“We had a small birthday party at the Brook in their private back room yesterday. I cannot say enough how great everything was! The room was perfect, the food was awesome and there was plenty for everyone to have seconds( we did the casual lunch buffet with pizzas and two kinds of sandwiches). The price was beyond reasonable! Rose our bartender went above and beyond in making sure everyone was taken care of! And she made a great Bloody Mary! I highly recommend the Brook for your next function, I know we will be back for more get togethers in that great space. 10/10 all around for everything!!“

“my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! “It was our first time there on a rainy day last week. We always see it so busy so we decided to see what the hype was. Cute environment service was decent food was absolutely disappointing, ordered buffalo Mac and cheese it was so watery and tasteless I decided not to complain or send it back. When we were ready to leave the older waitress asks me if I wanted a box. I declined politely and was then asked if I was full???? Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. I replied absolutely not a d got the nastiest look. Lmao just a brief word of advice… when someone’s plate is still FULL of their meal and it’s pushed to the side MAKE THE CONNECTION instead of all the questions and ridiculous comments and also keeps your eye rolls to yourself. You can tell it’s all locals that rant there!“

“So happy we came here. The service was great and the food was amazing! Our server took seven people's orders by memory and it was served perfectly. The knowledge of the menu made our server make recommendations that made the meal even better. We had a one year old in our party and they made accommodations for us. We all plan to return here.“

“My wife and I visited Square Cafe in Hingham last night and we had an awesome dinner! I can't say enough good things about this place. Probably one of THE BEST meals I've had in a long time when dining out. The food...all of it....our appetizers, entrees and dessert was outstanding! Our waiter Jamis was the best! If you haven't tried Square Cafe, do yourself a favor and give it a try. We will definitely be a repeat customer!“

I am glad we went, blueberry pancakes were really good, the blueberries were so juicy. The Western omelette, even though it was deli style ham, was also very good with lots of veggies. Home fries and toast are not included with the omelette price which is different than I'm used to but the omelette was the star anyway!“

“We hosted a recent baby shower at the View for 45 women. The food was great and our guests raved about the homemade meatballs and vodka sauce and the delicious chicken piccata! Working with Billy, the owner, Cathleen, his administrative assistant and Ashley at the bar, our service was excellent and all of our questions were answered no matter how insignificant they seemed. The September weather was spectacular and the view of the golf course was beautiful! I recommend this location for great service, great food and great memories made!“
