Large portions of tasty, very freshly-made Mexican and Tex-Mex fare, lots of options for vegetarians (and some for vegans!), and very friendly people running the place. Absolutely recommended for a quick meal, or for take-out, which I think most folks opt for, but they miss the great selection of soccer games.

The only downside is the waiting area. You are packed like sardines in line to place or pick up an order.
I would definitely suggest calling ahead and placing an order for takeout over the phone.
There are a few tables for sit-down dining but the room is very tight and crowded.“

“Patzcuaros is literally the best Mexican place I have been around the Boston area. Tacos are always fresh and delicious and the Margaritas are the best I have ever taste in the whole state of Massachusetts. This is coming from someone that has tried many, if not all Mexican restaurants around the area. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Also, the service is always on top. Bravo! “Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“This has always been one of my go-to places, and I’ve loved coming here for years. Unfortunately, today’s visit was really disappointing and left a sour taste.
I was there to celebrate my partner’s birthday and mentioned that to our server, Jenny M, but it went completely unacknowledged. The restaurant was empty — we were the only guests — so I expected great service, but it was honestly the opposite.
She got my order wrong, and I had to call her over several times before she finally came to the table, rolling her eyes as she did. When I politely mentioned the appetizer mistake, she took the plate and, as she walked away, said, “What? Are you allergic to chicken?” — even though my main dish was chicken. The comment felt rude and unnecessary.
We’ve been loyal customers for years and chose this restaurant for a special occasion, but the service made it feel like a mistake. Even small gestures like turning the music up — something we’ve always enjoyed about the atmosphere — were ignored. We eventually played music from our phones just to lighten the mood.
This experience was really disappointing, especially knowing how great this place can be. I hope management addresses this, because loyal guests like us truly value the restaurant and want to see it live up to its usual standards.“

“Gave 5 stars even though this place only deserves 1. Unfortunately ANY other taqueria in Revere is better than this one which made me sad because Tulum has the nicest location. Let alone the fact that they bribed me to give a 5 star review or else they wouldn’t discount my overpriced meal. Honestly the quality of the restaurant made me wish I had stayed in bumper to bumper traffic on Revere Beach instead of pulling over to try something new. “Excellent drinks, great food, great service. We had a few of the cocktails, the taquitos, chips & salsa, quesabirria tacos, and a few other tacos. The cocktails are fantastic & unique, but expensive (standard Seaport prices). The food is also really good- so far the best Mexican food I've had in Boston - I know that bar is low but I'm from CA so my standard is high. The red salsa was nothing special, the green salsa is great. The taquitos are delicious and the quesabirria was perfect- when I go back I'm getting 2 quesabirria combos and that's it. Check this place out if you're in the area, and make a res on the weekends- I came here with some friends around 7 on a Saturday and there were no seats available. It's worth it!“

“Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

“La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy!
