“We had a small birthday party at the Brook in their private back room yesterday. I cannot say enough how great everything was! The room was perfect, the food was awesome and there was plenty for everyone to have seconds( we did the casual lunch buffet with pizzas and two kinds of sandwiches). The price was beyond reasonable! Rose our bartender went above and beyond in making sure everyone was taken care of! And she made a great Bloody Mary! I highly recommend the Brook for your next function, I know we will be back for more get togethers in that great space. 10/10 all around for everything!!“

My kids & I came here for lunch after my oldest’s dance class & our food was served in a beautiful display, they were super helpful & really put in the effort to make us feel welcome. “my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! “First of all, the cutest place! The food was excellent, we went on a week night so it wasn't busy and we got a selection of east coast oysters served with a mignonette. Love a place that knows their food, it was cool to be able to have oysters from different locations because a lot of places only have one selection and don't distinguish where they come from. Drinks were fantastic! Had a wonderful espresso martini. Also got the chicken sandwich which was SO good, crispy chicken, great fries, the sauce on it was delicious. I would repeat this place every week if I could!“

“It was our first time there on a rainy day last week. We always see it so busy so we decided to see what the hype was. Cute environment service was decent food was absolutely disappointing, ordered buffalo Mac and cheese it was so watery and tasteless I decided not to complain or send it back. When we were ready to leave the older waitress asks me if I wanted a box. I declined politely and was then asked if I was full???? Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. I replied absolutely not a d got the nastiest look. Lmao just a brief word of advice… when someone’s plate is still FULL of their meal and it’s pushed to the side MAKE THE CONNECTION instead of all the questions and ridiculous comments and also keeps your eye rolls to yourself. You can tell it’s all locals that rant there!“

“My wife and I visited Square Cafe in Hingham last night and we had an awesome dinner! I can't say enough good things about this place. Probably one of THE BEST meals I've had in a long time when dining out. The food...all of it....our appetizers, entrees and dessert was outstanding! Our waiter Jamis was the best! If you haven't tried Square Cafe, do yourself a favor and give it a try. We will definitely be a repeat customer!“

We ordered the Italian Feast — the chicken parm was the clear favorite, with the meatballs a close second and the lasagna not far behind. Even with plenty of cookies and brownies for dessert, people were still fighting over the leftovers to take home.
