Creamy Tum Yum Noodle Soup: The Tum Yum soup broth was exactly authentic. It provided a strong taste of both tangy and spicy, exciting my taste buds and increasing my appetite. As for the ingredients, shrimps were fresh and bouncy, char-siu slices were crunchy but not greasy, while the lime added extra zing to the soup.
But to be frank, unfortunately I could still taste the gamey smell from the refrigerated pork, even though it had been that heavily seasoned.“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“

We had the mango sticky rice as dessert, amazing, I’d pay 10$ for that mango alone. Had brianna scrape the plate (very rare!!), see picture below.

“I got take out poke bowls and they were both really delicilious. I got my partner the ahi tuna bowl on salad. He said it was really tasty, but the salad was just big chunks of lettuce and not cut up quite right. That was the only negative remark. I got a build your own bowl with tofu and shrimp tempura with corn, seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame with spicy mayo. It was SO GOOD! The person behind the counter was so nice. I will absolutely be back often.
The inside might not look super fancy and what not, but it's worth the try.“

“I think people that are complaining here are overly privileged and don't appreciate the little things let me tell you why. I'm not saying there feelings don't matter but I am struggling in this state, and can't cook at the moment so to get some "nutrients I ordered a pizza from here that would have garlic, parsley etc and I instantly felt better! The pizzas were so good. As someone who lost a lot of family, I'm not going to bicker about pizza. I thought it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the medium size and it had lots of cheese. Didn’t think Downtown Boston needed another affordable Asian takeout place, but this one actually serves some of the best quick bites in the area. Despite being right next to the Commons, the sushi rolls are priced like grocery store sushi, but taste better & fresher. Most recently, I tried the chicken katsu curry, and it was really solid for the price. The curry leaned a bit watery, but they used chicken thigh for the katsu, which kept it tender and juicy without excess fat.

Given the number of students nearby, it gets busy during the semester. You can ask for your rolls to be made fresh, but even the pre-packed ones from the fridge were nearly as good. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for something cheap, quick, and actually decent around Downtown.“

“My wife and I came in for the first time tonight and were blown away by the food. The Legendary Burger absolutely lives up to the hype. Perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and easily one of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. The General Lee’s Fried Chicken was also outstanding. Crispy, bold, and packed with flavor. The kitchen is clearly firing on all cylinders.

Amiel was our bartender and he was pleasant and professional. Service was straightforward and efficient, though we didn’t get much follow-up during the meal. That said, the food more than spoke for itself.

“Been coming here since 2009. Nothing but spectacular experience. The GM Kevin is very hospitable and makes sure you are taken care of. The menu is spectacular and the new items are some of my favorite. I will say tho I do miss the tuna tataki but they accommodate every time.“

Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

“I don't write many reviews. For me to write a review a restaurant has to be either really bad and amazingly good. Sugar and spice is amazingly good Thai food! My wife says it was the best pad thai she's ever had. My son had the tamarind duck, which I sampled, and I had the kanom jean nam ngaio (see pics). Both were sooo good. Service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!“
