“This is one of the only places in the Boston area that serves white cheese dip! I know, white cheese dip is not a culinary marvel or even anything authentic but man I love it and I've been missing it since moving here from the south. The food was solid and reasonably priced. Also, you get chips and salsa when you sit down - big plus on my book. The menu has draft beer listed, but it wasn't available when I visited.“

“The food is great. I always get the taco special. The ingredients are fresh.
The only downside is the waiting area. You are packed like sardines in line to place or pick up an order.
I would definitely suggest calling ahead and placing an order for takeout over the phone.
There are a few tables for sit-down dining but the room is very tight and crowded.“

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

Great service here and we had a fabulous evening. Five stars!“

I have also come for lunch and have tried their quesadillas as well which were also delicious. It is pricey and it’s a set amount of items per order, like minimum 2 tacos etc, so I don’t frequent. I find myself going to Tenoch Mexican more often because of flexibility in terms of ordering items separately etc.“

They also have a plethora of assorted hot sauces waiting for you at their side table. I wish I lived closer to Boston… I’d be there weekly if not every other day! All have been seasoned well and so flavorful! The only tiny complaint is that the side of guacamole with my quesadillas was very tiny, like a tablespoon. “My husband and I went to Lone Star Taco Bar for the first time tonight. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient! Our waiter answered all our questions and took great care of me with my food allergies! I felt totally safe!! The food was packed with so much flavor and everything just melts in your mouth! The guacamole was literally the best I’ve ever had in my life and the tacos were flavorful and fresh!! We wanted to try one of everything so we will definitely be back. The ambiance is welcoming and I loved the decor. 10/10 stars!!“

I definitely got it at Acapulco Restaurant. Customer service excels at this Mom and Pop venue.

The Margarita was expertly prepared and complimented the whole meal. There was plenty from the chips and plain salsa to the number one, which included rice and beans.

But Tenoch's tacos are really top-notch and some of the best in the Boston area that I've had. Other taco places are going to charge you $8 per taco and add all this random stuff on top. At Tenoch, the tacos are a lot simpler and similar to what you'd find in CDMX - meat or veggie of your choice, onion, cilantro, and that's it (and sauce of course). They don't need a lot on top because the flavors are awesome. I've had carnitas, chorizo, suadero, al pastor, and pollo, among others. All 10/10. Service is also quick and friendly. Not sure why there isn't always a line out the door!“

“I can't believe I am only now writing a review for this place. I used to come there all the time when I worked in the neighborhood. When you come in, you can see that they cook their meats fresh in a giant drum. I therefore know the principal ingredients are fresh. I do miss the pre-inflation days but I still think it's reasonably priced. One worker used to know my order by heart. I am glad that there has been no drop off in quality since the olden days. Will probably go back if I'm hungry and in the area.“
