while I can.“

So light and fluffy with fudge in the middle.The atmosphere was extremely welcoming, the woman who took our order was a little less pleasant as we were taking our time looking around and figuring out what to order and she seemed to want to speed us up.The decorations are all coffee mugs that are also all unique and it was fun trying to look at all of them. Every time I go I try something different and so far everything has been delicious, healthy 7 grains, traditional French, Irish soda bread (both traditional and white chocolate cranberry were amazing!) all different kinds of muffins and their scones! “Small but fast service. Usually stop Saturday and Sunday on the way to Market 32. My breakfast is usually apple pie topping on texas, french toast or pancakes 12 inch each. Either 1 to 4 each. My wife likes a simpler breakfast with Popeye French toast. Middle of toast round cutout with fried egg in hole, get fried toast hole on side. Prices were not raised as high during recession as chains. . .Parking: Plenty of spots.Kid-friendliness: More adults than kids. Mostly singles and couples. The staff remembers guests ons weekly visits. Fast Service. Coffee cups kept full. Very friendly. Customers will change seats to accommodate new customers.“

“This little coffee shop is like a taste of California when I visit Northborough. I live in the Bay Area now, and when I visit family in Massachusetts, this is like a fun little oasis of vegan treats, delicious smoothies, excellent coffees, and friendly vibes. “My recent first visit to lunch at Mendon Street Kitchen in downtown Uxbridge, Massachusetts was a delightful experience. We took our two grandchildren. The outside dining area has great atmosphere with umbrella tables and fun decorations that appeal to adults and children. Our grandchildren loved the grilled cheese with bacon sandwich. My lobster roll was delicious, and my wife enjoyed her BLT sandwich. I learned that Mendon Street Kitchen is a proud sponser of "First Night," a huge Christmas parade in downtown Uxbridge each December. Mendon Street Kitchen is a wonderful boutique eatery. “Great Bar - Nice Patrons My friends and I came across this bar after eating at the Italian place up this street. Everyone at Cicero's seemed to know each other - it was obvious that we were new there (out of place?), but everyone was really nice to us. I chatted with many other patrons there. The guy sitting next to us won a game he was playing, and bought drinks for everyone at the bar including us. Very comfortable atmosphere. Women's bathroom was very clean. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I don't live in the area, but if I am again, I will definitely go back. Thanks“
