“Good place to get a quick bite. As always they don't disappoint with their consistency and quality. The location of this subway is right inside the BX, it's to the left when you walk inside, between Dunkin Donuts and Froots. It does get pretty busy during lunch time so get their early to beat the crowd. There is plenty of seating available sharing among the other fast food spots.”
“Absolutely excellent meal with an excellent team. Starting with the amazing bread and butter and a ln orange creamsicle (adult version of a childhood favorite). Then the broccoli salad with poached egg (poached expertly creating a creamy sauce). I had the fusilli broccoli- home made pasta dressed beautifully. My husband had the chick pea stew - whole chick peas made this his favorite. Finished with delicious double chocolate chip cookies. Can’t wait to go back!”
“As you enter the bakery you can feel heavenly smell of freshly baked bread and pastries! The service is kind and friendly. All bakery products baked without preservatives and softening ingredients.”
“Their pan seared scallops with limoncello risotto is one of my favorites!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options. I've eaten here several times and haven't had issues.”
“The place was very nice -- I liked the ambiance and the vibe of it, made me feel like I was in a foreign country in a way. The food was pretty good, I ordered the horiatiko psomi, wild boar, loukaniko, and baklava for dessert. The bread was actually not bad, I just wish they heated up the bread so it was less cold, the butter that came with it was delicious though! As for the wild boar, I really liked it. The texture was perfect -- it wasn't hard to chew at all, and the potatoes that came with it really balanced the flavor out. The loukaniko, which is like a sausage, was also one of my favorite meals from the place. Lastly, the baklava was also amazing. The service was also good, the waiter gave us recommendations and it turned out to be one of my favorite dishes from there.”
“Had a nice sake tasting of the collection Alyssa brought back from Japan and then some. The place was pretty snug. Decor is great. The ambiance at night was cozy. I felt a bit crammed when every seat was taken, which I understand isn't everyone's cup of tea or something to worry about. The back-less stools keep you alert, not much room to kick back & relax. Come here and learn how many different flavor profiles sake can have. This is the place where you'll likely find the best sake around, if not the best you've ever had.”
“So glad we found this place!! Love the kimchi fritas with bulgogi beef, reminds us of our favorite place in Houston. The tteokbokki was standard goodness (a biiiit spicy and no fishcakes) but the tempura-ish seaweed on top was SOOO good. And the chicken taco was delicious!! The owner was very nice and doesn't speak a lot of English.”
“Celebrating the birthdays of 3 family members, our party of 10 ranged from 4 to 81 years of age. From the moment our waitress, Selesia, introduced herself to us, until we left the restaurant with a hug, her attentiveness and patience was exemplary. The food and ambiance were outstanding. The appetizers, antipasto di Norcino, calamari and bruschetta were delicious. Entrees that we had included the braised short ribs, which was so tender no knife was needed, gnocchi, bolognese and calce di pepe were all thoroughly enjoyed and no "doggie bags" were needed. I highly recommend Il Ponte and we will return.”
“Amazing food and staff! Our family loves the BBQ chicken, tofu soup and bulgogi. The glass noodle soup is also yummy. The bonchon (complementary small plates) are fantastic. Staff is super friendly. Warm environment.”
“Wow this food was AMAZINGgg. We ordered delivery and it came so fast! The caprese salad was sooo tasty and fresh. My bolognese was so delicious, every bite. My partner really enjoyed the chicken parm too, we will definitely be back!”
“Tiny pizza shop in Cambridge. Cash only but they have an ATM inside. We ordered three slices of the Sicilian and a large half pepperoni and half pineapple pizza. The pizza was great. Love the taste of the bread and also the quality of the pepperoni was great. The Sicilian pizza was good but not as good as the pepperoni/pineapple.We'll be coming back as this was an overall great dinner.Parking: Street parking on multiple street around”
“A spectacular dining experience like no other. The food is absolutely amazing. Having allergies it’s difficult to dine out, I was able to enjoy a meal with no issues.”
“The varied menu, excellent preparations and cozy atmosphere are truly special. It worked for the vegetarian among us, especially the mushroom cassoulet. Salad, monkfish and chickpea fritters were just great.”
“I just came back from Valentine's day dinner and I was very pleased with my expeirence. The portions were large and the staff was wonderful. The resturant is a bit small, and was especialy crowded for the holiday, but I think this is a great spot!”
“The spicy crispy chicken with what da chick sauce is my favorite. $15 for a chicken combo with rice, 2 sauces and soup is a great deal in Boston.I prefer dining in than takeout so the chicken stays crispy and also their staff is super friendly. I’d skip the tea/coffee next time tho.”
“Finally made it to this local hotspot as it is always packed. We didn’t plan ahead enough for a reservation but walked in at 6pm and sat quickly at their small bar which was a nice experience. I had an Elderberry Margarita and the Suiza Chicken Enchiladas.”
“I've been here numerous times, and every time it never disappoints. Amazing vibe, delicious food, warm & welcoming staff, what else could you want at a restaurant? 15/10, will always recommend!”
“The Nutella cruffin is incredible. Breakfast sandy's are mind blowing. The prices seem exorbitant for the quality and size. The guy behind the counter is a great dood!”
“This place is wicked cool! They specialize is South American natural wine (finally a natural wine bar in this part of the neighborhood!) they let me try a few before I chose a glass and they were really patient with me and knowledgeable about the wine!! I also got some empanadas that were tasty, the ham and cheese was my favorite! I even bought a couple bottles of wine to take home with me! Love this place, my new go to! Also loving the Lisa Frank vibes, the atmosphere is dope”
“It was past 10 and we didn’t have much hope in finding a decent spot to dine at last Saturday but “The Abbey” came through! Food and drinks were good and the vibe was amazing. My only regret is that I could try more of their options. Below is what we had for food:- Grilled Corn & Roasted Jalapeno Rangoons- Local Mushroom & Herbed Ricotta Empanada- Grilled Organic Chicken Sandwich”
“Found this hidden gem on Instagram one day and the birria tacos served here looked insane so of course I had to try it! The restaurant is small but the staff are super sweet. You can try and walk in; however, the place does fill up quickly so try and get a reservation if you can! Started off with an order of guacamole and chips with some salsa and upon first glance it looks pretty regular. But the first bite of the guacamole and you can feel how smooth and zesty it's been made. The salsa was also delicious with some heat! For entrees ordered the Al pastor burrito and of course the birria tacos. The burrito was massive and a very interesting take on a burrito as it was crispy and seared well unlike most burritos which are usually quick soft and floppy. But no flops here. Pair each bite with the guac or salsa and it's perfect moving on to the star of the show, why I came here! The birria looks amazing. I loved how crispy the fried cheese was. Similar to the burrito, most birria taco spots make a wet and floppy taco, but no flops here!! The meat was super tender and you can tell it's been stewed inside the consume for hours maybe even days?! Each bite was better than the last.My only warning is due be mindful of how much consume you're consuming as it's a little salty and you might not notice it until after you've left the restaurant or even the next day.”
“I needed appetizers for a family get together, with the recommendation of the owner, I got a few dips, pita bread and cheese. My guests loved the mouhamra dip, the baba ganoush, the humus, , the beet dip and especially the yogurt . At the restaurant, we enjoyed the cheese bread baked that morning. If you like your baklava with pistachio, that’s the place to buy it. Loved everything and the service was superior.”
“Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Multiple gluten free food options. Very nice atmosphere. Wonderful cups and mugs to drink coffee from. We are lucky to have a quality coffee shop to go to.Dietary restrictions: So many gluten free options to choose from. I usually have the bagel and it is very good.”
“Although I usually refrain from leaving negative feedback for local businesses, I feel compelled to share my recent experience at 80 Thoreau . Despite being one of my favorite restaurent , my latest visit was unfortunately marred by disappointing service from our waiter.Unfortunately, our waiter failed to meet the basic standards of service throughout our meal. Despite walking by our table multiple times, he never once inquired about the quality of our food or whether we needed anything else, including drinks for the children. Not once !! We even had to raise our hand to get his attention and he seems annoyed . However, the quality of the food and the warm welcome from the host remained as exceptional as ever.Additionally, we experienced a prolonged wait of approximately 50 minutes for our (adult food ) to be served, which was challenging with children in tow. When I sought clarification regarding a charge on our bill, the waiter’s response was unhelpful and curt. Instead of offering an explanation, he simply mentioned that a $10 discount had been applied by the manager, leaving me feeling confused and unsatisfied with the interaction.Despite the undeniable quality of the food, the overall dining experience was overshadowed by the inadequate service provided by our waiter. I sincerely hope that this feedback will encourage improvements in service standards at 80 Thoreau with attention to customer satisfaction, I believe the restaurant has the potential to maintain its status as a beloved establishment in the community.”
“Jinny’s has been our favorite pizza since they opened. Everything is amazing from the pizzas to the appetizers and the service is 10/10. The pepperoni pizza and caesar salad are a must! The ‘mike’s hot honey’ is great added on to the pizza. Don’t forget to add a buttermilk ranch dippin’ sauce for the crust. We do both dine in and take out. Seating is pretty limited so plan ahead. No reservations. Worth the wait! They move quick too.”
“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.”
“Ive been here at least 10 times. Always excellent food, service, and its always a great experience. This place has excellent vibes and whoever chooses the music knows whats up!”
“Excellent cookies in a wide variety of styles. I love many of them. I've thing I miss is the layered chocolate cakes they used to make. It was our go-to birthday cake. Too bad they dropped their cake offering!”
“Excellent Mexican restaurant on Moody Street in Waltham. We had a party for 8 for 5 PM. Our reservation was honored and the service was great. It was extremely clean and nice inside. Parking was pretty easy. Ample street parking there is a free lot around the corner. The drinks were very flavorful and pretty strong ?. The food was excellent as well.”
“That was my first time there at Southwick Zoo, and it didn't disappoint. I've enjoyed everything that it had to offer. The food, games, and the zoo were great. Not to go without mentioning the weather. Couldn't ask for a more perfect day.”
