“Very small spot on the corner. I was by myself so I was able to be pointed to a seat on the corner window by the door. It was really noisy and crowded in that spot. I ate quickly, and don’t stay long. The ladies were all nice who served me.I ordered chicken pad Thai medium. I felt the “medium” was more bland than should have. I prefer more spice. I also asked for double protein but the one gal didn’t get it communicated in time. No biggie, just didn’t get it. Saved $3 by not adding it.Prices were decent. Service was fast. Food was good. Would recommend to others but maybe for takeout.“

“Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The fried chives were so good. The curries were so different and delicious. The shrimp and pomelo salad along with the green papaya was tasty. They have a bar opening soon and I can wait to check it out!Vegetarian options: Quite a few options to make things vegetarian or that are vegetarian.“

“It was an enjoyable lunch overall. The wait initially between placing an order and the appetizers coming out was a bit long but once the appetizers came out, the rest of the meal came out quickly too, with generous portions. All three of us left VERY full and barely could finish the three noodle soups and two appetizers!“

“Feel like something's changed in the past year or so. The food doesn't seem as cared for and has lost some of it's charm. not sure if just a bad day or if the chef has changed but other way feeling a little sad. still tasty but not the WOW it was “

“This Thai restaurant in Cambridge, MA was a fantastic discovery! The food was exceptionally delicious, and we enjoyed every dish we ordered. The vegetable salad with blue rice was a delightful surprise, with its vibrant colors. The service was also excellent, with smiles all around. The only downside was the need for improvement in their furniture seats and decor. Nonetheless, we’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit to Boston for the marathon.“

“I've had a lot of friends recommend what da chick and I've driven by so many times and I finally had to chance to try it out. The parking situation is a little weird, but there are a few 2 hr spots across the road. The inside of the restaurant is a little odd as the full menu is posted outside on the window. The woman inside was very helpful though, and I ordered the Thai coffee and the crispy chicken rice. There is a small seating area in another room so I sat to wait but the food came out surprisingly quickly! I ordered takeout so I didn't get to try it right away, but when I got home it was still warm and crispy despite it looking like it was going to be soggy. The portion was actually pretty big and the rice was great! They also gave a lot of chicken too. The coffee was also very refreshing and sweet. This is already a 5/5 for me, but I bet if you eat it fresh it'll be even better! Looking forward to the next time I can come back!!“

“We've been going to Cha Yen regularly since they opened, and their Thai food is a blessing to the Watertown community! The food is always delicious and fresh, and they are excellent at accommodating substitutions. We normally do takeout, but dine in is also great and we can't wait until they open their larger space across the street. If you are looking for excellent Thai food, give Cha Yen a chance!“

“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

“Loved it here! Such a cute unassuming place near downtown Dedham. So many menu options. We had the roti bread appetizer and shumai which were both delicious. The bread was crispy and chewy like a scallion pancake and came with a delicious chicken curry on the side. I ordered the beef ball noodle soup which kind of resembled pho. Delicious and huge portions for every dish. My friend wanted khao soi which she found under a different name on the menu. I believe it was called curry noodle soup. Service was prompt and not overbearing. Thai iced tea was delicious. I would certainly come back again.“

“There's lots of good Thai food around Boston but Thonglor is my favorite! Every time I take a new bite I literally think the words, "This is cooked to perfection" LOL... like the Ratatouille critic... Such a dependable delivery place, I try to order something new each time and every single dish has been delicious! I can tell from photos that the dine-in plating looks beautiful, and I think even in the take-out boxes you can tell there is lots of care put in. :) I love the pad kee mao, khao pad tomyum, and mango sticky rice. The curry puffs and keaw wan gai are also great!“

“I came here with my family on a whim (our plans to go to a different restaurant were foiled by the marathon). The restaurant is spacious and certainly has a wide array of options. There were some things that I enjoyed, but overall I would rather go to more specialized places for these dishes.I had the Hokkaido Don ($27.95) because I'm a sucker for ikura, sweet shrimp, and scallop. This was pretty good but could've been better. The ikura (salmon eggs) were a bit deflated, so I don't think they were that fresh. The other seafood was decent. The rice was overwhelmingly sour (too much rice vinegar?) so I didn't feel compelled to eat it. The accompanying miso soup was quite salty. My brother had the Sake Don ($22.95), and we both wholeheartedly agreed that Tora Sushi was far superior in terms of value and taste.I also tried a bit of the other dishes. The beef noodle soup was actually quite tasty (not sweet), and the pad see ew was pretty good.Overall Maguro does many dishes decently well, but not enough to choose it over specialized restaurants.“

“Everything was surprisingly delicious but what stood out compared to other Thai I’ve had around here was that everything tasted very fresh, like they got the vegetables today and made everything to order. Vegetables in a curry often get soft and overcooked but the green beans and peas still had that nice just cooked enough crunch. Yum! Will be back. Also, I always request no utensils or napkins when I get take out and it’s rarely followed but they did!“

“Pretty good food! Parking is a little difficult because the restaurant doesn’t have its own lot. Plenty of seating and we were the only people dining in at dinner time on a Monday. Not the best thai food I’ve ever had but certainly wasn’t disappointed.“

“AMAZING little restaurant between Porter and Davis Sq. in the Somerville/ Cambridge area. The menu is straight forward, delicious and under $10! wonder why is full of millennial kids! The food quality is amazing. These guys have a small, very consistent and tasty menu. A good alternative to the former Roo Dee (Porter Sq.) “This place serves really good ramen! I had the black tonkotsu ramen and on a seprate ocassion, I ordered one of their rice bowls and loved it. I am planning to try more of their menu because it is m worth the price. The place is pretty small, but it's also worth waiting here! The staff are nice and did not hesitate to make space for us to sit because it would have been too cold for us to be waiting outside.“

“Wow. Loads of succulent roast duck included with the Panang Curry. Duck was juicy and lightly crispy, delightful. Level-five spicy had a great zing, just enough to start the heat sniffles. Loved it. Even a few hotter levels on a future trip would be awesome. Would love to come back if I'm in the area again. Huge menu of interesting selections and everything I saw coming from the kitchen looked really inviting. Kudos! Quick seating for two on a Saturday night just after 6pm, but it filled up quickly by 6:30 with a small gathering of eager eaters waiting for tables. It's worth the wait.“

“I would recommend it because the food is good but when I ordered they said a half hour I had to sit outside and wait though. when I got there I had to wait outside almost a half hour because they only let one person in the building at a time. I got there about 45 minutes after ordering they told me five or 10 more minutes it took an additional almost 20 minutes. I sat outside in the freezing cold. I did not receive an apology or anything. This is the first time I have not tipped since Covid began.“

“Amazing customer service coupled with the most delicious and fragrant panang curry = the best combo. The mild spice level I requested was indeed, mild. “This is just one of Laughing Monk's locations! This location is closer to Boston in the Allston area so it's much easier to get to with public transportation. Food: I got the Tom Yum soup and the Pork Belly skewers. The soup was so hearty, delicious, and warm. I loved the sourness of the soup. Unfortunately, the noodles were clumpy and were breaking apart. This is such a fixable mistake so that wasn't great. The pork had good seasoning and liked the fish sauce it was paired with. Ambiance: This is a smaller location than the Wellesley or Boston locations but allows for more casual dining. Price: It was about $18 for the soups. Not bad for Boston pricing but I wish there were more noodles in the soup and that the noodles had been loosened before. Overall, I would go again just to try other dishes and it offers Thai dishes that not every restaurant offers.“

“After Plaster Funtime with the kids, I was searching for somewhere easy to eat with my kiddos but wanted to expose them to something they hadn't had before and that I loved. Pho!!! ?28 Bistro has a low key vibe, great music in the background, and the owner who works the register and tables(at least that Sunday) was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious! I had to order an 18yo, a 14yo, and a 7 yo. 29 Bistro didn't disappoint.Apps: Seaweed Salad, Short Ribs, and CalamariEntree options: Beef Pho, 2 x Seafood Pho, and Duck Pho (these aren't the names of the dishes, but the main ingredients within). My kids were loving the flavor, enjoying every moment of the experience, and had a bunch left over for lunch the next day despite being super full.I enjoyed it all. The Dutch Pho was absolutely amazing and while I over did it a bit in the apps, flavorwise, it was all amazing.Oh, we capped it off with various flavors of boaba tea! You've gotta check out 29 Bistro. I'll sure be back!!“

“Norwood's Best kept secret. You will not find better thai food ANYWHERE in New England. Monica and her staff make the most delicious and authentic thai food around. It is ALWAYS SUPER FRESH. So tasty. Reasonably priced. My personal fav is the Chicken Basil - and they will make it as spicy or not spicy at all. Just ask. My husband is a HUGE fan of the pad thai. It really does not matter what you order. It is all fantastic. You will be SO HAPPY if you give this a try. Best food ever. Been going here since it opened.“

“My mom and I wanted a quick meal before our concert, so we waited outside a few minutes before opening. We were the first, but when the restaurant opened there was already a line! I was impressed by how quickly they provided service to everyone, while still tending to each table's needs. When my mom expressed not being sure how much to order for the two of us the waiter kindly said that they thought the amount of food we ordered would be perfect, and it was! The Saigon noodles and sesame wings were delicious as well. Overall, a great lunch!“

“I'm sad to see this place has a lower rating than I would've expected!! my friend and I stopped by here for their lunch special on a weekday. the hostess and waitresses were very kind to us and very accommodating. my friend asked if the duck green curry was available for the lunch menu and even though it wasn't, they offered to make it for her anyway and charged lunch pricing! portions were HUGE and very worth the cost. Food came out super quick too. papaya salad wasn't the freshest but it had solid flavor. I loved the Mee Nam (noodle soup w cha Shu); big portions of meat and had extra portions to take home. The green curry my friend got was surprisingly not that spicy at all (even though she asked for spice) and they also gave her a huge portion. Highly recommend this place for lunch in beacon hill, I think it's very worth the price.“
“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“

“Finally tried dining in at Phu-Ket after only having it via takeout after all these years. It's small from the outside, but cute and intimate on inside: quiet, more tables than I expected and clean, so I was blown away. I came here for dinner with my dad, and we got the Pork Tenderloin with Sticky Rice appetizer, Spicy Duck Fried Rice, and Seafood Pad Thai. All delicious and a great portion for the price. The price for all the items was about $40-$50, which is very reasonable. And with the takeout rice I got, that was still under $70. The service was a bit slow to start, but there were a lot of tables and takeout orders the whole night. So it's definitely popular, and I can see why. Even had a lovely chat with hostess and chefs after. I'll definitely be back! Bring your appetite and be willing to try new things!“

“Do what I do. Ask for a large entree. Decline the rice or noodles. Instead of choosing 3 things to add to the large entree, choose 2: the grilled-looking chicken and the steamed-looking broccoli. They ought to fill the container with those 2. The sauce they put on that chicken is carbs aplenty and you get a delicious balanced meal for less than $10. Used to go here near daily for work. Miss this spot.“

“I ordered pad thai and rice noodles. Of all the pho restaurants I've tried since coming to Boston, this was the most delicious and friendly. The staff’s delicacy and professionalism gave me a great sense of trust! I was disappointed that the Pad Thai noodles were a bit short, but the seasoning was just right and I ordered it with a fork and was satisfied with both the quantity and taste. The rice noodles also have less MSG flavor, are refreshing, and have quite a lot of meat. It had a clean rice noodle flavor, so it suited my taste ^^“

“for the price: stellar. a great cheap thai food spot on campus with plentiful portions. my recommendation is to always opt in for the crispy chicken which adds a delightful crunch to any hearty dish. the pad see ew is always a great go to and for me, the pad thai is a little bit overly sweet. did not like the mango sticky rice when I tried it. ambience and vibe inside is nothing flashy- you order at the counter and pick up food when ready. food usually does not take too long to get though. get the chaing mai curry noodle - fantastic soupy dish adn crispy wontons add a delightful texture. fried rice portions are always very large.“

“I ordered drunken noodles for delivery and one thing I appreciated so much was that it included not only a spring roll but also crab Rangoon! Typically I am left wishing I could replace the spring roll with a crab Rangoon (which most places do not do), but here I did not have that struggle. I also enjoyed how the food was still hot when it arrived. The noodles were consistent throughout. There have been times where l've ordered drunken noodles from other places and some parts are white since the sauce did not reach them. The texture was perfect; soft (like rice cakes) but not falling apart. The taste was really good, and it was not too spicy so you were able to capture all the different flavors including basil leaves, protein, and veggies. And speaking of veggies, they all tasted fresh and there was a good amount of them. The shrimp was a good size and cooked well, and the chicken was thinly sliced but not dry. The spring roll was crispy and the filling was tasty. The crab Rangoon was a bit different than traditional crab rangoons in that the filling had a curry hint to it and it was yellow-ish rather than white.“
