“AMAZING! I love a tapas restaurant, try a bunch to share is wonderful, and good wine helps! Don't call me crazy but GET THE SWISS CHARD! The boom boom shrimp was so good! The sauce on the patatas bravas is good but spicy beware. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! The special pizza had pork, onions, pineapple I forget the cheese but this is also a MUST, I know pineapple on pizza is a NO NO but this was AMAZING! For dessert we had bread pudding and passion fruit gelato also very good! Highly recommend this restaurant!“

Last time as we were standing there for almost 10 minutes while we were ignored. But when the phone rang that was picked up right away and that order was placed.“

“We have been to Porta Via many times now and it is outstanding. Porta Via is a smaller restaurant which allows them to focus on quality, quality, and most importantly, quality. Whatever the wing specials are the night you go, just get them. They'll be delicious. The pizza? I feel its the best in Berkshire County. It really is. The texture of the dough, the attention to detail in the way they bake it, and the flavors they put together are outstanding. My favorite is The Rocket Jam and it never disappoints. We've also sampled other items from their menu and we've always been very happy but I always go back to the pizza. Although, I was watching some pasta dishes come out of the kitchen tonight and I have to say I was envious! They looked incredible! I've always appreciated the effort they put into marrying flavors and it shows in the final product. The service? Always top notch, attentive, and professional. We have never had a bad night out at Porta Via and I always look forward to a visit!“
“Dinner last night at Mario's did not disappoint. I have to say first that this was our second time there, first time our waiter was Brian. When I made reservations for our second trip I asked for Brian, he was not on last night. Shea (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was our waitress. Shea was so pleasant ,laughed and joked with us. We were with another couple who had never been. They said for sure they'd be back. Next time we will ask for Brian or Shea. It makes all the difference in who your server is, thank you Shea!“
“Went to early Wednesday night dinner. Home made manicotti and meatballs and stuffed peppers. Both were delicious with a very tasty sauce. The service was so friendly and welcoming. Cash only, but there was an ATM in the back.Parking: We parked on the side street.“
“Amici in the little town of West Stockbridge is a local Berkshires mainstay. The Italian food is comfort food of high quality and flavor and includes a variety of pastas, pizzas,, classics and more. The bar is nice and there is nice outdoor area if and when the weather cooperates.Evan has been our server many times and he is a treasure. He is relaxed and friendly and knows what you want before you know what you want. The restaurant reopened a year or so ago after a fire and came back with the same gusto. You won’t be disappointed so go try it out.“
“Curbside pickup only but the gentleman who brought our food to the car was very kind. The pizza was classic Greek style with an excellent crispy crust and had a generous portion of toppings on it. “When we entered, there was about a 10 minute wait. We were seated as soon as possible. The owner was very visible throughout the restaurant and made sure that everybody knew that it wouldn’t be long. He was very involved in making sure everyone was taken care of. When we were seated, Jenny was our server and she got our drink order and returned promptly with them. Jimmy had a captain and coke and he said it was good. I stick with my usual— Diet Coke on the rocks— lol — Jenny brought our bread out and took our order. We got the scallops as an appetizer and we each ordered the same thing, it was the Highland Trio which consisted of a generous piece of chicken Parm, with an amazing/perfect amount of sauce, a humongous sausage link and an equally huge meatball — which anyone could tell was homemade (even my mom would have raved about it and she was picky). It came with a very generous portion of pasta and sauce as well as a salad. Everything was delicious. I ended up having leftovers (Not sure how anyone could possibly finish all of the food we got) but Jenny helped me pack up. We are not big dessert and coffee people but the desserts did look delicious in the dessert case. Perfect timing on everything. The Highland is truly a hidden gem in the city of Pittsfield and I would highly recommend it to anyone that lives here or is visiting. You will not be disappointed.“
“We went tonight together for the first time— we had both enjoyed previously and we can’t wait to go back!! We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Sheila, came right over and got our beverage order—-they have raspberry iced tea— my favorite!! Jimmy had a coke. I had seen on the lobby special board that they had Zuppa di Pesce and I was sold just seeing the words. Jimmy knew he wanted pizza and ordered the meat lovers with mushrooms added. My dinner came with a salad also. Perfect size to complement the meal. Everything came in a super timely fashion and was piping hot upon arrival. Totally a hidden gem that needs more recognition in Pittsfield **ample parking and tons of seating inside** We have added this to our local favorites list!! Sheila was awesome as I am sure the entire staff is as well!!“

“The pizza was VERY good. The price was a bit higher than o expected, but worth it after tasting it. We got take out, so I can only comment on the phone ordering and pick up...both were effective and efficiently executed. The restaurant itself, which I could only see from outside, was very small, just a few tables, and included a deli-like counter which gives it a very casual counter service feel. The decor looks like an Italian deli. The pizza is huge. We are a family of 4 adults, and the owner recommended two pizzas, but it way too much food. One would have been enough for four adults. The pizza was very a medium thickness, a good amount of sauce, perfect of amount of cheese, and cooked crispy.“
“We went to RJs on Valentine’s Day. It wasn’t planned but while I was waiting for my husband at the drs, I saw the facebook post for their Valentine’s offer of 20% off during their lunch hours. First time there and they made the experience lovely. The food was amazing. I had the sole with crab meat and lobster sauce. The fish was cooked so tender. I don’t think I have ever tasted such a tender fish. What I loved about it in addition to the tenderness, the flavors were each there. In one bite you tasted the Sole, followed by the crabmeat, the lobster sauce that actually had lobster in it. With the next bite came the lobster sauce, crabmeat, then the Sole. The thing was which each bite and different melding of flavors, they were all there. I thoroughly enjoyed it all. Thank you and we will be back.“
