“Happy Birthday, _____! Now here’s a happy twist! _____ (a leap year baby! 😉 ) treated us to her Happy Birthday celebration at the splendiferous Shawarma Palace yesterday! Right across the side street from The Commons at Worcester City Hall! Yes! We New Englanders know how to party! _____, her husband _____, pal _____, and yours truly (all of us Leominsterites) made merry at the best middle eastern establishment around! (It’s been a favorite of mine for some time!) Oversized containers piled high with falafel, kibbeh, egg plant, grape leaves, rice, vegetables, as well as beef and chicken (all separated for the veggies among us, ahem!), hummus, tahini, pita bread, baklava, etc. etc.! All in the wonderful Shawarma Palace! When I worked in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in the 1980s, I fell in love with the orange-and-lemon-flavored shawarmas along Al Baatha Street, the central traditional thoroughfare at the time. Today, we all got to replicate those flavors at the Shawarma Palace! Hurray and hurrah!“

“This place has absolutely amazing food. I came down from Boston for a real estate deal and stopped in for some authentic Mediterranean food and Gyro and Souvlaki blew me off my socks. The guy to was huge, outstanding portions and the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was clean, and I felt like I was in the comfort of my home. “I always order through doordash and hot table never misses! Their ingredients are always fresh and very taste, the level of dedication they put in their food is outstanding! “Out of towner here visiting for a long weekend. Ordered a small cheese pizza and small margarita pizza. Both delicious and well worth the price some reviewers are griping about. “Lucians has been providing excellent food and service to downtown Worcester and surrounding areas from different locations for at least 20 years. You won't find nicer people anywhere. “I just had the meatball sandwich and potato salad. Honest review....the meatballs are AMAZING, the bread was very fresh and delicious. Very messy to eat but worth every napkin used!! The potato salad had a bit more mayo than I like but it had a nice flavor and was really good. The price is very reasonable for the portion size and quality of food.“

“We love Chick-fil-a and wanted to go there to celebrate our adoption day! We were waiting for our family to arrive to order our food and Grace asked if it was someone’s birthday. Grace and Kayla made our celebration super special! They made our day extra special! The came out with a special treat and gifted us a meal. We appreciate it. “Im torn up by the food in this place. The beer is excellent. But the food is from meh to bad.
The chilli taste only to cumin, nothing else. The guacamole do not hace salt. The nachos are meh. The boneless wings are over fried. The pizza is meh.. our waiter was very nice. And the atmosphere was good.
So i would say its a good place to get beers amd fries.. (the fries are really good).“

I have to say not only was my salmon exquisite the real reason, our experience was on the top of our list Is because of our server. She made us feel so comfortable and at home. We felt like we’ve known her forever, which is a great feeling as we are always in new areas. Not only was her knowledge on every item I asked about on the menu top-tier but her customer service and friendliness was outstanding. I have family who also travel here quite often And I will be recommending this restaurant and having them request her Because she is what made the experience so memorable.
