“The husband and I did an order during their soft open, and it was super good! We have ordered atleast 2-3 more times since the soft open and it's always good! I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“We went looking for Barbecue International and found out it was changed to Himalayan Kitchen. First timers and we ran into the owner who was super nice. We had the chicken pakoras, chicken tika masala lunch, garlic naan and beef chilli. Honestly favorite restaurant in Somerville now, definitely going to be regulars here. Everything was spiced perfectly and was amazing. 10/10 perfect comfort food and also good day food. Really happy we stopped by.“

“Great for mala (dry) and for other shareable plates. Their large dish can definitely be split between 3 or so people. Would highly recommend recommend if you’re in the area and craving something spicy. Parking is of course very difficult to find, but not unusual for the area.“

“Came here for the 1st time to celebrate my husband's birthday with a party of 4 adults and 4 kids and we were able to enjoy a delicious meal to accommodate all our tastes. Ordered some skewers nonspicy for the kids (chicken, pork sausage, chicken heart) along with egg fried rice and steamed dumplings which they really enjoyed. Adults enjoyed drinks and skewers along with cold wheat jelly salad and the eel with cucumber salad. The chicken and lamb skewers were the crowd favorite. Service was great as well!
Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is spacious and we had a party of 8 with 4 children (ranging age 2-7) and we were seating along the wall / bench on one side which worked great. They offered high chairs but we didn't need it. They also provided plastic plates and utensils and kid friendly water cups for all the kids.“

“I never believed my life will change in such a manner. “I've been going to Simards for 20+ years and prefer it to other local roast beef places because they remain friendly and affordable despite the changing times. The drive thru sign needs major renovations (like lights) but I don't come for a drive thru sign I come for a decent roast beef sando with fries and a drink. There is always someone friendly working the window and the cost does not break the bank like a similar places like this.“

“We usually call and check to see if our favorite server Christine is working, but she had the night off. So I ask the hostess to recommend a server who was good. Well She suggested Ashley, who was absolutely amazing! Great personality, great service, never felt rushed, checked back to see how everything was !! To top it off for the very first time in all the years I have been coming here this is the very first time we had a very nice Manager come to our table and ask how everything was!!! His name was Mike. He was walking around checking with other tables, helping deliver food. I was so impressed! “The food was really good! I personally think this is one of the best Korean restaurants near Boston!! The Naengmyeon (냉면) 🍜 was really good and the beef dumplings were so delicious 🥟. I really recommend trying this place! Apparently, this restaurant is one of the oldest Korean restaurants near the Boston area!! The staff were so kind and the place is clean.“
