“Drop Cafe is a hidden gem that you definitely need to experience. I love everything about it! The drinks are truly fine crafted and are the type of quality I look for when traveling. My matcha latté was perfectly balanced with sweetness and came with a heart on top. The food is excellent and handmade. There are so many fine bakery choices. My breakfast wrap was toasted until it was crunchy which really elevated the texture. The atmosphere is like cafés you see in photos or YouTube background music videos. The decor is fun and modern. The owner, Paris Kyriakou, is what takes Drop Café to 5+ stars. He really takes pride in making everything wonderful for his customers. He is kind, friendly, and welcoming. After only chatting briefly one time, and now each time I visit, Paris goes out of his way to say hello and to ask how I've been. He truly loves what he does and his passion for high quality coffee, food, and relationships makes all of the difference.“

“Myself and two friends were watching & photographing trains at the Ballardvale MBTA station on Saturday 3/23/24. a Very nasty, rainy day. We decided we were getting hungry and, and noticed a pizza shop across the tracks. None of us really wanted pizza, but we headed that way anyway. As we got closer we saw the sign for LULU's LUNCHBOX next to the pizza shop, and decided to check it out. Best decision ever!!!. I had never even heard of a Shawarma before, but they offered both beef & chicken. A Shawarma is very much like a wrap sandwich, but huge. The young girl in the shop told us that everything was made fresh daily, and this was evident as she cooked the beef & chicken fresh for us. I got the Beef Shawarma, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. Both of my companions got the Chicken shawarma, and it theirs looked just as good. The Lunchbox is small with one table, and extremely clean & friendly. I finished my shawarma, and even though I was full, my taste buds wanted more. I regret not ordering one to go for dinner. As someone who has many food allergies (dairy, egg, peanut, tree nut, sesame), finding a bakery who not only makes everything from scratch but everything without using the nine big allergens as well with every treat is so amazing. “Stopped by for lunch and the paninis were great. This was a great spot to get something to eat and get a drink. We left pretty refreshed. My wife is picky about chai and she loved it. My iced coffee was everything you'd want in a medium roast. There were a variety of sweetener options. Wifi was available and the bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly. My K2 kept saying it was the best lunch ever (chips helped get that review). We were in Feb but I can see the outdoor space working well when it's warmer.“

“I went to La Dolce Vita on Friday for my mom's birthday and it was definitely worth the 2 hour drive. I'm originally from Connecticut, I saw them on Instagram and the atmosphere looked so nice and fun I decided to take my mother. From the moment you walk in there's lots of smiles everyone is very friendly and super attentive. They attended us very quickly and when they saw that there was no seating they quickly helped us got us chairs and clean the table off for us they even went as far as helping us with pictures. The atmosphere is great I also loved how they play Christian music in the background making the atmosphere child friendly and also peaceful. “Battlegrounds is a cool little coffee shop right on the heart of downtown Haverhill. They have all sorts of fun coffee flavors and their own beans for sale. The baristas were very quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is a typical cozy coffee shop with couches and tables to choose from. We loved that we were able to sit on the couches by the window and watch it snowing while we drank our coffees (which were nothing too special, but were still good). We would come back here again if we were in the downtown Haverhill area.“

Coffee menu is standard but more than enough for me, without the California nouvelle experiments. I love soups and have tried their tomato, creamy and like my homemade, but it was refrigerated and had to be microwaved to reheat. Not bad but mine wasn't as steaming hot as I like from a fresh pot. It's busy most mornings, but tables and window seats open up quickly. Parking is easy and plentiful.“

“Look at this deliciousness!! I went to Pop Donut this morning (297 Andover St, Lawrence, MA) and got assorted piles of sweet goodies (I have 6 kids so I got a big variety) . These are the best donuts around, hands down. They deserve way more attention than they get on here. I call them My hidden donut jewel lol they’re light and fluffy with a beautiful rise.. perfectly cooked in clean oil (you can always taste when the oil is old). I got Boston cream, jelly filled, blueberry , honey dipped, assorted frosted ones and the biggest fluffiest French crueller I’ve ever seen! Also pictured is a bear claw, coffee roll and bow tie (my personal favorite). Everything was (and always is!) so fresh and delicious.We also got 2 coffees (one iced, one hot)..excellent. Oh! And the extra amazing part?! All this food (plus the coffees) only came to 33 dollars total! That is an insane price especially for food of this quality. The owners are super friendly too. I cannot recommend this donut shop enough. If you like donuts (to be honest, even if you don’t like them, go here, trust me they’ll convert you! Lol) this is the place to be!“

“I have gotten bagels from all over I've been to some of the most famous bagel shops in New York City where you wait for hours in line for a bagel and this is the best bagel shop of them all. These bagels are so much more soft where you can still squash them around a breakfast sandwich or with smear of cream cheese in the middle. You can't go wrong with their breakfast sandwiches and you can't go wrong with their lattes either.My go to bagel smear is the jalapeno cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese.“

“3/14/24 at about 7:45p I walked in with my partner, rushing and somewhat ashamed because we felt bad that we placed an order in such proximity to closing time... Little did we know that there was the amazing crew made up of Crystal, Cory, and Tony there waiting to make our night! From the moment we walked in, Cory and Crystal started engaging with us over our drink choices. They asked who got which drink, and how we felt about the lavender in the drink that we got to try, then proceeded to MIND BLOW US with information and samples of what they recommended we should actually get the lavender in if we are excited to try it, due to the flavor actually being very different than we (most customers) expected. They explained the contrasting and balancing of flavors in the different combinations so well that we were in awe. As we wrapped up our conversation to avoid keeping the longer, since we appreciated how much of their time and knowledge they had already spared for us, we tried to give a tip directly to Crystal for them to split (don't like leaving bigger bills in cups in case it gets stolen), but were flabbergasted by the fact that her and Cory were both managers and that managers aren't allowed to receive tips. We ended up having to put the tip in the cup since Tony had just stepped to the back. I really don't understand, nor agree, with the fact that managers can't get tips, I feel like ANY employee that goes above and beyond should be allowed to accept tips (not required to receive, but allowed to accept), hopefully that changes eventually. We will definitely be visiting our new favorite Starbucks crew again ASAP!!“

“We had an excellent Easter brunch here today. It was my first time and apparently they don't usually require reservations, but did for Easter which we made a week or so back. We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted and seated right away by a very friendly server. Our beverage orders were taken right away - one vanilla latte and one chai latte. Both were great. Often I find flavored coffees too sweet for me, but this one was just right. For entrees we got the strawberry cheesecake stuffed french toast and croque madame as well as sides of bacon and chicken apple sausage. Both entrees were perfection and the sides cooked just the way I like them. Somehow the bread on the croque was noted by both of us as having just the right light crunch and the stuffed french toast was decadent. I'm not sure what the secret was, but some of the best bread either of us have had. The food came about 20 minutes after we placed the order. I mention this because it seems in reviews early on there are mentions of long waits, but we thought it all quite reasonable, especially on a holiday. It was neither too slow nor rushed feeling. The place is very cute and we had a great view from the window, so any time waiting was very enjoyable. A couple of people showed up without a reservation and the very nice server actually went to talk with the owner/chef and kindly opened an extra table for them. I noticed they got the challah french toast which looked great and was apparently delicious. I'm wondering now why I waited so long to try this place - hoping to be back again soon.“

Molly handled the counter and another woman worked the drive through-they were both exceptionally pleasant and did not get flustered by the high demand. I watched Molly masterfully concoct various drink and food orders - honestly it was the best dirty chai latte I have had but a giant shout out to Molly who is definitely overworked and presumably underpaid.
