“Everyone here was great eggcept whoever the blonde girl is. She was extremely rude when she dropped our food off and then minutes later proceeded to fill creamer on the table reaching across our eating space. As someone who waited tables for years I was absolutely appalled.“
“The food was absolutely on point and felt so fresh. The portions were just the right size to leave you completely satisfied without taking home a doggie bag. The cheeseburger chowder was divine! This is a new favorite spot for my wife and I!“
“I've been going to Jake's for over 25 years. On my last visit home, I was so relieved to find out it was still open. I hope it never closes. Great food with a ton of options. Best pancakes in the world. Just a fantastic classic diner with a little extra class.“
“Seat yourself diner.....food was great!! got the eggs Benedict & banana bread french toast which was so unique and yummy. hot coffee tasted good too. we visited on Saturday so be prepared if it's the weekend to wait a bit. definitely a hearty breakfast we will be back!Parking: limited parking especially on weekends“
“Everytime we come here it’s a great experience! We usually end up coming at the busiest times but enjoy it everytime! We last time had an amazing server name Whitney! She was beyond helpful with the menu and extremely fast and personable service! Will definitely be back soon!“
“Some of the greatest experience I had in a while the servers were really nice and the food was great, when you enter just find an Open, clean table and they just serve you. Also it really brings you back in time as it feels the 19 hundreds really do recommend. Just as a heads up cash only, really its only cash and they take no card or any pay. Just cash.“
“Stumbled upon this place while traveling for work. A small, old school homestyle cafe with friendly staff, and typical greasy spoon menu. **Cash only, but I believe they had an ATM inside if needed. Believe my meal was $10, can’t get much for less than that nowadays.“
“Don't usually do this unless I have a real problem with a place so here goes..This place is a reminder of what a restaurant should be like.. To say the staff is friendly is pointless because they are supposed to be friendly and all have been everytime I've been there but when I brought my disabled mother who has dementia in for breakfast last week this one waitress went more than above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and even put a the biggest smile on her face which isn't easy..It takes a very empathetic and amazing person to connect like that let alone even want to with someone who just walked in the door..I mostly get take out because of my busy schedule but the food is soo good and everytime I go in there the staff is soo open and friendly it bothers me I can't sit in and enjoy my food. Thats how a good restaurant should make you feel..Note for the waitresses,,watch your step.Wheelchair accessibility: Small place like this i was worried about the bathroom size for my mother but it was more than adequate.. Getting her in and out of the double doors was tricky though and not much space in the isles..“
“Awesome breakfast sandwiches, just your standard ole classic that has a taste like you just made a solid breakfast sandwich at home & it always seems to come out neat & never messy which is a plus!! Friendly servers, and decent environment if you don't mind being in a place that has a store connected to it. It feels homey though!“
“Favorite breakfast spot in the region. You can't beat their portions and prices, and it doesn't hurt that the food is always delicious. It's telling that the place is almost always full and their biggest problem is having enough seating!“
“Amazing French toast. I got French toast in Puerto Rico and nothing could live up to it and it's fresh shaved coconut on top. The tropical coconut French toast from Felix's with the butter and syrup OMG almost matches up to how good my Puerto Rican coconut French toast was and I love it here. Amazing French toast good scrambled eggs. Good hashbrowns. I appreciate Felix. Also got a ham egg and cheese on croissant and it was very good good ham too“
“Vegetarian options: Worst service ever it took a a hour and it wasn’t even busy and the French toast was cold and I wouldn’t call it French toast it was more like a slice of banana bread that was made to be like French toast soggy and had no taste and I’m a professional chef and wouldn’t call any of the food that was brought to my table it all looked so disgusting we didn’t even eat we got it paid for it and left and went to ihops for a real breakfast“
“Small town diner. Quiet cozy atmosphere. First time here. Had the Mexican omelet, really good plate. Nice fire to the plate. Better than eating nothing but sugar and fats at IHOP or Cracker Barrel. Only spent roughly 35 minutes from time from order to paying the bill.“
