“It is so wonderful to hear that the Agawam Diner is still in business. I grew up in Portsmouth, NH and from 1975?-1989, my mother had to take me for a periodic checkup to an allergy physician in Danvers and most every time on the way back home we would stop at the diner to have something to eat. I am now 55 and living in Florida, but I will never my several visits to the Agawam Diner. For those that haven't eaten there yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed“

“My wife and I were in the area. Stopped for a late breakfast. Spacious, clean and friendly. Decor was local, natural and fun. Loved the light covers that appeared to be blue sky with occasional puffy clouds. Nice touch. Our server was amazing. Im not sure how her name is spelled but I think it was close to Ava (ah-va). Super friendly, good humor, very attentive. I did not have to ask for any of my 3 coffee refills. :) but not overly aggressive. I love dipping my toast in over easy eggs. First bite was noticeably good. I know you think eggs are eggs but my wife got scrambled and had the same reaction. Yum. Toast was hot and crispy. Bacon thick cut and crispy not burned. Average sausage patty. Thin ham with crispy edge was a nice difference. French toast was thick buttery with a healthy cinnamon taste. Home fries crispy with a light seasoning. And hollandaise was thick not oily. Prices were competitive not the cheapest but certainly not to expensive. GREAT breakfast :)“

“I wish we lived closer so this could be our weekly pizza joint takeout. Every time we visit friends in this town this is where we get takeout. Pizza, salads and subs are always fresh, made correctly and have the appropriate amount of toppings. I’m really picky about grilled chicken and tonight I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and it was wonderful. So much chicken, homemade dressing and plenty of fresh veggies!“

“I went to Grassfields Food & Spirits for the first time yesterday for lunch. I had my 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son with me. By gods grace my kids have always been easy to take to dinner without stress, however yesterday my son wasn’t particularly feeling the best because he is cutting a new tooth so he was screaming his head off (on and off) and my daughter accidentally leaned too hard on one side of the table which flipped up the opposite end and my entire, full, iced tea fell and spilled all over the floor. I must give a shout out to the staff there for being so kind and handling the situation with empathy and respect. If I could have anticipated that the kids wouldn’t do well at the restaurant I would have opted for lunch to go (which is what I ended up doing anyway after all that). The waitresses did not give me an attitude or dirty looks or get upset, instead they offered to clean up the mess for me and get me a new iced tea. It may seem like a small gesture but it didn’t go unnoticed because not everyone is as kind, understanding and patient. It’s proven in the death stare I did get from another diner lol. I also must mention that when we finally got home and ate the food was fantastic! The kids teriyaki chicken and rice pilaf was the best! My scallops Florentine was delicious too! I will be back for sure… maybe without the kids next time lol.“

“Its your basic Chinese food, but always well prepared. Comes out quick, hot, and fresh. Servers are always polite and on point. Great drinks, i only wish the bar was bigger. Sushi is put together nicely and always delicious. Never had a problem and frequent them quite often. Highly recommend for a quick stop or an extended sit down meal.“

My salad featured a generous portion of fried cheese curds and BBQ chicken. My husband ordered a fried chicken sandwich which he found to be a bit too spicy for his taste. I’m from New Jersey and this was our first time here we had tour guide Scott the man in the photo by the bathroom on top of Mount Kilimanjaro I would recommend the soup of the day and the lobster roll it’s a cold roll fresh lobster on a hotdog bun forgot to take more photos but plenty of tvs for sports aswell“
