“We had a small birthday party at the Brook in their private back room yesterday. I cannot say enough how great everything was! The room was perfect, the food was awesome and there was plenty for everyone to have seconds( we did the casual lunch buffet with pizzas and two kinds of sandwiches). The price was beyond reasonable! Rose our bartender went above and beyond in making sure everyone was taken care of! And she made a great Bloody Mary! I highly recommend the Brook for your next function, I know we will be back for more get togethers in that great space. 10/10 all around for everything!!“

My kids & I came here for lunch after my oldest’s dance class & our food was served in a beautiful display, they were super helpful & really put in the effort to make us feel welcome. “my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! “It was our first time there on a rainy day last week. We always see it so busy so we decided to see what the hype was. Cute environment service was decent food was absolutely disappointing, ordered buffalo Mac and cheese it was so watery and tasteless I decided not to complain or send it back. When we were ready to leave the older waitress asks me if I wanted a box. I declined politely and was then asked if I was full???? Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. I replied absolutely not a d got the nastiest look. Lmao just a brief word of advice… when someone’s plate is still FULL of their meal and it’s pushed to the side MAKE THE CONNECTION instead of all the questions and ridiculous comments and also keeps your eye rolls to yourself. You can tell it’s all locals that rant there!“

The steak tips are to die for, the mashed potatoes are the best we have every had, the chicken tenders, chicken ziti and broccoli and the lasagna were delicious...these are the comments I heard all night. “Didn't realize when we looked it up that it was in the basement of an office building, so felt weird going there. I am glad we went, blueberry pancakes were really good, the blueberries were so juicy. The Western omelette, even though it was deli style ham, was also very good with lots of veggies. Home fries and toast are not included with the omelette price which is different than I'm used to but the omelette was the star anyway!“
