“I grew up all my life going to Pizza Palace (I’m now nearly 40 yrs old btw just to help paint a better image of “all my life” lol.) THEIR PIZZA is truly one of a kind!!! The GF pizza is also SOOOOO GOOD! Usually places that do both reg & GF, the GF tastes NOWHERE NEAR as good as the regular. But this place, their GF pizza was JUST AS PERFECT as their “regular” pizza.

Also. Their salads, o mmmmm gggg…. Yes they are “just a salad”. BUTTTTTTT, this place has always had this ONE AMAZING house dressing that literally JUST MADE the meal! It MADE the salad taste a hundred times better! And I just recently found out that the woman who has made that dressing all these years is now no longer there… so NOWWWWW IN ALL MY years of life, and started to eat salad at just younger than a year even lol. LITERALLY, THEEEEEE BEST PART ABOUT THIS PLACE, was their house dressing and salads !!!!!

If anyone has information on -* WHAT KIND** of “house dressing” they used, & even find out info for a or **ThEe* closest recipe, to finally be able to bottle it up for later use. Oh boy. Someone’s at the dooooorrrrr!!!! OHHHH MY GAWD!“

“We're from Wisconsin and had breakfast March 31 in your restaurant. I wish I could remember our waitress' name, but she was delightful. I had the (canned)corned beef hash omelet and loved it. I've never seen an omelet shaped the way you serve it, but again it was terrific on looks alone! You folks do a marvelous job.“

We stopped in for lunch today and as always the spring rolls, soup, and rice bowl were the perfect meal for a cool almost-fall afternoon. I’m a big fan of their coconut-based curry soup with udon noodles - it makes me feel as though my whole body is smiling with contentment. “BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Love Cana's BBQ !! - This was always my 'go to' restaurant whenever I had guests, but I am afraid it will no longer be the case. We will drive to Amherst/Northampton in future. I recently had relatives from England and we always come to Cana when they are here BUT This time was a huge disappointment. We ordered the BBQ only to find out that their selection of sides had been reduced from 10 to 5. Even the broccoli was reduced to 2 very small pieces. How are you going to split that between 4 people? The other 5 sides which were usually included, are now available for additional cost. Their prices are not cheap to start with, but we have not complained because the food is really good, but to spoil one's reputation for the sake of a few cents to add a few more pieces of broccoli, or a full selection of sides for a party of four, is certainly not the way to increase your bottom line because now you have lost these customers.. With drinks and dessert our bill was close to $200, and we always spend at least that mic at Cana!“

“Five stars for food and nice people. The place is small and there's a lot of pressure to eat and get out, so that's not ideal. I haven't ordered anything off their Americanized food menu so no, I can't tell you if their General Tso's Chicken is better than the deep fried sugar-coated glop down the street...but their other stuff is excellent. The wonton noodle soup in particular is THE comfort food that will keep you alive in the winter cold.

One other downside, their hours vary and change and they vanish from time to time. If this is more than a short and convenient trip for you, ALWAYS call first to make sure they are open.“

“Food was delicious. My sister in law was visiting from Iowa and she wanted a good mofongo. And this is the place we chose. We had it with arroz con gandules and pernil. We also tried the alcapurrias and my son went for an empanadilla de pizza. I can say that everything exceeded our expectations. Mofongo was soft and moist not dry like other places, and the right amount of crunchy. The alcapurrias were not hot but was still good. We are definitely coming back!! Definitely recommend!!“
